Review Cactus Club Cafe Southpoint Mall - Surrey

Haven't been to cactus in years. The menu is quite eclectic. Not bad, had the ravioli.. a bit too rich for me. The teriyaki bowl was good. The staff I think could use improvement. Our server was good, but the rest of the staff seem to be all busy preening or involved with their own private conversation.

Great ambiance and delicious food! Those rolls are to die for! Great texture and a lot of different flavors in your mouth, just in one bite. Though a bit busy on the weekends nonetheless, I would definitely go back.

Cactus Club has emerged to be a trendy and modern restaurant that’s been going strong for a few decades now. I’ve had most of the menu by now and everything is spot on. Happy hour is every day from 2 to 5 and after 9:30 and it’s a great deal for food and drinks.

Cajun chicken, ipas, impossible burger and ahi tuna roll. Great food. Great customer service

“First impression is the last impression” Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the patio was like the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this place !! Keep up the good work!!

We finally got out on a date night and decided this was a good choice as food is always good. The staff were all super friendly and our waitress was a 10/10 - others should learn customer service from her! The food was very tasty and filling and the coconut cake desert was so good I managed to eat 1/2 even though I did not want any. The only issue we had is we were sitting in the lounge area (which was okay) but there was another group that was so loud we could not hear at times….but it was the lounge section ;0)

One of the best brands of restaurants in Canada. With a variety of drinks, sushi, pasta, steaks, burgers and others. Right for every moment and special occasions. Employees always happy and ready to help and serve the clients. Also I can’t forget to mention the amazing and delicious menu of desserts 🍮 🍨. And for vegetarian or plant-based people, don’t worries, they also have a variety of foods specially ready for you. I really recommend this place.

came here during dinner,  food was average,  ambiance is definitely good, and food wise i think they hit all the important spots fries are crispy and inside is still fluff, although i will definitely stay away from their asian dishes, and stick with burgers/meat/pasta

It’s really a perfect restaurant in all ways , I have enjoyed it always , and I recommend it as , one of the best places to be with our love ones :)

Tried this cafe.. ordered blackened creole chicken, chicken tenders and fries to eat. Everything was delicious. In drinks we ordered the bellini and jäger bomb. The bellini was very disappointing though.

It was at Cactus. And it was the Blackened Creole New York Striploin Steak. Oh man! Just the thought and mere mention of it brings back so many good memories.<br/><br/>I love the service at Cactus and that is at every location. Food has always been amazing. I can't wait to come back to Canada 😁

Came here once in a while for a special occasions (expensive) dinner with family. The main menu remained about the same in all locations, which in a way I found a bit boring and limiting after been to Cactus Club a few times. My usual is Rob’s Hunter Chicken which is usually tender and juicy. Though the last chicken I had was salty.

I had a horrible experience with the staff here and will definitely not be returning because of it -- to any Cactus for that manner.<br/><br/>Upon arriving, a cluster of hostesses by the door stared my boyfriend and I down. They rudely told us that we could seat ourselves. Not sure what their job was, so after awkwardly wandering around the restaurant, we decided to sit on the patio. Since no one seated us, nobody knew we were there!<br/>It took forever for anyone to welcome us or even our orders. <br/><br/>After very mediocre over priced food, I know I will never be back! A terrible experience.

I had the short rib sandwich was delicious! My boyfriend had the 9oz steak and it was overlooked and the vegetables lacked seasoning. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the service was great!

Cookie cutter nightmare!. Our family celebrated a birthday, I was surprised to see that all of the waitresses are like cookie cutter girls...they are all dressed the same , with the exception of a few that chose to show more of their busts! You don't see any other restaurant. That the waiters are all the same looking, dressed in one color and show their stuff!! Anyways after four different servers at our table and difficulty bringing essentials like water refills and napkins, our meals arrived. personally we all felt that the meals were okay, but nothing special. We never knew which server we really had, and it seemed like they catered to the tables of younger men that were there to drink! <br/>I would never return to this restaurant and feel that the prices are too much for what you really get. I guess the idea of Cactus Club is to lure the men inside with the cookie cutter girls that all look and act the same.<br/>J

Great place to get some shots with the boys. The talents not bad either, a few slipped threw the cracks. The bathrooms stalls are always filled with snow which is nice, there is even a seat if you are waiting your turn. Food consistency is constantly lacking. Prefer Joeys or Browns. Even Sammys.

Meh.

Good thing there are enough affluent teenagers in the area who don't know any better. Stopped in for a night cap. Menu was covered with wet globs of slop, waitress didn't apologize or even look surprised. She was hostile and had no idea what kinds of drinks were available. If you have any kind of standards don't bother.

Fantastic!. Always a good time at Cactus Club in south surrey! Love the atmosphere and the friendly service!

Friendly service. Great atmosphere. Cactus club is expensive but well worth it compared to the pubs/bars around it.

Great place to Mingle!. Love this place! what a fun place to grab a drink or 2 and the foods are also excellent with varieties of diferrent cultural dishes. Service is also friendly and the girls are nice looking too!

I have to say that if it were not for chef Rob Feenie items on this menu I would not go. Typical moxie's style service and basic food overpriced. Rob Feenie makes it worth the visit!

Bizzare! Great looking girl showed my wife and I to our table and another took our order. Unfortunately she had no idea what red wines to recommend and then brought our meal on a tray full of dirty plates and dishes ! Seems to be surrounded by more managers than servers who all seem to forget the customer and the very point of them being there. I assume this happens with chains - pity!

Forced into going here. Another typical chain with crap, overpriced food. Drinks are drinks so I don't give people credit for pouring liquid into a glass. Gold star. Places like this are why living in the burbs sometimes sucks. On the plus side, if you like the cactus club, you will also enjoy browns, original joes, earls, wings.... Am I missing any? Because these places are all the same. An insult to dining

Like others have said, great drinks at this place. Atmosphere is very posh & it's nice place to meet up for drinks or a date. Service is always with a smile even if the girls all in black look a bit like hoochies. I've always found the food to be pretty good, not outstanding, but definitely quite good.

Nice place to grab drinks. This location is great for grabbing a drink. Food is generally ok.

To expensive for the food quality

I'm not always a big fan of Cactus Club, but I do like this one. Big part because it looks really good, and the layout of the restaurant works well. I think the cooking staff must generally be better than some other lications, because I have been impressed with the quality.

BBQ Duck Clubhouse. Went for dinner last night. We had a 25 min wait in reception area as it was so busy but the service was excellent, the food came quickly and it was the best club sandwich I have ever eaten (and I've had a few lol). Would definitely go a gain and hope it wasn't so busy. My husband had the JD ribs and said they were superb.

Best place in Surrey. Sure Surrey doesn't have too many options but they do it right here. They MUST bus these blondies in from somewhere else. We were meeting clients and didn't have much hope but it was up to city standards. Good drinks and good waitresses/hostess combo. All the standards were available.

Such a great restraunt delicious food great service and atmosphere i would reccomend the burger with dry ribs to start and a chocolate lava cake for dessert

Good food but a bit too much like a club. The food is always pretty good. More of a nightclub atmosphere in the evenings, if that`s what you`re looking for. The waitresses are a little spacey and interrupt too much, which can be really annoying if you`re trying to visit with someone. That`s happened the last two times I`ve been there and they`ve been different waitresses.

Aneeta. This location has a great atmosphere with a modern and cozy setting. There's a fire pit on the balcony with seating all around and a great lounge. The staff is friendly and the food is always good! The draft beer is always nice and chilled with a frosty glass...yum!!

As always gooof. So its really interesting how at the Centre of Surrey there is a little restaurant that is rocking.<br/><br/>Good Drinks (nothing more then the usual, but good specials, and lovely cocktails/pints.<br/><br/>Food is good old fashioned plus healthy styles food...........but much much mcuh better then regular mozza sticks, chicken fingers or chicken wings..............they actual have gourmet!!!!<br/>gourmet done right and not expensive!!!<br/><br/>Not to mention its opened till 12am.........this place is a mini-gold-mine!<br/><br/>Hurray to the Cactus and its girls, and lets make sure she winks every night forever!

Great food, smiling girls. I usually admire the steak, have a Moosehead (or 2) and am happy. yesterday I noticed something else. Steak was nice and juicy, the waitress was sexy but also the customers are hot. They have the nicest ladies eating here. It is a great place to dine and has atmospeher.

Not bad buit not great. Tooo freakin crowded and the wait to be seated is super long because of it....
