This is my very first time trying out this restaurant.
The pancakes were delicious and the service was fantastic. I will definitely return here.
I love this place so much. Always want to have my breakfast here when I get the chance. They do a very good job. I once got De Dutch three times in one week once and I wasn't even mad. BECAUSE IT WAS ME WHO KEPT SUGGESTING IT
Great pannekoek! Everyone in our family (7) enjoyed their meals and were satisfied with the portions. Highly recommend the peach Melba and kids "fruit loop" for fun.
If you want an authentic Dutch Panekoek (Huge crepe) this is the absolute most authentic that I've found. The burgers are good too but there is no fries option. There are at least 6 kinds if grilled cheese sandwiches (Called "Toasties") on the menu and the omelettes are really good. The place is in an odd location attached to an auto repair shop but it's worth looking for. Not cheap but a worthwhile treat.
Recently, my friends and I have been talking about grabbing a hearty breakfast at De Dutch Pannekoek House before we head to snowboarding. That plan didn't work out because they don't open early enough (8am) for us to eat and make it to the mountains on time, so we went on a off snowboarding day instead. Every time I visit a De Dutch, I always end up ordering a sweet Pannekoek, this time there was no exception, and I munched on a Banana Maple Walnut Pannekoek. The Banana Maple Walnut pannekoek was prepared like a banana pancake with the bananas cooked within the batter. It was a very sweet dish because there was a good amount of icing sugar, and there were the sweetness from the bananas. There were pockets of crunchy walnuts, I liked this quite a bit. My friend got his favorite, the #4 Hash Pannekoek . The hash had mushrooms, green peppers, bacon, onions, hash browns, and cheddar. It was hearty, but not overly heavy. First time trying it got iced coffee and Mediterranean omelette was so yummy highly recommended
This is my go-to brunch spot in Surrey! Generally, we receive good service and excellent food. At times, there can be some delays with seating and being served but overall, it's a must-visit location.
