Must try - onion rings! Yummy! Craved this one during my first trimester 😄 their food is also ok and it’s run by the family. We haven’t returned yet recently but we will surely be back for more food! Husband loves the egg benny btw 😂

Hidden gem for breakfast food. The decor is homey, but the food is delicious. The seafood benny with stuff hash is delicious. Great value and service. A must try!

First time here was a great experience. Came in at 8am to a peaceful atmosphere. The owners were friendly and very sweet. I had the avocado tomato and bacon eggs benny, and it was delicious! Didn't get a pic of the fruit cup but it was a wide variety of fresh fruit arranged in an artful manor.

They have a promotion going on called the early bird special so I got 10% off my meal for checking out before 9:30.

I'll definitely be back and strongly recommend.

Came for brunch with a couple of family members on an early Sunday morning. Jasna Cafe is very much a family run restaurant, we saw the daughter working as a host/server and the rest of the family working in the back of house. The three of us all sympathized, working at our own family's business when we were younger.

There was kid's artwork on the walls. The cafe was very much an old sushi restaurant in it's recent past and converted into a cafe with some paint. It's a very plain space but clean. The service was okay- pleasant.

Overall the food was good and had good portions for the value. We all had eggs benny, which were cooked nicely. The Hollandaise sauce was okay. I would have liked the hashbrowns a little more crusty. The fruit cups were fresh and had a good variety of fruit. It's not a bad little place and breakfast here is better than at a chain restaurant!

After reading reviews we just had to try it and we're not disappointed. Delicious, not greasy breakfast with a huge serving of fruit... *drool*. We'll be back!

I live in Whalley area and I want to support local businesses. I thought this place was overall pretty good; great alternative to the whitespot nearby. My experience today made me signup for an urbanspoon account to help them out, hopefully people in the area would try this place out.
I had the seafood benedict - but I honestly think they should get rid of this menu item and try other types of eggs benedict. This dish has avocadoes, shrimp, smoked salmon, and crab. The problem was that the seafood ingredients weren't great - smoked salmon was the cooked, flaky type, not the kind you have in sushi places; shrimp was the tiny ones you find in frozen bags; crab was pollack imitation crab. The hollandaise was really good though. I'm no expert at hollandaise sauce but it seems that it not supposed to taste like that. Its almost like cheese sauce and i love it, lol. I ordered a fruit cup option instead of hash (no extra charge) and I was so pleasantly surprised to eat a piece of guava! I can't guarantee that it'll always be there, but it shows how they care enough to make it better! Plus, the serving was bigger than whitespots' fruit cups. Next time Ill order the regular eggs benedict.
My husband had the chicken burger and he was given the option to make it spicy. I had a bite of it and it was yummy! Its like the KFC spicy burger without the corporate guilt because it was homemade. It also had spicy mayo, seems like tht used the cock sauce (my term for sriracha, lol).
They have other unusual items on the menu - curry rice bowl, chicken stir fry other than the burgers and breakfast.
The store itself has its own personality, its not trying to be anything. It has amateur paintings, it felt like I was in someone's house. The booths are like sushi resto booths, maybe it was a sushi place before. Also it was really weird to see an old-people sit-up bathtub for sale at the entrance, but whatever, I thought it was funny. Older people seem to be regulars here, the server was friendly and knew what they needed. She didn't do the 'how's your food?' routine but I don't care about that personally.
So to sum up, if you're in the area and want some homemade comfort food without the froofroo, try Jasna Cafe!

Good eats, reasonably priced. Always quality, always fast - no fuss, no muss. Jasna's my go-to for late breakfast as I work in Whalley and sometimes, I just want breakfast at 2pm. This place never lets me down.

Hidden Jem. Jasna has the best breakfast around whalley, and at a very reasonable price. The hollandaise for the Benny's is nearly the best I have ever tasted.

The fish and chips are awesome. Best service ever. The fish came to our table still sizzling. Dylan the owner, very polite. He made my family feel like his family. He really took care of us. Thank you for your great hospitality.
