Review Be 'wiched Cafe - Surrey

Wow this place definitely left an impression on me. The lady working there was very welcoming and knowledgeable, took time to explain the options and made recommendations based on our dietary restrictions, awesome service! I loved that they had several keto friendly options and were pretty flexible for making changes. They also have options for other dietary restrictions and it is generally healthy and made fresh there. Small local business, friendly atmosphere, great service, great taste. The only thing is that the sandwich looked a little bit small, but it did the job. Parking might be tricky there, but we were able to find a spot in front of the restaurant. Definitely recommended!

Super friendly service and delicious home made cooking. From their baked sweets to savoury creations such as their pulled pork chili, there is nothing to disappoint. The owners go out of their way to remember you and make sure you are treated well. A true gem of an eatery in Surrey!

Small cafe but good food and chai tea awesome! The ladies are so welcoming and best customer service and very educational on different things offered. The chai tea was yum and food is fresh and made in house! The timing of hours should be a bit longer than 4pm. Overall a good experience!!!

What a nice and cozy cafe it is. Staff is very friendly. They serve wrap & sandwich for breakfast, lunch. It gets very crowded and parking is very limited at the lunchtime. A must try if you are in vicinity.

I'm obsessed with the food here! Highest quality ingredients made with love and care, you can really taste it. Plus the lady who takes the order is the sweetest person in the entire world. Definitely magical stuff at Be'wiched. :)

Friendly, competent staff and reasonable prices. Had a great turkey sandwich made with – of all things – turkey that’s roasted in house. Not a lot of tables if you want to eat in and the place is really hidden if you don’t have a business or an appointment in the office complex. Still, it’s worth the trip.

Nice little quaint cafe here you can get a good soup and sandwich lunch. Coffee is organic fair trade is fairly good. It is just little small, but the hostess is pretty friendly. I have not been disappointed so far - it has always been a pleasure eating here.

Super great sandwich shop. Has soups, coffee, desserts and great staff. Had the chicken pesto, which was delicious. The staff were kind enough to give half-half of potato salad and orzo salad to try. Was super affordable too.

Absolute friendliest greeting ever. Great service and great food. Was in for a coffee but the breakfast burrito was delish. Highly recommend it

First time going today. I've fallen in love with this place. The most loveliest people work there, they tell you everything about anything. And most importantly everything is made fresh. Delicious food, wonderful service. I'm so happy this place exists

Went here for a quick lunch yesterday. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The ladies are fantastic, and their food is outstanding. They really make you feel welcome. I have only two critiques, both of which exist only because I really loved it and these two obstacles get in my way of lunching here every day. First, there are only a few seats here, so either go early or plan on take out. Second, the parking lot is severely undersized and you can expect to have difficulty in finding a parking spot, so again you’ll need to avoid the lunch rush.

The sandwiches are made with love as are all of the goodies and they taste great too! Be sure to come hungry! The customer service is unreal- you matter and are seen.. Their regulars they know by name. I highly recommend visiting this gem!

One of the best sandwiches i've ever had. A bubbly owner, unique sandwich ideas, and a cozy environment make this a truly great, quick dining experience. Could not recommend more!!
Trevor

I waited so long to come, and I wish I hadn't. With super friendly service and awesome sandwiches I was pleasantly surprised.
My pork cubano was tasty I loved the flavourful pork, and the garlic aioli. I got both banana peppers and pickles yum.
Skip subway go to Be'wiched

The only single con I see is location, but still that shouldn't keep people away.

Delicious, fresh, and great choices! Even better than the food is the service! These ladies are so friendly and outgoing that you can't help but grin. They are efficient and very skilled. This was my first time, and air was impressed that they knew all their regulars by name and what they would like that day. Thoroughly impressed. I'll be back next week!

Let me start with… OMG this place has the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever tasted! The hype is true, this place is great!!! :D. Now onto the details of my visit:. I managed to swing by here on a weekday for some breakfast and I was very impressed. The sweet potato biscuit with turkey sausage that I ordered is just so amazingly good, I can’t even begin to describe it… But I will try! The sausage was excellent, with a bit of spice. The egg & melted cheese were great too. But what really made this so amazing for me is the bread, OH THE BREAD! This sweet potato biscuit is such a perfect match to the sausage in my opinion. It was soft and warm and tasty. I’m telling you, I enjoyed it so much that I looked up recipes for it right after I finished the sandwich!!! (Hopefully I’ll get to try the recipe in Spring and will share it with you then.)

Great sandwiches. The two ladies that run this place are the best.
I always have a nice laugh when talking to them.
The roast turkey with cranberry mustard and the chicken cubano sandwiches are my favorites.
We often get Be'wiched to cater our office lunches.

Burnt sandwich. Would not return ever. Today was my first time going to this cafe. I was excited as they had good reviews. The sandwich I ordered was Burnt. Very burnt. I didn't notice until I got to my work. I received the box and drove to work. I wish I had checked the sandwich. What I received was a burnt unedible sandwich. So sad to see a restaurant with no standards. I will never return.

Amazing food, great service. I visited Be'Wiched on my lunch break today after reading some great reviews. I can assure you it won't disappoint! I had the "Turkey Jammer" on lettuce instead of bread. It was fantastic. Fresh turkey breast, pepperjack cheese, avocado, and some cranberry aioli. I also had a side of quinoa which was very flavourful and delicious! The staff are friendly and put a ton of effort into their food/service.

If you're looking for a healthy little lunch spot, this place is the one!!!!

Awesome homemade food. I drive 20 minutes out of my way every day to go eat lunch here it's amazing homemade food...great choices good prices and you just can't beat the food
Foodie4lyfe
On point!. Tasty food and great service. Had the Stuffed Apple Pie French Toast for breakfast with a fellow friend and foodie last week. It had a nice crunch due to the granola coating and the apple butter and cream cheese filling complemented each other nicely, it wasn't too sweet or filling. The ladies that run the joint are very friendly and passionate about what they do. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch menu!

Service was great.. definitely no complaints there! However, food is over priced. Rather go to safeway and get a large sandwich at their deli for that price.
They also need to change some menu items once in awhile... barely any healthy options.

Love it!. This place is my favorite for food and service. I don't post reviews on places, but this place is worth the time and effort of a review. The food is so good and the prices are reasonable. I don't live that close, but I make the drive. The ladies that work there are delightful.

Fresh sandwiches. This gem is surrounded by a mall full of chains way out where I never get to. The ladies are lovely and the pulled pork sandwich they made for me was delicious. Since my lunch was made from scratch it took a few minutes longer than an assembly line sub but the noise level and overall atmosphere was relaxed and allowed me to catch up on some reading.

Being located in a commercial area this cafe is catering to breakfast and lunch rushes so don't come for dinner I think it closes in the afternoon.

Absolutely amazing food and service! I created an account just to post this review. I am so impressed. Many Gluten free options. Organic, sugar free as well. The ladies are so helpful and informative. They offered samples of everything and made many wonderful suggestions. You must eat here!

Best sandwiches in all of surrey
I go here everyday the entire menus is awesome. The baked goods are kill and the drink selection is awesome. Salad is always fresh and the quality of workmanship put into the sandwiches is just fire. I leave a tip and its a cafe lol

Couldn't find better service. How can you not love a place where you can tell the owners put their heart and sole into their food they serve everyday. This is the kind of place where you want to go not just because the food is great but you want to support a couple of people who work their butts off starting at 5 a.m. every morning and deliver the goods with a high level of quality. Great soups, sandwiches, chili and baking. Thanks goodness Surrey has a few gems like this place!

Delightful!!. I went to this place just a few days ago with a friend and have just got the chance to write a review for places like this that I'm so happy the urbanspoon exists because us customers are able to rave about our favourite places on here, and this place is certainly worthy of praise!
If you need a reference point, this little bistro restaurant is tucked in the same lot as big ridge, at the intersection of #10 and 152 street.
Two ladies run the place and customer service is at the top of their aim. But it just doesn't end there! You can tell that they put pride in everything that they do! Super healthy options! Gluten free items on the menu, dairy free soup; I don't intricately know all they options, but they seem to definitely cater to and consider those with dietary restrictions or those who just want to make smarter choices!!
I was impressed because since this was my first visit, the one lady offeredany samples, so we had a good idea of what we wanted to order. Good tactic too, because I happily ended up getting a cup of one of their quinoa salads and boy! Was is ever good!
They also had these great little mini chocolate cake type desserts, oh my goodness! Caramel on the inside! For something so savory, it's the perfect little treat!!
If in the area, skip the fast food options and come here, the food is definitely worth the wait!!

GREAT LOCAL DELI. I find it refreshing finding a place like this in surrey. Customer service is exactly how it should be. They are truly attentive to your needs. I had the caliente cubano which was great. The pulled pork sandwhich is well, it's marinated pulled pork in a bun and it is awesome. I also tried the chilli which gives you a good taste of the pulled pork if you don't want order it as your main. It has good flavor and is one of the better tasting chilli's I've had. Lastly I tried the hot blondie (I think that was the name) and i am not talking about the girl who works there (hits the drums). Anyways it was excellent and I am not even a big fan of chicken. They also have a bunch a baked goods that look amazing. If you are in the area and want a quick sandwhich, come here. Please don't waste your money on subway or quizno's or anything like that. This place will cost about the same and it is on another level in terms of taste and quality. Do it. Come here. Just do it....Like now.

Really good. Had the cubano caliente earlier this week and it was really good. Good fresh ingredients. And the ladies working here are really friendly.

First time experience was perfect! Welcomed with big smiles and service. The woman explained the menu options and made suggestions. Most of the menu is made in house with fresh ingredients daily. Coffee is organic, with bold flavors...ummm Not your average coffe shop!!!

Awesome lil sandwich/cafe shop with awesome food made with awesome ingredients! This place is awesome!

Went there for lunch today. Had the amazing pulled pork sandwich! Apparently you can request to have the pulled pork in a grilled cheese sandwich too. Super friendly service and they even let me taste test the soup specials so I can decide. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu. How does apple pie french toast sound to you?

It's as if my mom made me a delicious meal...if she were a good cook and made food from the food network. Great place and lovely ladies.

At Be'wiched for lunch. The Cubano sandwich has an amazing roasted marinated pork...simply to die for

Whats not to like? The staff is friendly i actually felt welcome and like an important customer. I was greeted and asked If i was new and they told me about there food. All the food, sauces baked goods and soups are made there except the bread. Which impressed me. These people seem to be really pasionate about there food and there business. The prices are a touch high but i dont mind because it was good quality food made from the heart. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was great. Finally there is place that make a good sandwich in surrey. I will be going back to try other items on the menu.

It Has Potential. Let me begin by saying that I make a pretty stellar sandwich and have had some pretty amazing ones, so to hear that these sandwiches were the best around made me raise an eyebrow.

What I assume to be the owner greeted us in a very friendly fashion and quickly asked what we'd like for lunch. My husband ordered the Caliente Cubano and I ordered the Chicken Pesto (not Genovase like you might expect, but a spinach/walnut mixture). She added two sodas to the order and we paid a little over 24 dollars. Seems pricey right? It was. But we were willing to pay based on the stellar reviews. We grabbed our neatly packaged lunch and head to the park to munch. Here are our thoughts:

1. While the sandwiches definitely have potential, they were way over "gooped." When asked if I wanted some avocado on my sandwich, I eagerly replied "sure" but ended up with a lot of guacamole that squished out as I tried to eat the sandwich. My husband had so much "aiolli" on his sandwich it was almost inedible.

2. For once, someone is using great bread. As a bread nut and a baker my husband was very happy with the quality and texture bread. It's clear they are using quality ingredients, which I guess plays into the price? The side salad they included was a nice touch.

3. There was some seasoning lacking in the sandwich for me, and this doesn't mean "needs more salt." Ingredients like lemon, lime, fresh herbs would be helpful on both sandwiches we had. I might have adjusted the sandwich myself if I knew what was available.

4. I love something crunchy with my sandwich. Small bag of chips would have been perfect but there were none on site.

5. The decor is very nice and inviting. They've done a lovely job in making it a clean and welcoming atmosphere. A shame that there isn't a real patio.

6. A build-your-own sandwich would be a nice addition to the menu. It may have been there but I didn't see it.

In closing, the sandwiches have potential but a more gentle hand with the condiments is necessary and I feel like it was very expensive for what you are having - a sandwich.

OINK!. You MUST try the pulled pork!!
It's a generous serving of delicious, in-store brined, cooked and shredded pork on a ciabatta bun with a good dollop of homemade apple butter BBQ sauce. All this makes this a selection that will keep me coming back!
Whether it's the sandwiches, salads or freshly baked items, they are freshly made in store, with healthier ingredients, shying away from preservatives and heavy use of salts and sugars. All very tasty.
Today our table had the pulled pork(of course!), the Monte Cristo with raspberry-dijon mustard and roast turkey sandwich with garlic aioli . Dessert was a couple of their unique pumpkin cookies with brown sugar icing(these are always a treat). All the delicious goodies were served up quickly and devoured eagerly. We will return!
Good going, ladies!
Two Pigs In A Pod
This place is within a plaza and not very obvious if you’re driving by. I think the biggest knock on this place would be it’s location in the sense that you can’t see this place if you drive by this area. The food on the other hand…was so good! I came right around the time the lady opened up the restaurant and she so full of energy. I really appreciate when the people serving you seem like they’re happy to serve you. This lady really makes you feel at home and seems really passionate about what she does. The spot isn’t too big but it’s nice.
Feeding My Ohana
...I adore this place and hope that everyone eats there if they have the chance. Not only is the food is Feeding-My-Ohana-worthy, the two women who run treat you like family, in the best possible way. I even like that it's unpretentiously tucked away in the corner of a generic office complex in the 'burbs. They just know what to do and they do it well. Visit them. Eat there. You will be glad you did. The Cubano, both with and without banana peppers, eggplant, and roast turkey sandwiches are fab. Plus the Nanaimo bar, a regional dessert of graham cracker-coconut, custard and chocolate was the last lovely thing we ate from Canada. More importantly, the two women that run the place are the kind of incredibly 'up' positive people that you just
Gluten Free Guinea Pig
The two ladies who run the place are so accomodating and gladly went out of their way to list their gluten free menu items. This even though I had arrived after closing time! First off, they make their own peanut butter granola bars. Those of you who steer clear of oats need not try it out, but I happen to be fine with oats. Good thing for me! This bar was so yummy, and reminiscent of the Nature Valley bars I used to enjoy in those gluten-full days. Also on the menu are their gourmet sandwiches. The girls will make any sandwich with lettuce instead of bread.(Choose your sandwich filling carefully for trace amounts of wheat could be in some items) They call them "lettuce jammers". This isn't just any lettuce, but a commercially sold hybrid of iceburg and romaine, which holds its shape for your chosen filling. After they offered

I love sandwiches. Sometimes when I don't feel so awesome, eating a really yummy sandwich could cheer me up. This week we finally made it to the new Be 'wiched Cafe in Surrey. The cafe specializes in warm sandwiches. We were there for lunch, and it was a bit hard to hold ourselves back from ordering too much because there were a lot of really promising sounding sandwiches. For my lunch I ordered the Cubano sandwich with a side of Tomato Soup . Everything was made to order. The Cubano sandwich had roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese and pickles with ciabatta bread. The sandwich was pressed to give the ciabatta bread a really nice crunch. The sandwich was really good. I loved every bite of it. I could taste the pork, the ham, and the pickles individually, and all together they made a great combination. I don't really know what authentic Cuban sandwiches taste like, but I have added this one to my favorite sandwiches list. We also tried the Monte Cristo

This is such a hidden gem and neighbourhood favourite and I just want everyone to try it. The quality and flavour of food they’re producing could kick some downtown a**.
