Review The Cove - Steady Brook

Jonathan Chan
Excellent pizza and friendly service in a casual setting. The restaurant is inside the Marble Inn Resort building, immediately adjacent to Madison's. They were particularly busy on the day we stopped in and so our food did take a rather long while to come out---no bother though; I can appreciate that occasionally a place will get abnormally busy and have an off-day; at least the waitress and manager both acknowledged and apologized for the delay. The waitress was friendly and helpful if a bit overwhelmed on this particular day. The food itself was overall good: the pizza was delicious, as was the lasagna; the salad was a little over-dressed. The setting was casual and well-lit; it was a little loud but not uncomfortably so.

Terrific pizza in a relaxed atmosphere. The space is comfortable and the service was excellent.

WAY over priced for the most mediocre pizza you will ever have. 100 bucks for 2 drinks, 2 salads and 2 pizzas, which the waitress screwed up the toppings on and didn't offer to fix the order. Even had it been the correct order this is the most boring pizza sauce you will ever have, may as well just be a slice of tomato thrown on the dough. Save yourself the drive and the money, and don't waste your time here.

Best pizza in the area for sure. Closest thing to true Neopolitan! Still needs some work on things like lowering prices, using better ingredients and taking some ketchup out of the BBQ sauce!
