Great food and staff was very kind. We had two good experiences there and we'll be back soon.

Okay, so this place went from super good many years ago, to really bad a few years back, and now back to really good again. Hope their kitchen staff stick around this time! Hash was crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Same with the waffles. Food is well seasoned. 4.5 ⭐

Food was really good, we were served by a lovely Asian lady. She went above and beyond to make sure we are enjoying our food and coffee, there is a new lady who was working there. We asked for a glass of water to the new lady and ended up waiting 20 mins for a glass of water, and then after 20 mins she remembered our glass of water and brought only one glass of water for 2 of us. Other than this our experience was really nice, this was our first time visiting this location. Good luck!

Every time we come here it’s seems to be intentionally understaffed or miss managed. The service is poor, we were constantly walked by without being checked on. Served without a word. At most establishments by the time I’m ready to order we’ve at the very least been asked about drinks, then they come by to ask if we’re ready to order and my partner always needs extra time. But even my partner had time to decide on what they wanted before they’d even bothered to ask what we wanted to drink. Not worth the price for the service :/

It's so dark in there. Doesn't feel at all welcoming. Wasn't busy at all. On a Sunday brunch time. One server and bus staff. Bare minimum service. Menus looked like they were wiped with a dirty cloth. Took orders, brought food, brought the debit machine. Didn't have to ask fora coffee refill. Food was okay, but red onions on cubed hash browns? If I choose Ricky's again it will be the Fleetwood restaurant.

My friend and I cane for breakfast this morning and we were not greeted when we walked in no one was at the front counter, it took 25 mins before anyone even bothered to bring us silverware. The experience at your restaurant was horrible. I paid with interactive and for whatever reason it cancelled on me then the hostess blamed me saying I pressed the wrong button which I did not because I know how to use a debit machine. I gave no tip because of the bad experience. I'll never come back.

Extremely rude staff,charged double for one eggs Benny, asked for the manager, wouldn't give me a number,will tell every single person I know to never go there,and I will never be back to that hole ever!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch when in Central City, Surrey. Fish and chips was really delicious and a large serving - glad I only ordered the one piece! Place was quiet, server was lovely

Rickies has lost a loyal customer yesterday. I have been going there for years! Unfortunately, recently a few times they have messed up my order and didn’t take it personal until yesterday one of the servers grabbed the piece of steak that I wanted medium well, (came out rare) with her hand and then gave back the same piece of steak that was re-cooked to medium well with her bare hands!! Gross much!! You walk around dealing with money from bills and germs from god knows where all day please don’t touch my food with your hands

Food came fast and not to hot for my little man!

The food is ok. I had 2 eggs with hash browns, ham and toast. The hash browns were dry and the toast was burnt. The service was great and we were checked on regularly.

After going to the Cloverdale location a couple of weeks ago my wife wanted breakfast here. This location does a really good job with limited space but I found it a bit dark. Staff are courteous and attentive, I liked that they kept our water topped up at all times and seemed genuinely friendly. My eggs were fluffy and the vegetables were sautéed perfectly. The Bavarian Sausage was also very nicely fried with just enough scorching as to be pleasant. The shredded hash browns were a bit dry however, like there was insufficient oil in the pan to get them their golden brown finish. The toast was also a touch burned and seemed to have sat too long before getting buttered. I was also disappointed with how my wife’s eggs were plated. They looked like they were thrown onto the plate in a hurry instead of deliberately placed. overall I would say I was neither disappointed nor overly excited about this location but the fact staff treated us well is a huge thing for me.

I went in to the restaurant to eat and have coffee and read my book as I always do.  I've enjoyed coming here often to relax and enjoy a meal.  I had been in the restaurant for about 2 hours and I was approached by the manager to leave and he stated that I had been their too long.  He said 3 hours was too long to be sitting there.  Firstly, I was only there for 2 hours at this point.  He then proceeded to tell me that it was at his discretion on how long i was to be allowed to stay in the restaurant.  I asked him if there was a time limit on how long I could stay and all he answered was "you've been here too long".  needless to say I was shocked and embarrassed and I left in tears.  <br/><br/>Even though countless people talk this restaurant down I continued to go there as it was relaxing for me and it is in my neighborhood.  I will never go back here again.  I also need to mention that the food isn't what it used to be as I got sick after eating here.  Not certain if its the bad customer service they have or bad food prep by the kitchen that disgusts me more.

The service here is great. The staff are friendly. The price is not fair for the food that comes out of that kitchen. I ordered a steak cooked medium rare. Came out dry and we'll done. I had to cut into different parts of the steak to look for juice. Nothing.i sent the steak back and asked for rare this time.they send back the rarest steak like it's never been on the grill lol. I really hope they are not like this those other times.i was disapointed i didnt go to knight and day restaraunt instead.But what ever I ate it. Hate it.paid it. Never come back here again.

The great service is all that saves this from being a complete failure. The food is poorly cooked (how do you not know how to properly poach an egg?) and the drinks are weak. White Spot is the better choice by far.

The only reason I'm giving this place any stars is because I love their chirizo brekkie bowl. The service sucks and it's so freaking cold in the place. Would just go have the bowl and bounce.

Ricky's All Day Grill has a location in City Central Mall in Surrey. After class, a few of us got really hungry, so we came here to chow down. They have a lot of items on their menu, so you might be able to find something that will fill your food cravings. The first thing we noticed was that the utensils were really really dirty! So, we asked for new ones. The second sets were also quite dirty! We didn't bother asking for another set of utensils since if they can't get it right the 2nd time, we didn't have high hopes that it would be any cleaner. I think they just didn't dry properly. I'm sure this happens at most restaurants, but it's still kinda gross. Best to grab a cup of water and start cleaning your utensils….Asian style. I had a late Friday night and got out of bed at 1:30PM. I had planned to do some errands at Surrey Place. I wanted to look at picking up Nikon micro (macro) lens and test it out right away. I'm really glad there's a Broadway Camera so close to me now. I picked up the Nikon 60mm f/2.8G ED AF-S Micro-Nikkor and went straight to the closest place to eat, which was Ricky's All Day Grill. I was also craving eggs and breakfast food too, so it was convenient. By now it was about 5:30PM lol.. My friend and I started with spinach artichoke dip. For some reason it was really, really good - maybe because we were so hungry. They heated the chips, they had a oily sheen to it - were they freshly fried? Probably not, but they were nice and crisp. The spinach and artichoke dip was really cheesy and creamy with spinach and artichoke bits here and there.
