I was fortunate enough to get a table on a Saturday evening in July at the Seahorse to celebrate my 20 year wedding anniversary. It was by far the best local dining experience I have had for as long as I can remember. Amazing staff that knew the specials and menu faves back to front. John and Francina have a great thing going here. Bravo to you both, what a night. The linguini alla vongole tho! WOWZA
A very lovely evening! Superb lamb dinner, appetizer and dessert. Even the wine the waitress chose for me was delightful. Exceptional service. Highly recommend. It was packed on a Saturday evening - that tells you what the locals & others have found :) It was a wonderful pre-birthday gift to myself (couldn't wait - someone I met earlier in the week recommended it). I'll be back! Thanks again all!
I had an amazing experience here with phenomenal food! I highly recommend eating here!
What a surprise... Gourmet food and a great chef hidden in an old house-restaurant near a beautiful beach... Food tastes even better shared with a great friend.
It's a great place with the great food and Chef :)
Fantastic food! Love the lobster pot pie!
Loved the paella! Sweet servers. Warm + cozy setting near the beach. Highly recommend!
Last Saturday night a surprise birthday party. What a super job by the staff at seahorse grill. They went above and beyond. The food was awesome with so many people saying wow we will definitely be back John you rock. Thank you !!!!!! Sue livesey.
John's superior chef skills and worldly experience with food makes Seahorse Grill a culinary adventure. Get ready for euphoric flavours of passion in every dish.

Had a wonderful dinning experience here this evening. Stepped out of our comfort zone with both food and wine and was so happy we did. It was unbelievably fresh, made to order and the atmosphere was lovely. Make a reservation to be sure you can get a seat!
This was the best meal I've had in a long time. The spring salmon with citrus risotto and spinach was absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough. John is a fantastic chef.
Always a Great Meal. We always choose the specials as these are always to die for. Would highly recommend this cozy establishment....great staff and service...
Really Like this place. Love the food the staff is great and I really like the back patio early in the night with the kids
This is the peninsulas best kept secret.
They offer an exciting menu with items like Boar and house pate, and they have occasional specials that feature locally sourced items like duck.
The layout and atmosphere does not match the quality of the ingredients that goes into the kitchen or the food that comes out. If the restaurant updated the inside, they would give Vancouver's best a run for their money.
Everything about this small restaurant is being done right. The location, the drink menu, and the food.
Do yourself a favour and eat here.
Wonderful dinner, small venue but covid ready. The service was great- attentive and really friendly. Food was an excellent balance. I had a grilled sockeye salmon stuffed with halibut wrapped in cabbage on a garlic white wine sauce. My wife had beef short rib mashed potatoes which were so tender it melts in your mouth. Loved the flavours. Highly recommended, I'm not a "foodie" but I do like to eat!
Ordered Paella and Beef liver. They were super delicious. Will definitely be back again to try out other dishes :)
This is a cute little place by crescent beach! We parked at the beach and walked down, extremely busy during the summer on weekends so beware of that (not the restaurant itself but the area due to the beach) it took us maybe 15 minutes to walk from the beach! We sat on the patio but the windows were open with the kitchen nearby so it was extremely hot! I’m not sure if would have been the same if we sat inside because it was quite small. The service was good she backed in a few times! And wasn’t too pushy gave us time to enjoy our food.
I’m not positive I’m not an oyster professional or anything but they just tasted off maybe cause this was later in the evening 7pm ish. They just weren’t as fresh. The paella was good my husband enjoyed it.
This is a cool, classy, and a little bit eclectic joint in Crescent Beach that's worth the drive. I recommend getting a cozy table in the back garden and going with one of the frequently changing specials. The kalamari starter is a must though. Their adaptions of dishes are creative and delish!
Had a wedding dinner here on a hot sunny weekend. The place was small but cozy, a bit warm no ac. Parking was a bit of a challenge since there was only street parking and there were a few events going on nearby. But Food was great. Service was good.
