Review Shawarma Palace - Surrey

Oh wow. Not only is their food awesome, but the service is great, the staff are really friendly. The very best part, though, is they make a proper toum. My kingdom for excellent toum. Check this place out. And the prices are really, REALLY good.

Come here for the potatoes + toum. One of the only places around that do their potatoes proper. Go all in with the platters you can't go wrong!

Terrible food. Asked family tray included Shawarma kebab and chicken pieces. 70% of the plate was potato, when you look at home, we thought chicken piece apparantly were potatoes. This is our First and last in this place. Very disappointed.

Good and service was good. Staff need to clean the dining area.

Good food. But make sure when ordering childrens meal off door dash you say no hot sauce. I didn’t choose the add hot sauce option. And still it arrived for my kid with hot sauce all over it. I called to complain and was told standard policy to put hot sauce on even if for kids meal. Doesn’t make sense to me. Most kids don’t eat Spice. Money wasted

I have been coming here since 2018 and it use to be great, the service and the food but lately its been going downhill. The people working now have no customer service skills. I’ve also noticed the food portions are a lot smaller now and does not taste as good either.

Too much carbs. Rice and potatoes. This took too much space in the container leaving a small place for the meat. Although the container is full, the meat portion is not too at par with other places that serve this kind of food. The taste was ok but you can get the same taste, bigger meat portions and cheaper price at other places. Staff was friendly.

Excellent service, yummy food and and huge portions. I googled this place today and decided to go. It’s a clean restaurant with few parking spots. Very busy area so have patience finding parking folks!! Two very hardworking young ladies were helping customers with a big smile which is very rare at halal restaurants. 😜 I ordered couple of chicken shawarmas and drinks. It was sooo good, stuffed with lots of chicken, salads etc. very tender and juicy with perfect balance of sauces. They were wearing gloves and keep changing them while working on cash register. Amazing job ladies. You both deserve a raise. I told them I came from another town just to try this heavenly food. ( I guess they will know who I’m 😉😁. People looking for halal shawarma and sandwiches should try at least once.

I LOVE this place! It's clean, fresh, and the staff are lovely. The food is the best in Surrey if you ask me...I am so thrilled to have such excellent shawarma in my neighbourhood, and this is my new go-to place in Surrey/Newton when I need a pick-me-up or a good meal out. Highly recommended!

They were really good when they opened, but their quality has gone down. There are several other options in the area that are much better. Service / management need improvement.

The food is very good if it is ever cooked...I walked out today! It was my second time in a row I couldn't order my food because it wasn't ready...I hope they make some changes because I come out from Tsawwassen,

One of the best shawarma places in town, hands down guys. Delicous food, very neat and welcoming environment and friendly staff. Best shawarma in town. I will be looking forward to trying out other items on your menu. Lamb chop and chicken platter were awesome .

Luv the Falafal and the other dishes look good. Service has always been friendly. If they opened one in Central City I'd go there more often.

We drive from Coquitlam to Richmond just for shawarma. You guys need to expand into Coquitlam the demand is there.
