Review Power Plant Grill - Stony Plain

Stopped in for a clubhouse sandwich and a house salad on the side. It was all delicious. The clubhouse was thick with roast turkey, lots of ham and bacon. One of the best I've eaten. Only thing that would have made it better is if they offered multigrain bread. (Four other bread choices offered). The side salad was very fresh with chopped tomatoes, cucumber and sliced radish on top of crunchy lettuce. Large size and tasty! Very filling lunch. I will be back again!

Mmmm. Very good breakfast here. Thick bacon, chunky potatoes, and the coffee is pretty good. If you're hungry for breakfast go here.

Great place, friendly, clean, good food but the air conditioner was on high. We had to put our coats on and even the water from the bathroom tap was cold. May want to look into the temperature controls but other that that nice place.

I was surprised to see a hotel restaurant was rated so highly but this place delivered. Had a quick lunch. Menu is good and reasonably priced. Service was crisp and efficient. I had the Rueben which arrived lacking visual appeal and seemed a bit thin. Happy to say the taste was very good. Bog standard fries were serviceable.

Good breakfast, the Eggs Benedict was perfect. My son's hungry man was very filling amd he was happy.

Atmosphere is cozy and warm. Food was fast and fresh and tasty and they had excellent coffee. :) I would definitely go back!

Awesome place to come for lunch! Soups are homemade and delicious. I love their lunchtime salad bar, it's always fresh. Service is always great too even when it is busy

Good service . They changed their menu and took the best item off it. They took the snitsel burger off. That was my favorite thing. Now I may not go back. Reasonable prices. I went back the service was slow and not very good. The menu is not as good as it used to be. Very disappointed.

We are new to town and were lookng for a good breakfast, so we decided to try the Power Plant Grill. This restaurant does not dissappoint. The servers are friendly and awesome and the food is scrumptious! An easy 5 out of 5 stars. We have found our go-to breakfast place. Thanks for the great experience Power Plant Grill!

Met with a group of 20 fellows for breakfast. We’ve been meeting here monthly for some time. Service is always awesome!! Breakfast menu is great. Reasonably priced & good portions. Clean restaurant & great atmosphere.

Former employee. All around a 6 out of 10. when I worked there I had an incredible boss, management sucks. get rid of them. the food is moderately okay for the most part. now it is back to the old boss. I'm surprised the place is still open to be honest. terrible place to work, pay wise and respect wise.

I found the menu was so good that Thecla went back for seconds on my husband. Seems this restaurant does cater to the needs of clientele. She should be fired for screwing a married man.

Lousy food and service. I have had breakfast and lunch there many times and never had any complaints. In fact my experience has been the opposite but last month we stopped for supper and the food and service was adequate. Tonight we decided to give it another chance. After waiting 15 minutes to get a waitress to take our order for drinks which was delivered wrong she took the food order and she had the hardest time keeping it straight. Again after waiting for over an hour the food was finally delivered and the wife's meal was cold and the gravy was congealed on the top of a dried piece of meat. I had ordered rack of lamb that was over cooked, cold and tough. When we told the waitress her excuse was that they were short of staff and offered us a small discount. Don't go there for supper you are wasting your time and money.

Good breakfast. I came in for breakfast got fast service and good food. This was the best overall service I have received in Alberta for quite a while.

Agreeing with the last opinion -. Tried to go there for a nice latish dinner on the request of my room mate. I ordered what read to be a nice pork dish, but the execution was pretty mundane. Place wasn't really busy - no excuse there. Another place worth going to for a burger and some atmosphere - but not fine dining. <br/><br/>Nice local art touches - if they maybe worked on offering something special or fun it'd be a place go a few times a month. I'll be back, they deserve a second chance - maybe I'll change my tune on a second visit.

Looks beautiful but food was disappointing. Burgers and sandwhiches looked really good going by and maybe they would have been okay. We ordered the salmon fillet and champgion schnitzel. Both were supposed to come with 'seasonal vegetables' but came with a stirfry mix that was undercooked and had a teriyaki sauce on it. Tasted lije it came frozen out of a bag. Service was less than stellar. Waited more than 30 minutes to get the bill and pay. Potato skins and desert was good though. Probably an okay olace to go for burgers and beer to watch the game but wouldn't recommend going if you're in a rush or looking for something more sophisticated than a burger.

My wife and I have dined here on numerous occasions, breakfast, lunch and supper. The food is very good, soups, salad and main courses - reasonable prices. Regular meal times are quite busy and you may have to wait 5 to 20 minutes. However, there is an area that you can sit and watch TV.

I have been here twice now (once for breakfast and once for lunch) and the food is really good. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are fairly big and it is actually a really nice restaurant - especially for Stony Plain. I will say that I think this is the best restaurant in Stony.
