Normally the food here is awesome but today it's all very bland, no taste disappointing. Sweet and sour sauce tastes really weird. I won't come here for a while. Stopped half way through couldn't even eat it 😑😑 very disappointed I usually love this place.

Looked up best Chinese restaurant near me. First off it’s hard to find, the canopy for the restaurant is gone. It’s beside the sushi restaurant and in hind sight I wish we went there.
Got the number 2 combo with almond chicken pork fried rice and sweet and sour pork.
The rice and pork were decent ,but nothing special.
The almond chicken though, was really soggy on the bottom and not crispy at all on top.

Am all for supporting local restaurants but what a let down. The chicken szechuan wasn't really spicy and basically in soup. Everything kind of tasted the same note.
The biggest let down and thing that really pisses me off is the sweet and sour chicken balls!! So much batter and barely any chicken inside. A lot were empty inside, so no chicken. What a rip off!!

First time trying this restaurant last night, I was totally fulfilled. It wasn't too greasy, the flavors were good, the vegetables weren't overcooked. No stomach ache at all. I even had some for lunch today. 👌 I will be going back again. My meal was $2 more than I thought, here's a updated menu .

If you're looking for decent Chinese takeout this little family run spot in cloverdale is a safe bet. We ordered the buddha's feast, beef with black been sauce, house special fried rice, corn soup, and hot and sour soup. Everything was tasty and good price point for quality of food.

Best take out available in the local area. The one tip I have is to order early, and keep trying if the line is busy. There is a good reason why they are always busy :)

Had one of the special rolls. My thoughts not that great hard to pick up with chop sticks. The roll was cut too small and not that taste.

As a group of 9 ,we agreed the food tasted great,each dish was served about 5minutes apart which took awhile as we ordered the dinner for 10.only one dish was luke warm,had lots of left overs .Definitely would return.<br/><br/>

Some of the best Chinese food I've had. The rice and chow mien are always popping out the containers they give you so much. The price is great too especially if you pick it up for the 10% off. We found out they did pre-orders for New Years and were planning on having people over so we called the day before and ordered. When I showed up at my select time I waited 5 min for it and left. They are great all around. I recommend the ginger beef so freaking good.

Went for lunch. Super cheap and heaping portions. Decor leaves a little to be desired, but the service is friendly and the food is good. Great value for your money.

Picked up from here several dozen times; never been disappointed. The wait time is usually 25 minutes, though it's been closer to 45 a few times when they're short staffed or overwhelmed with orders. The staff have always been friendly. The food comes in big portions. It's excellent, simple, can't-go-wrong comfort food with fresh ingredients (really baffled that another reviewer compared them to Ming and Sing). The dinner combos are a good deal. Keep in mind that it's takeout/delivery only (10% off $20+ orders if you pick up).

No dine in available. Have to order 45 minutes ahead of time or wait for 45 min....went there 18:30.not sure why it takes so long. Suggest to call before walk in, otherwise starve .

Have been ordering food from Dragon Village for about 15 or more years. Never had a problem. They do close once in awhile for holidays, but thats there choice. Make sure you are plain about what you want in your order. Usually deliver before the time they quote. Prices are reasonable, food is good. Its always hot and pretty tasty.  It is not Master Chef but you will enjoy. You can also ask for larger portions than the Menu show. $45.00 to $50 is normal but worth it.

Just called there today and received the worst service I have had calling for food. First they told me it was an hour and a half wait and (no problem ) but they were basically trying to discourage me from ordering next they said they weren't sure if they could deliver to my area even though I know they do. Finally after deciding my address was ok to deliver too and taking my order they tell me my order isn't enough money and (it was $40) I had to order $55 to get delivery total BS.

No taste to the food, it was so bland. The Szechuan chicken was full of celery and no chicken, the chow mien noodles had no taste at all. I would rather go to Ming and Sing fast food joint, at least they have taste to there food

YUMMY!. Definitely not the best place to eat in, but the best Chinese food in town! For the amount and quality of the dishes, I'm definitely visiting this place again and again! If you're ordering takeout on weekends, be sure to phone in, they're usually really busy... I didn't phone in one time, and had to wait quite some time for my food. (Nonetheless it was worth it!)

Awesome Family Weeknight Meal. Have been ordering from here for three years now always fresh, hot and not greasy. You can't complain about prices the dinner for two feeds five and still some for lunch. I used to share my love of Chinese food around to the other restaurants in the area but no longer this is the one for me. If you're looking for something a little different with a bit more spice try the ginger beef and a steamed rice for 12 bucks can't go wrong

I go for the Ginger Beef which is the best in the Vancouver area. It is like Calgary Ginger Beef.

The place is mainly a take out restaurant, they have put no money into the decor. Â Based on the look of the interior and nothing else we would have walked but we trusted the good rating on Urbanspoon and stayed. Â When I looked into the kitchen I could see where they put their money. Â The kitchen is bigger and better set up than most mid sized Chinese restaurants kitchens I have seen. Initially it was only going to be Sheila, Stephen. Max and myself, but Catherine, Ben and Daniel met up with us there so we were six and a half for dinner. We ordered based on only three and half of us eating and ordered the dinner for three and added to that their ginger beef and dry garlic spareribs.
