Review The Grounds Cafe - Stittsville

Ample parking and easy accessible entrance for our baby stroller. The outside is kind of unassuming but inside was very spacious and clean. We came for a Sunday breakfast and the place was almost fully seated. For coffee, we ordered a double Americano and a Cappuccino. I'm not a fan of acidic coffee, so their equator coffee was perfect for me with its strong, dark, and smooth flavours. For food, we ordered a B.E.L.T Sandwich and a Breakfast Wrap. Taste was great with super fresh ingredients and not overly salty even with the bacon. Quick service with ample seating and excellent coffee make this a great place for a quick bite. We will definitely come back when we are in the neighbourhood.

Really great breakfast. Everything was excellent and very tasty. Looking forward to going back again. ...getting the food was a bit awkward...do we wait? ...is there table service?...also do we bus our own dishes.

This place is a nice spot that we recently discovered and have visited multiple times since. Located in a plaza with lots of parking. Every time we go it’s busy but we never have to wait long for an empty table. The staff are friendly and they provide great service. We’ve tried food from their breakfast and lunch menus and we haven’t been disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the wait for the food is not bad. Highly recommend this place at least once. The pictures are from the time we had lunch here.

I'm a fan of the decor as it is modern and there is a lot of seating. The staff seem to be nice and the menu options are pretty great for a cafe. The food was pretty good and I got to select my sandwich toppings!

Purchased a take out for 2 Friday. Salad & soup 2 ham and vegetables - garlic bread & 2 deserts. 5 stars excellently prepared good size severing . So ,so good. Absolutely no complaints. I have supported grounds since it opened. They deserve our support now during these difficult times. 10+/10 excellent

I'd never been to The Grounds prior to the pandemic. Someone told me they did breakfast to go, so I tried it. I didn't know what I'd been missing, and I've been going back ever since. The breakfasts are consistently good. Both the bacon and the eggs are done perfectly. The bacon is really tasty, and good quality. Some of the others in the area are inconsistent - burnt potatoes, broken or hard eggs, or over/undercooked bacon. None of this at The Grounds. These people also done a great job of dealing with the pickup logistics during the pandemic. It feels safe. I'm picky, so when I find a good place, I stick with it. I'm sticking with The Grounds.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. My first time there, we ordered breakfast at 11:10, got the food at 12:10, no apologies no sorry. And even then they forgot to add my sausage. So we started eating, after 5 minutes they came back with a not well cooked sausage! I didn’t enjoy my meal at all! Problem is they charge people up front, no way to charge less for the bad service. Food quality is poor as the price is low compared to other breakfast cafes.

The food was above and beyond amazing. Buttery tarts, awesome sandwiches, coffee and hot chocolate that will make you moan out loud and croissants that are flaky and buttery. The staff was wonderful and they are set up for COVID. I recommend them highly!!
