the employees are really nice and the quality of the food is pretty high

This chain is well known for their Burgers but being a vegetarian we don’t get much options so we tried their CHEESE VEGGIE SANDWICH
the sandwich was really very good fresh and appropriate amount of cheese.
FIVE GUYS I could have given you 5STARS but for that you have to include more of vegetarian options in your menu.
Burger was great, the fries were OK, definitely a large helping of fries. For fast food the price is way over the top. $22 after taxes for a burger and fries. Definitely not for someone who on a budget.
Very friendly concept, also very short waiting times!It is also near lots of stores so it is a nice place to take a quick pit stop to eat!This place deserve 5 stars!
Tasty burgers compared to other fast food joints, but the portions are kinda small considering the prices. I like their poutine, but again portion size is less than you'd expect for the price! Can't say much about the service, they just try to get you food as fast as possible and let you get on your way.
Burgers very good and tasty. Great fries too. A little expensive. Staff well organized. They put a lot of fries in the bag! will go back. Great burger all around.
I went in there coming off a month long bender overseas, the food was great, any choice of toppings, bag loaded with fries it's pretty great. The fry seasoning is great, grease dripping through the bag a true American burger joint. I'll never eat there again but yeah it's very good

Fatty Goodness. If you're up for a fast-food fix, especially hamburgers, I absolutely love Five Guys. The paddies are freshly made and cooked, so it does take a while for you to get your order but it's worth it. It's quite sloppy to eat, but keep in mind that this is not a gourmet burger joint. The cajun fries are probably some of the best fries I've ever had - loaded with spice and just amazing. If you order even just the "little" size, they fill the cup up and then top it off with more so that it's overflowing. If you're on a diet, avoid unless you are using this place as a cheat meal;P
Very good burger and fries. Large quantity of fries, enough for two people when you order the regular size. Burgers are excellent, and come with two Patties when you order a regular burger. Good quality as well. Fresh toppings. Highly recommended.
Great burger. I stopped in quickly and grabbed a burger to go. The interior is extremely basic but the burger was excellent. and made to order not precooked and under a lamp.
Great burgers as usual from five guys. Fries are not up to par with other locations. But large location, and can't go wrong.
Just as I'd hoped. I'd known of Five Guys for a long time, but never had the opportunity to try it before. We dropped by this Stittsville location around 5pm and had no wait and there were plenty of tables open. Usually ground beef doesn't agree with me but I figured I had to try at least the Jr Cheeseburger. It was well worth it - filling but not too much beef for me (and not too much grease either). Took advantage of the free refill to help with the salty fries. It was a nice open atmosphere and if I'm ever in the mood for hamburgers I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
Five guys in general is pretty good but I don't think it would be fair to compare it to other burger places like the works. It's a different type of resturant atmosphere.
To be honest if I was to date the quality of the food. It woul be last between the works and dick's drive through. But the food is still really good and the fries are delicious. One of the problems I do have with this is the price. It seems to me for what you get it's over price.
I would go here if your looking for place to chill with your friends, but I would not go out of my way to go to this place. Overall it was not that great of a place but then again that's comparing it to all the hype it has.

Lives up to the hype. After hearing lots about their delicious burgers and fries. You can see people make your burgers in front of you and its so hygienic. Even have hairnets on beards which was funny! The burgers and fries were delicious and I will be coming back for more!
Good burgers. For people who are tired of the standard fast food fare. Good, real beef burgers, tasty fries and lots of them (enough for two people in one small order), bottomless soft drinks, reasonable prices and a simple, efficient operation. A fun place for lunch.
Good Burger. I've tried Five Guys a number of times and been pleased every time for the most part. While I think they're a bit pricey for a burger with a cheese slice instead of real cheese, it's a good burger. It's very moist and as a result, it can be pretty messy to eat, so grab some napkins. I don't like the fries at all... too many, too greasy, too mushy. I've tried the regular and the cajun. I've also tried them well done and they still doesn't work for me. I think it's one of the best burgers in the city. It's a little cheaper, less gimmicky and not as dry as the burgers at The Works, and a lot more flavourful than any fast food burger.
Good Burger. For 5 dollars you get a pretty good burger - the fries are good - basic but i love the options you get with the burger. I would never eat inside the place though...just take out ;)
It was not what I expected. It's basically a fast food joint but the burger was really good, fries good too.
Five Guys and Their Dog. Just good simple/cheap eats place that beats hittin a drive thru any day and so happy to find a place to get a good frank! I had the Bacon Cheese Dog with grilled onions mayo and ketchup and split a regular fry with my friend who had the Little Bacon Cheese Burger. Fries were more then enough for the two of us. The wait for the eats is well worth it and love the peanuts as a distraction while your foods on the grill. Total was $15.00 for the two of us and I'm beggin to go back for more.
Good tasting patty. I really enjoyed this place. I liked the concept of the peanuts and the simple menu. The burgers are very big and when filled with toppings, the burgers weighed a TON! The fries were also very good and had a large portion. We only had the regular fries, but next time we will try the spicey ones.(When I say we in my reviews, I usually mean my girlfriend, not my imaginary friend...usually) I must say though, like other reviews, if you load the burger with toppings, it will be impossible to eat normally. I could not chew it without having my face filled with mustard, ketchup, mayo, etc... Also it does get wet and breaks down. But still, a pretty darn good burger yall!
Top 3 Burger joints in Ottawa. Love this place, a bit pricey for a burger & fries but the portion you get pays off.

Best burger in Ottawa. We both think that this is #1 burger in Ottawa and probably the 3rd best that I have ever had. I should have got the small burger too as the ""regular" burger is a bit ridiculous and I wasnt starving. The fries were at least good but not the best. Our large fries included a full large fry cup PLUS the same amount just dumped in the bag.
While the price was up there it was reasonable for the amount of food that we got (2 burgers, 1 large and 1 small plus a large fries and large drink for $22). I consider it to be a world class burger and the fact it is fast food amazes me. All the toppings make for a messy burger but it is FANTASTIC!
Pretty Good, But Not Amazing. Definately better than those other burger joints, but best fast-food burger in Ottawa still goes to Burger and Shake in Manotick

Oh my god.. What a great burger. I would get the small burger next time as the regular one is very large. Best fries I had in awhile. Also great peanuts to keep you occupied while you wait for your meal.

Love this place. I love Five Guys since I had them in New Mexico. The burgers are awesomely good.
I am not sure where the hate is coming from for the fries. The order I had were great. Maybe people are not used to the peanut oil? Or maybe the new restaurant did not have the process down?
I highly recommend, and wait patiently for an outlet closer to me in Orleans or Trainyards to open. Kanata is just too far for frequent trips.

Best burger I've ever had though.
We definitely inhaled our burgers and made a mess of it. It was so worth it though. I found all the toppings overwhelming. It was hard to taste the sweet and fluffy buns that the Five Guys had – that’s what she said! But seriously, my burger had too many things going on. There was way too much ketchup. I saw one of the ladies behind the counter add a layer of ketchup on the burgers. It was like an extra patty of ketchup. Craziness! As I had a few more bites left of my burger, I was able to enjoy the sweet burger buns.
Absolutely amazing quality beef !! The assembly line of staff is very impressive! The floors were shiny clean . The store was very busy but the staff quickly and with quality served our food. I was thrilled at the taste of the burgers! I am not a big meat eater , but they stand by there quality and no hormones meet! Will definitely be going back ! One of our new favourite “burger” stops!! Thanks for offering such quality grown products! Rare find in fast food world!
Came super late, due to traffic, we got there 20 minutes before close. I work fast food so I get the frustration when customers do that and so we apologized profusely and even offered to go somewhere else. Not with these guys. The most positive workers, so accommodating and happy overall. Made us feel welcomed and offered amazing service. The guy making burgers is elite and never fails to make the best tasting burger ever. The girl who customized my milkshake (delicious btw) was the sweetest ever and really put a smile on my face. This location. never. fails.
I love Five Guys because of the flavour of their burgers and the fresh ingredients they use, and today was no exception. I also love their Cajun fries—except for tonight where the fries tasted old. I already knew in advance that would be the case because I saw a fairly large batch of fries sitting in the warmer while I was ordering. Did I have the right to ask for fresh fries? I think I'll do that for sure next time.
Good burger but the fries too much salt
Best burger I have ever had. I love that you can add all the different toppings. I had my first take out a few weeks ago since them I am addicted and have ordered every weekend. Great value for money too
