Review Calgary Sweets - Surrey

Food was decent but the experience was ruined with how poorly my item was package. Absolutely no thought behind how the food would travel. I ordered the samosa plate and they threw all of it together into a paper container!!!! By the time my food reached home the cholay were leaking out everywhere and the container got squished they threw the samosas into the same container so instead of nice crispy Samosas it was all a soggy congealed mush. DISAPPOINTED to say the least.

It’s not the first time that i faced problem with my order. Today I ordered veg. Pakora and it was raw. The service in this restaurant is very bad they made me wait for 10 mints even after ordering on phone. One time the staff gave channa bhathura instead of channa khulcha… they are really very unprofessional…!!!! After giving them so many chances to improve, this was the only option left. I am very disappointed and will never recommend it.

We have been a regular customer at this restaurant and take out food several times and it was good. But last time we have ordered certain dishes and found out that it turn out to be the opposite to what we have ordered. The girl over the phone who took the order never bothered to clarify us about the particular food which they don't serve but have them in menu. And they suppose customer to understand on its own. So really bad service and will never recommend them to anyone.

I'm always told their Jalebi is fresh, but always tastes stale. I wish they wouldn't sell this to customers just to get rid of it. The girl at the counter is always pleasant and gives her full attention when it's your turn.

Most terrible experience at this restaurant, I ordered Paneer kulcha and 1 samosa, samosa was fine but paneer kulcha had an awful taste with zero spices in it. When I told them, I did not like it as it is not according to my taste. Instead of saying that , they will prepare another one, the owner told me, they cannot. Such a poor customer service. These people doesnt' even know how to speak to their customers. Such a rude behavior and girls working there have no common sense how to react and talk to their customers. I did not even eat kulcha, guess what???!!! they still charged me full money and did not even cared to prepare another one. Wish I could give them zero stars. Don't go at this restaurant guys such a waste of money !!!!

Best samosas i have ever had since i came to Canada.The shop is small and elegant.

The worst customer service ever. Never seen such a rude staff. The lady who answered the phone was so rude and all she had to say is "this is how we make tea and we can't do anything". Tea that they gave us was only boiled water that tasted bitter. worst experience ever.

My mom and sister joined me for parathas today and it was delicious! Our server was very friendly and efficient. Thank you!

I got the vegetarian butter chicken and it was awesome! Definitely coming back!

food was fantastic numer 1 best.customer survice was on point very good.The owner is a very hard working person lots of respect. I highly suggest the samosas and paneer pakora.

Best place for Vegetarians.. Samosa with chana & all types of champ( veg chicken) are must try. For biryani lovers Veg chicken Biryani is the best one..nice people to deal with..

Best place to have the veggie food. Affordable prices.Chole and samosas is one of my favourite dish at Calgary sweets.Some of there sweets are best.

Fresh cooked to order. We had 10 Samosas, and 2lb of Vegetable Pakora to take out. It did take about 25 minuets but its is all cooked to order, and it did taste very good. The eat in restaurant was busy and while I was there, lots of people collected orders they had called in, so thats the best way to go. Its a 100% Vegetarian.

Calgary sweets was one of the best. Family favorite! Now I wait "15" min for 12 samosas and get only 11 they tell me to wait 5 min for the last one and I actully waited 20 min!!!! Today I called to see what time they are open till twice they hung up on me no bye no answer terrible service wish they had the old owners never go there find a better place they just want money and give no good service
