Review Wagyu Japanese B.b.q. - Sudbury

Delicious. I had been Japan in 2002,and this restaurant's service and food here is just as great as when I was in KOBE. Convenient parking nearby. Great ventilation (but my clothes still smelled a little of BBQ after visiting this place). Favorites: Wagyu beef, Japanese style chicken wing, Short beef ribs and lamb, Tofu is great too. Their miso soup and spicy crab meat hand roll are not bad. The butter rice were a surprising crowd pleaser for us. Tip: if you get the wagyu beef, cut it in half and grill. Place meat on top to let flavor drip into the rice.

Really a let down for me as there was so much shellfish but only basa fish. Seaweed salad was good and I recommend the waygu beef for sure. The veggies were good enough too but the only sushi rolls I could get were avacado or cucumber as everything else had shellfish. Not novel enough for the $30 price tag.

I love the spicy chicken wing here. I don't usually go for the BBQ because it takes a while and you always end up burning things in the uneven heat. However the Spicy chicken wing is excellent. I add a spoon of chilli paste and yum! . Also the spicy seafood ramen are excellent. So definitely worth a try...

After years of waiting table BBQ finally landed in Sudbury. The beef here is of good quality and the selection on the menu is all encompassing. Grab sushi, different meat cuts, different styles of rice and much more. While this isn't the greatest BBQ experience of this style, it's certainly worth a night out. Expensive though.

I love this place! The food is AMAZING and it's such a unique experience. My dad doesn't really like ethnic foods, I've gotten him into sushi, so we took him in and he absolutely LOVED it. That's about as high of a compliment as I can give! One thing, I have a bit of a bad back and the chairs are not great in terms of lumbar support, they are straight back. Other than that, it's a great restaurant.

Love. Love. Love!! One of the best Japanese restaurant in town for sure. Not only was the restaurants very nicely decorated, clean, and spacious, the staff was incredibly friendly that it makes you want to melt! Now in regards to the food it was quite excellent. We tried the pork, seafood and beef. While the beef was fantastic I felt that the pork lacked the spice.

Tried this for a new experience and wasn't disappointed. We tried several of the options but the lamb (only available for supper) was what most of us came back to repeatedly, even though we found so many delicious items to try. Our party had a good time cooking their food and choosing their own culinary adventure. It was my first time at this style of restaurant, but I would definitely go again. It was similar to an all you can eat sushi but with the addition of a cooking pan at the table. We were in a party of four and I would say it was the perfect size for the best social experience. You have plenty of time to chat while cooking your food. The atmosphere lends itself to dinner talk and I could see myself going back with just my wife for a special night. The only drawback (or perk) is your clothes may smell like Japanese BBQ for a while after. Putting on my winter jacket still gives me a faint whiff of pleasant memories.

Fantastic little restaurant! I love the experience! You have a round BBQ in front of you, middle of the table. You order on an all-you-can-eat menu and share with the table. The food was delicious and I had a fun time! Next, I'll go with a bigger group so that we can try more food! Thanks!
