My mother in law loved Chinese food because of that place and no where else in the country did she ever find such a gem, I think she was right.
If you’re in the Sudbury area, Blue Bird restaurant in Levack is the place you want to go for Chinese food!!! It sooooo worth the 30min drive.
Dinner for 2 easily feed 4 and everything is made on location, egg rolls are crazy good… and their wonton soups the best I’ve ever had…
So if you’re on way to Windy Lake, give it a try, you won’t regret it…

12 of us dropped in on this place unannounced in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon. Who knew their specialty was Chinese food? But what the heck, we were good with that. They were very welcoming and the service was great. In no time at all they had all our meals prepared, hot and tasty. They even accommodated two of our group with delicious hamburgers. So, if you find yourself hungry in Levack, drop into the Bluebird Restaurant and Tavern.

Awesome place! Quick pick up times, delicious food, reasonable prices. When we want to treat ourselves to takeout, this place more than hits the spot! Try the pan fried dumplings they are to die for.
Food is AMAZING! I love their honey pepper pork and their dumplings. We always get a dinner for 6...even of it's just the 2 of us so we have lots of leftovers

Service is good. Staff is friendly. A very quiet atmosphere. Plenty of space and not overcrowded. You can have a private conversation there with no worries. Food is excellent. Even the kids love it! Will rearrange tables to allow extra seating for any size group that comes in. Very helpful.
Best Chinese food in Sudbury! Love the honey pepper pork, dumplings, Singapore noodles, just about everything on the menu is great!

I have ate here for yrs and the food is excellent....i have not been able to find eggrolls the way they make theirs.....great place great service and great prices.....if you ever travel to the falls in onaping.... i suggest you drive a little further because the food is wonderful and you wont be disappointed.....
It is an Amazing place as I remember it , when I just emigrated to Canada from Uruguay.
July 1968 I was Single and lived in the "Bunk-houses" and worked in the mines....I loved this place and I hope to see it again. Today I am a grandfather remembering fondly Levack and the Blue Bird....where I first learned to eat Chinese Food on Sundays because on Sundays we did not have "Weekly rental Included meals" in the Bunkhouse.
