Review Mae's Place - Stevensville

Always a delight. The seafood platter with three medium size pieces of haddock, two each, breaded scallops and shrimp with onion rings and french fries for only $14.50. Love the "up north style" decor. Their homemade pies are really good too.

Wish I took photos. Food was stupendous! Great value, fresh and delicious home cooked dishes. Staff was great and Daryl was a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for sharing and enlightening us on your business. Will definitely be back again!

My husband and I on Fridays frequently go to Mae's for fish and chips. Finest in the Niagara area. We drive from Welland for the great customer service and fantastic food. Enjoy!!

Was staying in Stevensville so wanted to try out some local food. This place had some good reviews so decided to give the Tuesday special of roast beef with gravy mash and veggies a try. The meal was terrific and the owners were nice. Great place, if your looking for a home style meal I would suggest it for sure.

Had a great family dinner at Mae's! Kristen was our waitress and she was kind, caring, and over the top friendly. Great food and a great atmosphere! The desert was well worth it too. Give it a try :)

Wonderful service and delicious food. We visited from out of town. The waitress was very nice and we ate a huge breakfast for a reasonable price. Perfect way to start a family outing to Niagara Falls. Will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

Cute little family type restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions always leave me full with a little extra to bring home for later. The menu, though not huge, has a great variety ... something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and prompt and the restaurant itself is very clean. The only downside to this restaurant is that there is no parking lot so if you go at a time when it is busy you could spend a few minutes looking for somewhere to park, especially if the surrounding businesses are also busy. All in all a cute restaurant to check out with the family.

My wife and I ate at Mae’s Place for the first time tonight. A coworker recommended it to me and I’m so glad she did. This place has a old school vibe with amazing food. We shared some pirogies and a fish fry dinner. The pirogies were fried crispy with a tasty seasoning salt on them and the fish fry was hands down the best we have had in the area. Battered in house and fried golden brown to perfection. The fries are fresh cut an also fried to perfection. We have found our new favourite local restaurant and will be going back very soon. Make sure you save room for the awesome pies!!

Just had the WORST meal I have ever had at Mae's in Stevensville. I had been there numerous times before never been a problem. Ordered Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables with a little bit of gravy. Got instant watery soupy potatoes with a frozen hamburger patty swimming in grease and gravy and bagged baby carrots that were lukewarm. Mom had a Julienne salad. Bagged salad with chopped ham and bagged grated cheese. That's it. Soooooo disappointed. Paid the bill and won't ever be back.

Thursday night turkey is the best anywhere!!!!!!! Waitresses are great !!!!!! Should be a waiting list - best deserts in Niagara

Mae's is awesome! The service was amazing, the food was comfort home-cooking at its best. My family each had something different, and everything was absolutely delicious! If you haven't been to Mae's Place, you're missing out!

My Aunt Doris Emmerson took my husband and I out for supper whe we were down for a visit. She took us to MAEs, our meals were really good and lots of it. Our waitress was awesome. It's my aunts favorite place to go.

Always a great choice...Maes catered our wedding back in 2000, everyone had nothing but positive things to say about the food. Highly recommend!

The fish is some of the best I've ever had, their iced tea is delicious and the clam chowder is fantastic. Service was great.

Love Saturday morning breakfast! Crab Cake Eggs Benny my favourite. The homemade pies can't be beat.
