Review Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - St. John's

My family and I often go there to get ice cream throughout the year. While it is not the best ice cream around, it is consistently good and well-received by my children. And their favourite is always the blizzards although even the regular cones are liked. While we have not really tried much of the chicken and food, the fee times we have had it was decent.

This DQ is my good too! The service is slow but it's whatever, I don't mind waiting for yummy ice cream! The staff are friendly and the food is good!

Had a flamethrower burger. The food quality doesn't compete with A&W or Burger King, but i find it fun and charming in it's own way.

So grateful that you have gluten-free dairy-free Dilly bars. I get them all the time ! Delicious.

Terrible customer service. I went there towards closing time (but still lots of time) and they didn’t answer the drive through or phone and they locked the door. They stood there looking at me!

Freezing cold to dine in...I don't mean chilly I mean frigid.... burgers were lukewarm at best because if this when it was delivered. The food was brought to the tables as a take out order in the bag instead of on the tray... fries were cold.... poutine so cold that it left a greasy film in your mouth so we left and didn't need ice in your drinks....Topsail road store I have been a patron since u opened......I will not be back and I will not promote your store as a family friendly restaurant ever again...at best it is a greasy spoon dive that just wants to shovel out fourth rate food through the drive through windows with zero consideration for dine in patrons.......I give it a 1 only because I cannot give it a zero

I am just getting back home from being at Dairy Queen on Topsail Rd. I went thur the drive thur and I placed my order and I asked for no salt on my fries but ended up receiving soggy cold fries that were covered in salt and after asking for them to be replaced with the original request of no salt I ended up waiting for 4mins to get them the way I 1st asked for them to be replaced with Once I got home I was once again left with disappointed yet again because the burgers were completely disgusting, cold and the buns were dry as dust. I am totally turned off from Dairy Queen after this experience tonight and I am going to be at the store in the morning to have my order refunded because I can spend $40on plenty of other things that are actually worth the money.

If you can avoid this location, do so. Slow service from workers who dont listen. Expect to wait for your order and for your ice cream to be partially melted and/or incorrect.

We walked in tonight at 1045 pm and placed our order to eat in.The girl at the counter checked us in.The guy standing behind said the lobby is closed and we couldn't eat in.Why didn't they lock the doors at 1030 and be done with it??.Whats the purpose of having the front store open if customers cant eat in.We will never be eating there again??The guy standing behind said he was the manager and was very rude.I hope all of these comments gets passed along to the owner because management is very poor at this location.

I'm not usually one to leave a bad review because I've worked in many places but the service at this location has gotten much worse. I waited for 25 minutes in the drive through today for 2 blizzards, which can be understandable. Then I was given back incorrect change. I would have gone back but honestly didn't feel like waiting another half hour to get it sorted out. The girls working were doing all they could, I think this location needs better management and maybe someone over the age of 16 with more experience. So disappointing. Will not be back to this location -- also, get some Reese's pieces in already.

Just order your new Brownie Cookie Dough Blizzard, not sure it recipe or the store but it had no Brownie in it. It was Ice Cream, cookie dough pieces and some chocolate pieces. Not what was advertised!
