Review Tucos Taco Lounge - Sudbury

First time at this Sudbury hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy. The servers are super friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was amazing! I never dined at a vegetarian restaurant before, but this place set the bar really high. The mac & cheese tasted amazing, and the Buffalo Tempeh Taco had so much flavour packed in every bite. I highly suggest this place. Take a look of the pictures, it will make your mouth water.

Tucos is a favourite place to go when we're in Sudbury. The vibe is incredible, the staff are great, and the all-vegan food is top notch. The outside eating area is really nice because it's walled off from the street. We always feel a little cooler after a meal here!

Came here on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Great portion sizes and the food was delicious. Ordered a main each and the nachos to share and had plenty of food leftover for a group of 4. We went fairly early for dinner (5ish) so seating was never an issue. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back!

The nachos alone deserve 5 stars. They were the best nachos we’ve had and we’ve had plenty! We couldn’t believe they were vegan! Perfectly crunchy yet very creamy with balanced colourful toppings. “The works” nachos plate was the star of the show for sure. The black bean burrito was too mushy for my liking. I would’ve liked to try their Tuco salad and guacamole but they ran out of avocados, which was disappointing for a Mexican style restaurant. I never complain about too much green but the bowl I ordered had too much kale. The popcorn cauliflower and the dressing were top notch on the other hand. The decor was “beachy coastal boho” style with lots of live plants. Enchanting! Would return to try some more items on the menu, hopefully with avocados!

The food was good overall and it had some neat attention to detail for their vegan mocks of meat like the avocado used as a fish replacement being sliced and fried together to resemble fish texture. However there we a number of things that kept them at a 3 for me. The margaritas weren't very good, the paper the nachos were cooked on stuck to the chips a lot of the time, many of the nachos were soggy since they over used moisture heavy toppings, and they don't let you mix and match their tacos to try a variety of them which is usually an option at taco places I have been.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Always great food, great drinks, & great service! Having a birthday special would be nice though..

Not real Mexican Food. Pickels, sour cream, soy curls, cabbage and cheddar are not Mex ingredients.

The restaurant hosts were polite and punctual. The wait time was minimal. The price was amazing especially for the amount of food. Other places take advantage of the “ vegan” food by jacking up the price. Great variety for the go to pleasure without the guilt. I recommend this place and will continue to go with my wife!

Just stopped in to have lunch and I was amazed at how fresh and flavourful the food is. I had the taco salad and it was absolutely delicious! It was a very generous portion (I had to take half of it to go) The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and very attentive. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to anyone!

I love you guys. My food is almost always consistent, and when it's not you are more than happy to make it right. Your wait times are reasonable, your staff is friendly and they clearly enjoy being at work. Everyone is personable, and the food tastes great. Love that you are conscious of environmental waste like straws and plastic cutlery. I've been repeatedly disapointed at other popular downtown restaurants, but you guys never fail. Thanks for being the best place in town, and shout out to all of your staff for always providing me with a great dinner out!

I tried this place a while back with my mom and couldn’t believe it was vegan! Since then I’ve introduced this little slice of heaven to friends and coworkers. We had it for lunch today at work. Everything was amazing, I actually crave it on the regular. My fave is the tacos salad made into a burrito and the churros today are now going to be a regular!

I make a point of visiting Tucos every time I come in from Ottawa. With all the options we have back home this is by far the tastiest vegan food I have ever had. I typically have the taco salad which is never a miss but had the Buffalo Tempeh tacos today and they were amazing. I look forward to this food every time I visit.

Incredible food! I highly recommend going there, what a great patio too!
