Review Joyful Indulgence Bakeshop Cafe - Surrey

This wonderful bakeshop is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. The place is bright, airy, clean, cosy and very inviting. The owners are extremely friendly and passionate about their craft. And it shows in their tasty creations. Overall, I would give them the title of "Best Bakeshop in South Surrey". Even my colleagues who have no love for lemon meringue tarts, said that the ones here have changed their opinion.

This place is amazing! I worked in a bakery for about 8 years, coffee shops for around 10 and this place has them all beat. Super friendly service, some of the best pastries and baked goods you'll ever have! Genuinely, best scone I have had in my life. If you're thinking of going here, stop thinking and do it. You won't regret it.

Ordered these beautiful cupcakes. What a hit they were!! When I order from joyful indulgence they always go above and beyond. The best presentation, best customer service and best tasting baked goods I have ever had. I want to make sure everyone knows that. The cookies and cupcakes are amazing!!!

We love it here! We are always greeted with extremely friendly service. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. We had the Pretty Woman cake twice and can’t wait to order again. My husband’s favourite is the lemon meringue pie. We had ordered cupcakes for an open house but forget to bring a plate to put the cupcakes on. They were kind enough to lend us a plate. It’s these little things that makes this bakery stand out. We look forward to trying many more yummy treats here.

BEST. SCONES. EVER! Decided to try this bakery when we drove past it by chance and so glad we did. We had the honey lavender scone and herb and cheese scone. Nice and crispy on the outside, soft, moist and chewy on the inside. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Great ambiance. We would definitely make the drive back from Richmond! So worth it! Looking forward to trying their other goodies! YUM!

Definitely one of the top bakeries in the area. We tried three bakery items and all of them are amazing. Soooooo yummy. Can’t wait to go back and try some more!

Love this local bake shop! A warm, friendly atmosphere. The owners, who share a window into their living room, are lovely and attentive to ensuring the best possible customer experience and indulgence. From the teas to the scones, cookies, soups, salad and cakes (and more)...yes, I’ve tried them all...the flavour profiles are delicious and always a good balance of texture. Definitely a long list of favourites! Each bite is joyfully savoured and has me coming back for more!

One word... AMAZING! I’ve been searching for a wonderful bakery for what seems like forever and I truly found it with this place. The cakes are creative and amazing. Not too sweet, not dense, not crumbly, just perfect Lavender lattes are to die for!!! I especially loved the decor and the staff. They even have what appears to be the first $20 the bakery made framed on the wall. I love knowing that I’m supporting real people in the community. Keep up the great work! I will be recommending to everyone!

Amazing place , I am a regular customer at Joyful 💜. How cozy this place this . This is a heaven 👍, this place makes me happy . Especially the owners both guys are the best . I ordered cake for my daughter ‘’ sweet sixteen. They made German Chocolate cake for her birthday with fresh flowers. I was not able to arrange nice flowers. But when i went to pick up Cake , i was so happy to see how they had bought flowers for the cake . Cake looked amazing with dark purple , peach white flowers on the top . Best choice ! This place is made for all who love Cakes , desserts . If anyone is in Vancouver & has not got a chance to visit this place then you are missing a big thing , big charm in your life . If you have a special occasion you can definitely rely on this bakery not only for price point but flavor!
