Not sure if this is true of all locations but the beef brisket was quite stiff and dry. Not the worse but it definitely wasn't juicy. The steak meat was quite tender though. Soup was excellent - it was on the greasy side but seemed to have little or no MSG as I wasn't extremely thirsty after finishing it.
was in the neighbourhood and saw this restaurant and was trying to compare to the one in langley so came in, and true enough didn't dissapoint, the pho on steroid like goodness is also present in here, the selection of meat is very tender and fatty, the soup is more on the fatty side as well, but it's all good enjoyable.
Best pho in Surrey and surrounding areas. Fresh ingredients and consistent quality. We go here regularly because we know we will leave satisfied.
Just one meal there at lunchtime but a real gem. Do not allow exterior to put you off. Excellent food, fast and efficient service with good value. I will return!
The pho here is amazing! The broth is extremely flavourful and delicious. They serve you extremely fast and the food comes within minutes. The waiters are not too friendly but i feel its probably a language barrier.
I love it! Yummy food, reasonable price & great ambiance! I highly recommend Pho Tau Bay! :)
I go here for lunch with my boyfriend and we both agree it's delicious with good service! 49 is my fave.
Best pho I've ever had! Great ambience!
By far the best pho I have ever had. It's really nice inside, very clean, glass wall that divides the kitchen and dining area which I love at any restaurant! Food is very delicious, and fresh!
Pho Tau Bay has awesome service, really good food... Cleanest Pho restaurant in Surrey, BC.
The broth for this new location is on par, if not better, than the original guildford location. That was a nice surprise. The interiors are new and chic complete w an open kitchen. The chairs are nice and comfy. Even the bathrooms are nice. Service was fast and friendly.
The only thing i could say that was not as good as the original location, is the filling for the wontons in the wonton noodle soup. The texture is tougher and the shrimp are few and far between.
I’m so glad that our beloved Pho Tau Bay opened a second location in Surrey. The new location opened this month is a lot nicer than the old place. When the owner told me about this place a week ago, he promised that the food will be the same, and he was right. I ordered a Rare Steak and Tripe Pho , the bowl of noodles looks identical to the ones you’d get at the orginal Pho Tau Bay . There was tons of scallions, onions and cilantro, there’s a lot of meat and the soup base was just as delicious as the original location. They did a really good job on keeping the consistency and quality of their food. This place is located at a much more convient location for their customers, myself included. It is bigger, nicer and cleaner. I’d be visiting this place more than I already do now. [Show as slideshow] [View with PicLens]
