Review Mongolie Grill - Surrey

Went here for a birthday dinner last week. Hadn’t been here in a while but its a good place if your looking to eat something that is healthy. You get complimentary soup to start your meal and there are a few options for that. Then you go and pick out what you want to eat. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. We had a great time here.

Great place to eat healthy!! Pick and all grilled up in front .. been long since I came here but wow the atmosphere is nice to sit - great for any special events as such! Friendly staff and cozy! We need more like this place in Surrey side ! But worth the drive!!

I was very disappointed in the food, I don’t know what all the hype was about, they overcooked the chicken that I ordered and there soups not so great either, the shrimp had a weird aftertaste.. the staff was nice tho but not good enough for me to go back there

A cool atmosphere and experience. The service wasn't great and forgot our drinks a couple of times. The food is pretty tasty and the variety of ingredients makes for some cool combinations. One thing that kind of put me off was how bad the rice was. Maybe it was an old batch but it was really thick, clumpy, and mushy. Would be four stars for a better price.

Let's start with the exemplary service as we walked through the door; We we're greated like family. As we were seated the server explained the unique method of ordering, very cool a must try the options and combinations are endless. The prices are quite fair the more you get the more you pay it's done by weight. The service was very quick, got our drinks immediately after we sat down. Paying was quick and painless despite splitting the bill three ways. I would recommend you eat here you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant is clean, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The soup is horrible! Seriously I have no idea why they even bother it is so so bad! The corn chowder tastes like they opened a can of cream corn and added water. The hot and sour is gummy and just tastes disgusting. The rest of food you pick and they cook it for you. The ingredients appear to be fresh and you have a lot of choices. I don't eat rice but I love the wrap stuff. All in all a fun experience, not expensive if you are conscious of how much you pile in your bowl. Just stay away from the soup!

Decent fresh food, very good service today, and the place is open and clean. Cool kind of system, you choose the raw ingredients from a sort of buffet and the cook stir frys it up for you, so it's always fresh and exactly what you meant to order. Fantastic for people with dietary restrictions. Also if you can guess the exact price of your meal (by weight) they give you a $15 gift certificate towards your next meal, my sister's boyfriend did it today so I can attest that it's possible! Always a pretty good experience here.
