Review Tim Hortons - St. John's

Cassie Woolfrey
This is the best Tim's in the city. The staff are so quick and accurate. If you need your order quick, go here.

Very busy store on the TCH! Coffee was great, breakfast sandwiches were not hot. Need more staff as wait time was 20 minutes! Yes, I do understand about the social distancing as well. We will still be back! You All did what you could and everyone does appreciate front line workers!

Jen makes my experience going to Tim Hortons at this location the best. She makes my day and makes me smile. I go to this location everyday as I work at the airport, and she makes it a pleasure to go to Tim's. So excellent work Jen and never give lose your personality

Disrespectful .we asked politely to make the order right they told us to visit other store ...if this store make it wrong...they cannot make a simple medium iced coffee right. Never offer an apology or refund and today they were arguing that they made it right when we asked to make the coffee right or put caramel on side..worst time hortons in town..

I ordered a sausage farmers wrap and a vanilla iced coffee and my farmers wrap was like soup from all the sauce and they didn’t add a hash brown. I brought it back and they wouldn’t give me another. #rotted

Nice store, very clean and friendly staff. But getting your order right is something they don't have down pat yet. Got wrong order both times in 2 days. I drink tea, I get a coffee everytime. Had a bagel extra toasted with butter, not toasted, no butter. Always go to drive through and ends up having to go in all the time. Never even as much as offer a free tea. Should get this place in line. It's not about how fast you can push someone out the door but the great service will always bring you back. Cheers

Consistently inconsistent. I don't believe my boyfriend and I have had a "good" tasting coffee from this location in the past month. Service has slowed way down, they don't have the items you order, but you only find this out after you have paid for your order. Just really not on the ball anymore. I liked this location when they first opened, but I don't think I'll be back until I notice some change.

Updated Review: My boyfriend and I decided that it's time to stop coming to this location. We haven't had one good experience going through the drive through in the past two weeks. That's two weeks of patiently waiting for the employees to learn how to change a pot of coffee, especially when it's old and burnt. However, they can't seem to do that. So I'll drive the extra couple of minutes to the Portugal Cove location to get a coffee I can hopefully drink. 8 thrown away coffees is absolutely unacceptable. Regardless of this being Tim Hortons or not. It's really sad that this Tim Hortons is so close to the airport, and unfortunately going to be a quick coffee stop for travelers going to and from the airport. Going to leave a literal bad taste in tourist's mouths. Old Review: I'm sad that this location seems to be going down hill lately. The weekday staff, during the day, are usually pretty good, but other than that it's not the best.

Your Tim Hortons in the airport in the lower level should be shut down immediately, I went to grab a Tim bit and there was at least 12 flies sitting on them and they were still serving them to customers. Absolutely ridiculous health Canada should shut them down immediately.

Disappointing pass thru. Ate in the restaurant. Order a club sandwich and was pretty much served a bread sandwich. Mayo was thicker than the turkey and bacon combined. Then a 1.5 hour wait to get thru security. People (not me), whose flights were being called told to stay in line, they wpuld be called by name, they never were!!!

I have a nine hour wait for a flight to Dublin, coning from Hfx, the worst airport I have ever experienced. Only one very sub standard restaurant in arrivals, worst cold poutine I have ever partially eating, starving otherwise would not have eaten any. Now in departures, nothing to eat. Small place that sells some Tim Hortons , just appalling. The only little store, asked for Canadian magazine, not one for sale. Make sure any one coming to airport eat before arriving. Absolute joke.

Very limited services in the secure area. No place to get a decent meal or a drink while waiting for flights.

I was disappointed in the lack of consideration and assistance given as I recently made my way through security alone with my infant. The first airport we’ve travelled in where I was not offered to take a shorter line, and instead had to wait 25 minutes in a barely moving line at 5 pm holding a heavy diaper bag, winter coats and a baby by myself. When it came time to actually go through security nobody so much as helped to take a baggage tray off the stack and lay it out for me, but quickly came to push them down the table while I was still placing items in them with one hand, and comment that I was holding up the line. Thankfully my flying experience was improved by the amazing service given by PAL.

I love small airports,so efficient and friendly. No security line ups are a real treat compared to the 45 minute plus line up in Toronto. Keep up the great work

Tim Horton's waited in line like forever, only one person serving everyone. People complaining in line to each other. Very disappointing.

St. John's airport is a nice, newer looking airport obvious,y renovated from years past. It's functional and attractive. It's just a shame that the flagship carrier they sponsor, Air Canada, is such an abysmal excuse for an airline - ALWAYS late, never responsive or caring to the needs of their customer base no matter how faithful they are and a poor excuse for a national air carrier. They will eventually experience that the competition out there will win over their faithful customers and then the stockholders will know that there is a problem!

Great airport, but going through security REALLY needs to improve. With just two screening stations, one is dedicated to nexus passengers, it takes forever to get through. Because of the time needed to do this, you have to leave the main area of the terminal way sooner than you should have to, most of the stores where you could get a bite to eat or shop are losing out. Other than that, it is a nice airport.

Your security beraded my gf for ten minutes cause she was almost late for her flight. Wtf is wrong with you, you have no right.

Stuck on a two hour layover. Arrived just before 5pm and was told the plane was delayed and not leaving until 9 pm. No restaurant on departure zone with only a small Tim Hortons serving muffins, donuts etc. Would have been nice to have somewhere to have a hot meal. Do not consider this to be an international airport.

Its a small airport and maybe needs some renos/ upgrades but in total a good place.

Lovely bit of stuff. Smooth check in time. Hardly any waiting. Everything marked well with proper signs. Friendly and courteous staff.

West jet line up was small, very nice. Security line up took 50 minutes, they had 1 screening line open, terrible.

Friendly staff clean place and felt like a person. The staff at the air Canada desk who helped us out gave us her time made us feel important
