Visited the King George location. Hubby & I loved the food we got today! Lentil soup and veggie plate was hot, filling and delicious! So happy to see vegetarian & vegan items! Will be back for more :)
The food was delicious! Mustafa was amazing at making sure that there was no cross contamination on my sisters gluten free lamb shawarma. He took the extra care to get new ingredients from the back. Amazing service, amazing food!
It is the best Falafel I have had in Vancouver. Crispy, tasty and fresh!
I'm celiac and very rarely feel comfortable eating out. Family is in from out of town and we needed somewhere to go. We stopped by the Crispy Falafel, and Mustafa took such good care while making my lamb shawarma that I will definitely be back!

They're the only affordable place in town who will make a good meal for an AB positive blood type person. The service is pretty good for the most part, they usually hire very friendly people, and the only thing they could do better is replace all the sodium in the meat (Where they buy or get it from.) with sea salt. Thank you guys! God bless you!

Every restaurant should have the word "Crispy" in its name. Every time I have driven by Crispy Falafel since I first saw it, my mouth has watered (sort of a Pavlov's dog thing). Anyway, I finally made it one sunny Sunday, a little after noon. It was not packed but during the time I was there, they did a steady business. There are some booths and tables a long one wall and some stools along the side window. Comfortable and bright inside. Counter service and you pick up your order. No surprise there. The counter people were friendly enough. I ordered a Sojuk Plate (I have never seen that in a Falafel place but this is more of a Lebanese restaurant despite the casual arrangement) which takes 20 minutes so be prepared. It certainly tells me that the skewers are being freshly made. And they were very good. Garlicky and flavored with cumin and spices, they were not overpowering and certainly tender and enjoyable. They came on a considerable bed of perfect Basmati rice, with a refreshing Fattoush Salad, a couple of forgettable pita and very good Hummus. Very nice. I ordered one of their namesake Falafels to go and was later pleasantly surprised. The falafel was crispy! The pita was jammed full of good stuff. There are some other interesting things on the menu that need to be tried. I will be back.
I enjoyed the food specially the chicken shawarma, it is very very good, i have visited a couple of times and would visit more i liked the atmosphere and the staff are so generous and polite
This restaurant was my first time experience and I enjoyed the food ,service and atmosphere, the shawarma was very delicious I and my son enjoyed the shawarma and I loved it very much, it’s highly recommend
Absolutely the best falafel out there it is actually fresh and crispy! every other place I have been since leaves me very disappointed as they all just microwave them and it's just a soggy mess. The staff are always friendly with my boyfriend and I and it's appreciated :)
Oh, if only there was a location in Downtown Vancouver. As time has gone on while I write these reviews, I've become more and more aware of the little details, and previous experiences don't seem as great as they did at that moment. I've had Shawarmas from all over the world, and although this was not the best one, it had an authentic feeling to it. I had a Lamb Shawarma and my parents gave me a falafel from their platter. The donair was pretty good, although my one nitpick with it was that the pickles used were pickled cucumber and not turnips. The falafels were pretty good too. Large size with very little air inside made fresh with, old oil. Falafels are supposed to be golden, and these swayed more towards coffee brown that golden, but the taste was great so it's not a big deal. All in all a good experience.
Always tasty. We go to the King George location whenever we don't feel like cooking and we haven't been disappointed. Last week we popped in to pick up wraps before heading down to the beach and it was the BEST falafel wrap ever! Every bite was better than the last and I wished I had another one even though I was full. My partner had a chicken wrap and was equally pleased.
Super tasty, super affordable, and super quick - Definitely worth going.
Healthy Lebanese food, with some twists. I always enjoy finding Lebanese restaurants when I'm on bike ride, because I know I'll be getting something tasty which won't counteract the weight I'm losing by exercising. This Crispy Falafel -- a younger brother to the one in White Rock -- was no exception. In addition to the namesake falafels and the usual shawarmas, this place offers some items you don't often see here, such as Chicken Arabi (spicy shredded chicken in a tortilla wrap) and Lebanese pizza.
I had another uncommon item in my wrap, kafta (as they spell it), a kind of Middle Eastern meatball. The meat in the wrap had an exotic flavour that just screams "Middle Eastern!" to me -- I think it's allspice. There was an adequate proportion of flattened-out meatball material, the vegetables inside the wrap were fresh, and the whole thing held together as I ate it because it used two lavash breads. It would have been a bit better with some tzatziki or tahini-based dressing, but the veggie slaw kept it moist enough.
This Crispy Falafel is clean inside, has conservatively head-scarved women working so you get that Middle Eastern feel, and the staff is quick. From what I overheard, it was getting a lot of repeat customers who patronize their other place in town, which tells me they're good enough to have gained a following.
Oh my, so good. I got the lamb plate with extra lamb, no hot sauce because I'm a basic b. So dang good. And they gave me a sticker for my clipboard so that gives it an actual sixth star. I love me some good service
True to its name, this place has crispy, airy, inhalable falafels. The wrap was delicious and service great.
Enjoyable shawarma dishes. Friendly staff. Booth seating. Sizable unisex washroom. Limited storefront parking. Only accessible westbound on 24 Avenue, and northbound on King George Boulevard.
Food & service always excellent. Imo it has always improved since it first opened, 8 or 10 years ago. I'm a regular, tasty, healthy to suit every palate, I highly recommend ! Well managed, caring owners and employees! Amen.
Excellent mains but forget about the desserts

Pros:
- Excellent Customer Service: I asked for the staff's recommendation since it's my first time visiting, and she gave a sample of every single meat.
- Excellent value!
- Delicious
- It's made fresh
- Great portion
Cons:
- I’d pass on the dessert next time
- The Lebanese style Baklava: I’m not exactly sure what I had.. almost felt like I ate a sweetened, scrunched up stack of newspaper 📰
- Greek style baklava: They used mostly sugar rather than honey. Sorta crispy but it’s a stale kind of crispy with a chew ☹️
Overall, the shawarma was delicious. The wrap is crispy and it's packed with your choice of meat with a perfect kick of spiciness. Inside it's herby and flavourful with dripping sauce and the perfect ratio of vegetables. I love the lamb shawarma but I'm not a huge fan of their desserts.
Me and my family eat here regularly and it’s one of my go-tos and one of my craves. I’ve had the shawarma plates and the shawarma wraps and both are delicious. If your really really hungry though I would recommend going for the plate as I can sometimes not finish it and save it for breakfast the next day. A total gem if your looking for somewhere good to eat in the are.
