Review Pho Newton - Surrey

I went here for dinner around 7:30 pm. Tge place iS small amd tidy by its own standard. Just no fuzzy and frills place, you come here and eat and go. I have been here before and since I was in the area and hungry, i though i would stop buy for dinner. The Guy attending is not checking of people are vaccinated or not. He did not check me nor the other's that came after me. Anyhow i ordered chicken pho. The soup base was good. I also ordered fried spring roll. It was good but too oily. May be drin the oil a bit more. Overall, it is just a typical Pho place, nothing particularly exceptional on the menu.

This restaurant is now looks a little bit different from before I felt like they have changed management, but the waiter said they are still under the same management. Taste and look of their foods totally different. Anyway, their noodles and spring rolls are still delicious. Highly recommend this place. Don't worry, their price is reasonable.

Absolutely incredible food! I've been going here since I was a kid and the food and service is wonderful. I got shrimp salad rolls and a chicken sub and it is always just perfect!

Waited too long for our food, people who came after us got their order much earlier. Spring rolls I ordered were very small, almost nothing inside. Free green tea was nice, but afer I started drinking it I saw my glass was not clean. Never again.

Family owned restaurant with affordable prices. I've had better broth of pho from other pho restaurants nearby the area but I always enjoy coming here for their great service and pricing. I'm not sure if their hours posted are correct. One time I had came in right when it says they'll be open by and waited 15 minutes, but the restaurant was still closed and no one was inside so I suggest calling the restaurant ahead of time if you're planning on coming in right when they open to see if they actually are open.

My favourite place to get pho. I always get the chicken ball pho (phở gà viên, number 9 on the menu I believe), and I always get chili oil with it.

I been dining here for many many years cause I work close by. The best pho place in surrey hands down. I remember back in the day, a lady would give rice to homeless people that came in that was hungry. Don't know why that small gesture was so memorable for me. But my favs here is beef stew, bun Bo hue, and the house special. Depending on my mood. They always so accommodating to me ordering before I even get there. Much appreciated. You have my business as long as I still work out here haha

It is the best Vietnamese soup I have ever had. My suggestion is to try.I actually met with the owner and interview her about how she is making her soup. “ she told me that she made her soup like 18 hour, and each soup has its own recipe, dependents on how long and which kind.”

This restaurant has been a long-time favourite of my family’s. Recently I went vegetarian and therefore couldn’t eat much on the menu (not their fault though!) but I found out that they added 8 new vegetarian dishes alongside all of their classics! Win for everyone! Thank you!!

Our go-to Pho place. Been going since it opened. Never had a bad meal. Portions are big and tasty, service is fast and cordial, restaurant is clean. My favourites include the salad rolls, pork brochettes, fried spring rolls, won ton soup, and Vietnamese coffee.

I love their Pho and spicy fish on rice but mostly their food are good

Best hot sour seafood vegetable pho in surrey so far. Adapted for non Vietnamese customers. Nice interior. Friendly and prompt service. No language barrier. Generous serving size.

[3.5 stars] I had the pho dac biet (medium) and it hit the spot after a gruelling workout! They are really generous with their meat and gave me an extra plate of bean sprouts, lime and basil since I don’t eat noodles. The broth is quite good, I enjoyed the strong cardamom flavour.<br/><br/>Service was good and overall I enjoyed it!

It seems to be a family business. It's simple and homey. The food is a bit greasy. The taste is an ok for me but not the one that you would want to come back over and over again.

I usually go here for lunch. I'm not a big fan of the phở here, but they make a great com bo luc lac. They are very fast and ready in about 5 to 7 minutes after I place a take out order. Fast and convenient.

This place have some the most delicious special Pho soup in Surrey!<br/>My husband ordered the special duck bamboo Pho and it was so good!<br/>The soup is flavourful and fully with bamboo and duck slices!<br/>The duck meat slices are with bones which is more authentic Asian style!<br/>They use a different type of rice noodle in my husband's soup ( slimmer and round ).<br/>I liked the noodle better then average type of Pho noodle!<br/>Remind me of a similar dish from Taiwan something my Mom cooked!<br/>I haven't seen this Duck& Bamboo Pho soup anywhere else!<br/>I order a spicy seafood Pho soup!<br/>The size was pretty good and I realized that many Pho place had rise their price ( used to be small for $7 or $8 for medium and $9 for big bowl of noodle soup. A lot of them are $ 10 for smaller size and $11 for big one now) HOWEVER,<br/>This place's price is still $9 for a bowl of large size Pho!<br/>Will come back for sure!! :)

had the large pho and it was a large portion with generous amount of meat for 9 dollars. Bowl looked smaller than other places but its packed with goodness. Soup was good, service was great! food came out super quick and the server even refilled my water without asking! (i find that super rare for asian restaurants) Place was really clean. Will definitely return.

I got a medium #1 pho which was loaded with meat! I was very impressed with the serving size. It looks quite comparable to the large. The broth is very tasty - nothing different from other pho restaurants I've been to before. I always get their special Newton sub. It has assorted ham and shredded chicken. My favorite!! They also make some killer lemongrass chicken which is enough for 2 people.

Child labour. I like the food there, but the waitress who took my order was certainly under age 15. It's hard to see a kid working at that age. Not going back to this place for sure.

Its awesome. My mom works at pho newton she the chef she owns it every time its better. we're making new menus

I came to eat with a bunch of friends at dinner time and although it was super busy, the staff didnt mess up a single order. Great food, great service and very clean restaurant.

Decent. I've only been twice but both times were good experiences. <br/>I agree with other reviews that the soup was a little bland due to less MSG but I'm trying to lower my sodium intake anyway and Pho has a lot of it. <br/>I just a add more hot sauce etc. <br/>if I'm in the area I will stop by but I won't go out of my way. I give it a 3 out of 5 bean sprouts.

Quite a bit of food for the large. Soup is a little bland but I assume that just means less msg. Very clean and quick service as one person can do humanly possible.

I think pho newton is amazing! Their food is absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to dine at and you're in the Surrey area, I highly recommend Pho Newton! The bubble tea comes in various flavors. Strawberry, avocado, mango, you name it, they got it. The workers are really polite. The prices for their entres are perfect! It's so reasonably priced. I love everything about the restaurant. DINE HERE NOW!!!!!!!!

Pho Newton! Great little spot!. Just stopped into Pho Newton and had a delicious lunch of Vietnamese Noodle Soup. Choose the #20 ( I think) which was seafood in a very tasty broth. <br/>Service was friendly and quick. Place is spotless which is a plus. Bathroom was immaculate and that means a lot to me! <br/>Was quite busy for 2 pm on a Saturday. I hope this place is supported by the community. Newton needs more little restaurants like this. I will definitely be back!

Ate here when they first opened up, the food was good but the service was a bit slow, been back to eat many times since and every experience has been better n better, one of the best pho restaurants in town. Über clean and friendly!

Pho newton. The good:<br/>-immaculately clean. dishes, windows, floors, etc were all super clean<br/>-ingredients were very fresh<br/>-broth for pho was not oily<br/>-nice bathrooms (also very clean)<br/>-didn't try but they offer a fairly large selection of bubble tea<br/>-they play vietnamese tv if you care to watch. i personally love it when ethnic restaurants play their country's tv like this. it's like a peak into the culture while enjoying the food-friendly service. four people cheerfully said goodbye to us when we were leaving. <br/>-family run kind of charm<br/>the not so good:<br/>-broth for the pho doesn't taste so great<br/>-pork (i think it was pork??) skewers tasted bit too licoricey. <br/>-filling for the spring rolls have a sesame oil/earthy mushroom flavor that i didn't like which is weird bc i love both those flavors

Awesome Pho In surrey. Finally a best authentic Vietnamese restaurant was introduced in Newton , Surrey. My favourites are the chicken noodle and spring rolls . Service is ok , but the food and the setting are so amazing.
