We ordered 2 spicy hotpot, 1 pork & 1 fish, with lamb; assorted appetizers; 2 drinks - fresh taro slush & banana with milk. Food is tasty, great portion. I liked the taro drink but my friend didn't like his.

Oh Bubble World. The old Bubble World was sooo much better from years before. Now a hot mess of a restaurant - sticky floors and tables, dirty windows. The food so unimpressive - raw dumplings (lady said “pink pork is cooked”) and the drinks watered down and unappetizing. Door Dash menu items even smaller and often undercooked or overpriced. Was a longtime customer until now.

I'm glad to be able to visit Bubble World Surrey location again! 😀 I love being able to have a real Bubble Tea which I classify as being good by have multiple flavours in it, and with ice-cream as an added option. So so good!! It is well worth paying a little extra, to get a much desired taste. I also like the hostess/cashier as she was very polite, knowledgeable, and patient with my order. I go here from time to time, even though it is a bit of a drive from my home, because so few places are able to add these extra options, especially the ice-cream. So thank you Bubble World and staff.

I am a new resident in Surrey and have been delighted to discover this establishment so close in proximity to my home. The food here is delicious and savory and the bubble tea the best in the west! The staff work very diligently in establishing a rapport with each client they encounter. I feel valued as a customer each time I purchase a new food item..all of which are awesome! I want to send a shout out to Yvonne whom has been especially kind to me. She exudes warmth and kindness to me on a daily basis. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone residing in Surrey!

Food is good and portion is reasonable. The waitresses who served us are quite nice too. Overall our impression is good.

Just left this spot and I have to say this is my by far the worst customer service experience I've encountered, After not having anyone answer my phone call until my third try, I placed my order, showed up to pay, got into the building behind one guy already paying, stood there to be ignored and having not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 people that came in after me to pay and place a order before me... I call out to the older lady which was probably the "poor excuse of the manager" that was working with seems to be a trainee, which explains why it took forever answering the phone calls, I said are you seriously gonna ignore me and allow 4 other people to pay before And pretend that I'm not even there? She had the audacity to justify their actions saying they ordered first? Well of course they ordered first you allowed them all to go ahead of me! If I could give this restaurant a 0 I would 1 is too good for you guys that are too incompetent to do your jobs correctly worst customer experience of my life, and she acted like that behavior is okay?

Best bubble tea for price! Food items are good especially if you dine in fresh and hot. They are super busy most times so pick a weekday to enjoy dine in.

bubble tea paradise before it was cash only store now they accept debit card payment. Large serving with affordable price. Food are really good and staff are so friendly.

I used to go to this place all the time but after ordering their beef noodle soup and ingesting so much oil into my body, I was over it. If you're looking for something that won't make you sick though, I would definitely recommend their taiwanese chicken nuggets, their hotpots, and their exotic bubble tea flavors. The service is decent and the portions are a bit on the small side depending on what you order, but overall it's a great place for comfort food and very family oriented.

This place is pretty good. I come here a lot with friends and my family, usually for the drinks and for a quick bite whenever we're craving some fried Asian food. I think the food is the only highlight of this place. The restaurant could occasionally use some cleaning, and the service is lackluster. Most of the staff lack enthusiasm and are just working for their hourly wage.<br/><br/>The bubble tea and their other drinks are great, however, which compensates for most of the issues here. Everything is blended well, and they offer a wide array of toppings you can add to your drink. Fairly priced and relatively large in size, there really isn't anything to complain about when it comes to their drinks.<br/><br/>The highlight for me in terms of food is their salty-peppery chicken nuggets. I love that stuff when I'm craving it. It definitely isn't too salty, which is great, and it pairs so well with their rice and seaweed. The acidity you get from the seaweed balances out the fat you get from the fried chicken. The rice mediates everything and ensures you get a balanced bite of food.

I only come here for the bubble tea. The service is almost always terrible but the food isn't too bad. Plus it's one of the only places open so late so giving another star just for that.

Hit and miss. The food seems to vary, some days its good, some days its bad however the bubble tea seems to be quite consistent. The service here could use some work, the waiters are generally unfriendly and inattentive so be prepared to wait a bit for service and your food. They only take cash here and it's quite busy during peak hours so expect a line! Order take out if you have to. Overall, its a pretty decent place and I would come again for the fish fillet.

Very poor service and food. Went there on weekend early evening ,got our seats right away. Me and my boyfriend ordered pineapple shrimp balls and beef tendon brisket with eggplant along with the three combined marinated dish and a papaya slush. When the first pineapple shrimp come we noticed it didn't come with rice or side dish which I clearly said I wanted add combo in the beginning . So I asked the server and she said as she was annoyed " you didn't say that before " me and my bf looked at each other surprisingly and thought we had two main dishes and we just eat it without rice? I know some people would do that but man we were pretty hungry and we want a complete meal, and if you insisted we didn't say in the beginning you should've also request if we want to add rice and side dish as an combo like the other servers do when I was there last time and same like other bubble world chain. So after that I was like nevermind just some rude service, but I also found out the tendon beef brisket and eggplant had no brisket in them.. it was only tendon and eggplant.. so why is it called beef tendon and brisket when it doesn't have brisket?I was going to tell the sever but my bf said forget about it...I was also surprised by red bean topping I added in the slush, it was only cooked unsweetened dry chunks instead of sweetened tender ones . Overall was totally not satisfied by the service and food !

Their food isn't very good, and their service isn't very good. The servers never pay attention to you and are standoffish. Their bubble tea is okay.

Disgusting service. Oh wait, THERE's absolutely none here. Our server, Clarice, Asian girl with the died blonde hair that looks like big bird was fcking rude af. She slammed our utensils onto our table, gave a look dirtier than a single 45 year old man's toilet, then proceeded to walked away. Our order was messed up and it took half an hour for the proper dish to come. I will say the bubble tea here is good and the food is cheap. Too bad service is RUBBISH. I will go on to Bubble Waffle a few doors down instead.

Food is hit and miss but the bubble tea is typically consistent and good here. However, the major issue is the service. You are literally transparent in the eyes of the servers here. Took them 15 minutes to get us menus and 10 more minutes to get napkins and chopsticks, and they didn't even give us enough... No side plates for the food items even though it was obvious we were sharing and no concern about how it was going for us. The place isn't even busy either....

The food can be hit or miss- sometimes its great and sometimes i want to throw it away. The service could definitely use improvement. The bubble tea is what makes this place worth it. I can always get solid bubble tea from here.

Worse experience ever. The waitresses was so rude and ignored me for 5 min before they gave me a table. It was not even busy and they were just talking to each other. The bubble tea tasted so bad. It tasted so sour that it seems like it was old. I would recommend people to go to pearl fever☆ instead and for the food to just go to a Chinese restaurant. Garbage place table and Menu smell rot. If you dont trust me go try for your self.

We loved the bubble tea here! Order a taro milk tea with 1/2 pearls and coconut jellies and also a lychee & strawberry slushy, both with coconut jellies. They were yummy!! We didn't know they also serve food. They have noodle dishes, spam, egg and fried rice and snack food like chicken wings and such. Have to come back here next time we visit! Chiao!!

We love the salty peppery chicken nuggets!!! We're also really happy that they stopped charging for garlic sauce: big win! For just a few more dollars, you can get a noodle soup combo which comes with a big bowl of beef broth and udon noodles.

I was thinking about ordering the "Fruity Beef w/ Rice" or the "Orange Osmanthus Pork" off of their new menu but my dad was like "Stop eating weird stuff!! That's why you're as skinny as a rat!! Why can't you eat normal food?" LOL!! What's normal food to you dad? "Well, I tried ordering it anyway but the waitress said those dishes weren't available! :(

Although the drinks are consistently good, and they offer some of the latest trends such as milk cap tea and butterfly pea flower tea, the food is hit or miss. The rice that accompanies combos tends to be awful leftover rice, hardened almost like plastic. The regular noodle soup is now offered as an alternative for combos - it's a good portion but rather light in flavour with overtone of daikon in the soup - I much prefer Bubble 88's normal noodle soup. The fried fish fillet is a definite recommendation though. Hot pot is pretty good but the spicy one is quite greasy with not much distinct taste.<br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend their beef noodle though and it's sad it isn't what it was when it first opened. The soup used to be made of spicy soybean paste which gave it a miso-like texture with tender, fat beef now the beef is just chunky and the soup is just basically soy sauce.<br/> <br/><br/>GET:<br/>Fried Fish Fillet<br/>Black Pepper Sauce w/ Chicken Fillet<br/>Seafood chow mein<br/>Milk foam tea<br/><br/>Meh:<br/>Beef Noodle and most other noodle soups<br/><br/>AVOID:<br/>Mentaiko Udon - just udon in butter sauce with mentaiko on top. Totally agree with the review below. Asked questions about a menu item and two waitresses both give DIRTY look and said 'it is what it says on the menu'. What the. Go learn how to serve people and study your menu first if you are doing a job as a waitress.

Bad experience. Went with a group of friends, and i couldnt get up so I told her to take my money and pay for my order too, when we left they said we havent paid for one drink when clearly did, so they made a big scene and stopped us. They made is pay another $5 for a drink that we have paid already. The workers all gave us a dirty look afterwards

Disappointed. I've been going to this store for years since I live closeby. Every time I go the service is terrible. You're either ignored or asked to wait for 20-30 mins to receive service. The only reason I go there still is because it's the only place open until 2am near my house. I just got home from getting a warm tofu dessert and let me just start of by saying that when I got there, I was ignored for 5 mins, and then a whole family walked in the store and so the employee finally attended to us but guess what! she helped the big family first. And after she finished with them I looked at her annoyingly and she snapped back, what? Can I help you? And I was like well yeah I want to order. And so she took my order and told me that they had run out of pearls so they can't put any in my tofu dessert and asked me if jelly is okay in it and so I said ok. Anyway I got home and my tofu dessert is half empty and doesn't even have jelly. Absolutely unacceptable

Bad service and the health issue of the food quality---no a joke

Convenient. My greentea bubble tea and my friend's taro bubble tea tasted good. I wouldn't order any kitchen food tho.

My experience here was decent. The place is a really nice spot to gather friends and get your grub on to have a good time. The music is a plus. The service was okay. We had to give eye contact at the server just to place our order which took 5 minutes. I ordered takoyaki, kung pao shrimp balls and a milky oreo slush with pearls. The bubble tea was in a giant mug with a straw and plastic spoon that really makes you full from just that. They added one oreo cookie to top it off. It was smooth and very tasty. Similar to Mcdonald's Mcflurry but with more oreo. The pearls were perfect. Chewy and cooked perfectly. Our food came in about 5 - 7 minutes after the time we ordered. The takoyaki was very very tasty. However they went a little bit too heavy on the bonito flake. The takoyaki had a crisp shell that i've never had on any other takoyaki. I liked it. The kung pao shrimp balls weren't shrimp balls. They were straight up shrimp which i didn't mind because i love shrimp. I expected the sauce to be thicker with more shrimp than there was green onions, onions, and peppers. It was decent. I wouldn't order again though. The rice that came with it was pretty good. Nice, sticky and easy to pick up with chopsticks. There were two other sides. There was a vegetable one that i didn't know what it was and some other curry like side with tofu and chicken. I didn't really pay attention to them. This place is pretty good with price. $8 for kung pao. $5 for takoyaki and another $5 for a giant mug of bubble tea. Gets you real full too. I would come back.

Awful services. I called in today to order take out, someone told me to wait for a min., but I actually I waited over 10min. Still no one pick up the phone talk to me so I hang up the phone. I drave over to the restaurant made my orders. I asked the server why they did not pick the phone she simply told me they are too busy today!!! I will never go to that restaurant again!!!!!

Terrible Service. I visited Bubble World last night with a group of friends. I haven't come here in over a year and I clearly remember why: the service is terrible. The waitresses are rude and do not do their job properly. They did not come to check up on us when we needed napkins and a menu. My friend asked for a sauce and it came 10 min later. The servers run around like their head is chopped off and ignore the customers.<br/><br/>I will not be returning and they have again raised their menu prices. The saltery peppery chicken nuggets was once $5.95 and has now been raised to $7.95 and the portions seem to have gotten smaller. <br/><br/>Next time we will be going to Bubble 88 in Surrey Central

Worst service I have ever seen!. I took my sister and nephew here for bubble tea as they were visiting from out of town.....worst mistake ever! I was sitting in the front waiting for them, as I was waiting I saw them get served (they only ordered 2 bubble tea) after they were served 3 other couples came in after them and all 3 of those couple walked out while my sister and nephew are still waiting. So I decided to go in and ask the lady what was taking so long? She went to check the menu on the screen and ask this other girl than the other girl came back with there bubble tea and gave it to them. I asked that girl why there were 3 other couple that came in after them and left before them? The girl said that there are 2 different sides that are working in the back and that is why. I said that it is not a good enough reason for 3 couples to walk in after and walk out before when all my sister ordered was 2 bubble tea. Than she walked off speaking her language. I will not give them any further business as well as everyone I speak to will be told about this and that is how you lose business. On the other hand they probably dont care about service and making customers happy which is why I will tell everyone I know not to go there. (I believe that there is a racial issue)

Bubble world. Very good place to go if you are looking for a place to at late night. A huge drink selection and a food menu is why I like coming to this place. The only concern is the service. Usually is good, but at times they are just filled with terror and error. Overall I still come back to this place because it is convenient if you want food and bubble tea.

I like it here.. I generally like Bubble World because of the cheap price and decent amount of food. a con would be their washroom, could use a clean up every hour or so. i usually like to deep fried squid tentacles and deep friend nuggets along with green tea milk tea. great place to hangout at night when you and friends need a place to eat when you're out. will always come back again :)

New Chef?. I love Bubble World & I've been a regular customer for years. The portions seem to have gotten smaller & everything tastes too bland or too much.. It just isn't the same anymore and it's quite upsetting. I will definitely come back because Bubble World is a favorite but... I really do hope they go back to how things were before.

Great price and flavored. A great selection of flavored and consistency for bubble tea! Must try if you like bubble tea. Will be back next week for their lychee bubble tea-very refreshing!

A Keeper. The Bubble World chain is great. The food is pretty consistent and the prices are very fair. It's one of the only places to get real Taiwanese at a take-out price in Surrey. <br/><br/>But the service is and always has been the worst I have ever experienced. SO VERY BAD. Bait and switch. So the "new" menu listed in the window apparently has the "old" prices. When informed, the waitress told us she would speak with the manager. She did, and then did not return to the waiting area, nor did the manager. They sent out an employee who arrived two minutes before with our order (to go) so that no one had to address the issue.<br/>Food is pretty much what you'd expect (at the "old" prices).

Dont know about the waitresses but the food.. Its just plain. I liked the kimchi rice but other than that, just plain chinese food. Not bad. It's funny people say service suck since this is a Chinese place. if u wave the waitress gets what u want fast. can't complain. As for food the sweet butter toast is amazing but the beef noodle sucks. The nuggets are pretty good too! Great joint for surrey! Would not do well in other places with more competition

In and Out. Bubble world is a place to grab a quick bite. Love there kung-pao chickens that comes with rice and side dishes. Terrible service like everybody else says. Once we had to wait for over an hour and our food still did not came out yet. Waitress forgot to punch in our order. WTF. There was no management on site to talk to. The waitress did not even say sorry but just gave us a bitchy face.

Bubble tea just so so. With a name like bubble world you would think they would have good bubble tea. But that was not the case. We got 3 different flavours and we all agreed they were sub par.

I'm HOME!!. Ah yes.. so far this is my Fav. Taiwanese place.. I'm sure there are others, but this is a must Go to place whenever i visit Hongcouver. Bubble tea...is perfect.. Food is perfect.. Service ... well its like Taiwan..what you expect?? It also cost a bit... Hey BUBBLE WORLD... if you are reading this... do me a favor and open a branch in Calgary. I'd be your NUMBER ONE FAN.

Authentic taiwanese cuisine, but pricey drinks. Service not so great, but quality of good is pretty good. Good for young people to chat and just have lunch or dinner, and also great for to-go drinks.

Great hang out, good food, terrible service. If you're looking for a fairly cheap hang out place with friends then this is a great place to go. The atmosphere is quite hip and "modern" so keep that in mind. The food is overall quite good, serving authentic Taiwanese dishes and good bubble tea and drinks. The drinks are quite expensive though. The one down side is the service is terrible! It's slow, the waitresses look like they don't want to be there, and are at times rude. Overall, it's the food and atmosphere that i keep coming back for; not the service.

Good for hangout~. Hip place for young people. It's great for hangouts with friends. If you want take outs, I recommend calling ahead as there is limited amount of space to sit at the entrance. The price is also appropriate.

...not everything on the menu is tasty so you have to be careful (or just try and fail like me) usually their deep fried items are very hard to miss noodles being more tricky but the fried rice selections are generally good this is half of their taro bubble tea it is usually served in a bigger glass cup but if you ask, you can get them to split it into two cups which is nice when you want to share with somebody else their bubble tea is on quite sweet side although most bubble teas are but you can ask them to make it half sweet and they are quite flexible in this In my preference, their milk teas are better that fruity ones although I am not saying their bad,

I ordered the Plain Noodle with Bean Sprout and Meat Sauce for $4.95. Although it was cheaper, the portion was bigger than the beef noodle. It looked plain, yet, surprisingly, quiet flavourful.
