Bally Haly Golf & Country Club - St. John's - Photo album

I have been hear many times over the years. A great place with some of the best fish and chips in the city. I have always enjoyed any event that I have been to and I would highly recommend the place for nearly any event of even a meal. And there is always a place to park.
Fun course with slick greens. Food in the restaurant was excellent
S Our game was spooled by drenching rain but a picturesque Golf course built in early 1900s, once the go-to membership course in St John's, NL
We arrived mid way through a scheduled special luncheon set up for 11to 3 o'clock. Staff were rushed and not sensitive to new arrivals. We had a 1and1/2 hour wait. Food was rushed and orders incomplete, desserts dried out. We should have chosen another restaurant for a Mother's Day celebration.
Seafood chowder is the best I've ever had, and the kale goat cheese salad is amazing! The food is always great, the chef does a very good job. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Great place for lunch or supper. The fish and chips are spot on.
Go here for lunch fairly often. Menu is limited but I always get the fish and chips anyways. It's really good. Fast, friendly service. And they have non-alcoholic beer if you have to drive!
Nice course very open. Restaurant and bar have a nice atmosphere.
We had family in from Ottawa and made reservations for 26 people. Wonderful reunion, beautiful meal. Enjoyed by all.
