Loved the Taco. Ingredients were fresh and had some great flavour to it. The taco shells are layered with cheese in between them which was nice. I got one taco that was crunchy and one that was soggy so I think next time I'll ask for crispier taco shells. They were soft shells so obviously there not suppose to be crispy but it was nice. Hope they stay around because suburbia needs taco trucks too.
Stopped by today and tried the Fish and Beef tacos. First off the food was amazing. Service was great and food was cooked fresh and executed to perfection quickly. Tacos were served with lime and a very tasty hot sauce. Kudos to Bonita's Cantina a good truck with class and quality food. Will def be back with the wife and would highly recommend to others.

A real review! And I like this place!. First it's really unfortunate to see all these fake positive reviews. This seems to be a growing trend on UrbanSpoon and it's bad for the business and it's bad for UrbanSpoon overall. You may fool a few people but ultimately they'll be disappointed if your product does not live up to the phoney reviews.
Anyway, onto my REAL review. I really like this place. I've been there three times. I plan to go back many more. It's not perfect but it's a winner and I think it will only get better.
First: the vegetarian tacos are DELICIOUS! This is my favourite and will always get these.
The Veggie Taco Salad was also amazing. I had the avocado dressing and it was awesome! However it might be inconsistent as I ordered a side salad at another visit with the dressing and it was not as good.
Home made lemonade:YUM! Refreshing and delicious..
My husband went with me twice--first time got the burrito, was very underwhelmed. The next time got Fish and pork tacos and loved them.
The refried beans, while not authentic style, are amazing! The rice was spiced well but overcooked.
The service is very friendly. The order can take a few minutes to prepare but for home-cooked from scratch food, that's totally fine by me.

Yummy. Had one chicken and one beef taco both on soft corn tortillas, also had chicken nachos. All were great. Only thing they needed was salt and hot sauce. Always better when you need to add some rather than being stuck with something over spiced.

Homemade deliciousness!. First of all, I was overwhelmed by the fact that everything was homemade and prepared on site! That to me says so much about the food without even tasting it. I ordered the vegetarian tacos and was blown away. I gave both the flour and corn tortillas a try and loved both. I highly recommend the homemade hot sauce with the tacos if you like an extra punch to your meal! Overall, a great experience and I can't wait to go back and try more on the menu! Affordable and you certainly won't be leaving hungry!
Great quality food for reasonable price!. Had lunch at this new food truck and we were very impressed with the quality of the ingredients of the food. We had the fish, chicken and beef tacos with beans and rice, and it was delicious and affordable! We also tried the steak and cheese quesadillas (sp?) and it was equally impressive. The beans and rice had a perfect spiciness. There was also a nice little green space to sit and enjoy the food. We will be back!
Just what this city needs!. Had a corn soft-shell taco trio (fish, beef and veg) tonight for dinner in the sun with a delicious, freshly squeezed lemonade. So fresh and tasty! My friend had tacos with beans and rice--- probably the best beans I've ever tasted! (couldn't help myself). The tortilla chips are fried on the spot and are perfection. Can't wait to go back and try the other good things... that'll be my summer project. Really friendly service, too. Go try it out when you're getting bread at Art-is-in... You won't be sorry.

Mouth watering and delicious. It's about time!!!!!!!! Great mexican food served truck side and the incredibly nice service makes the authentic mexican food taste amazing. This is a perfect alternative to all the boring never ending sandwich, deli, salad places
All of their sauces are home made - delicious pico de gallo, guacamole - and the chipolte sauce... smokey perfection. As the Rihanna song goes - where have you been - all my life?!!!!!!!!!
A few things i've had from this truck:

- delicious chicken tacos
- taco salad in a bowl you can eat - yum!!!
Can't wait to come back again - and I will never buy chips and salsa at the store again - I'm coming by to get them made fresh and served hot.
