Bitters - St. John's - Photo album

This is the pub restaurant governed by graduate students union of Memorial University. They have a good menu with very reasonable price. The quality changes slightly with changes of kitchen manager but they keep it acceptable. I realized the fish and chips been always served with the same high quali
Attended trivia night on Thursday night. They hold this event every couple of weeks I think. It was a lot of fun, and the two gentlemen hosting the trivia night were really funny. It's a small little bar located in one of the buildings for Memorial University. The only thing I thought was a downfall
I used to love going to comedy shows at bitters. Its nice yo have a comedy room with a kitchen. But since I heard they stopped paying the comics and the show went away I haven't gone back. Such a shame.
This place is amazing. Great beer, delicious pub style food, free pool, amazing atmosphere, and tons of events and specials weekly. Top notch service too, never feel like I shouldn't tip. You'll always be happier after a night at Bitters 🍻
Quality has really gone down hill. Cost of the food has gone way up, but the amount and quality have severely deteriorated. Beer selection is still good, but not worth it if you want to eat.
Went for a trivia night. Could have used a little more help behind the bar at times. I got the chicken strips and onion rings. While the onion rings were great, I think my chicken had been left in the fryer for too long.
I really enjoy this bar. It's a campus bar so food and staff fluctuates from year to year but both the beer and food are reasonably priced. They have a decent selection of craft beers.
A campus bar where no one who isn't a student working within 3 minutes walking distance of it should go. If you love cheap vintage 70s industrial educational architecture and mediocre pub grub then this is the place you're looking for.
