A nice little restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by our meals. The service was pretty good. The menu offered a fair number of choices and the prices were decent. It is a nice place to have a meal.

The best fries I have ever tasted. I had the grilled cheese as well and my mother had the chowder...we loved our lunch. Delicious and very friendly staff. We will be back.

Went here for lunch this weekend and it was an overall poor experience. I had the seafood chowder and my friend had the bacon corn chowder. Hers was piping hot, but ridiculously thick, lumpy texture and really unappetizing to look at. Mine was literally room temperature, not even slightly warm. These had both clearly been frozen and poorly defrosted. When I asked for it to be heated, the waitress didn't even attempt to apologize, just simply took it back. When she returned it had sloshed all over the plate - again, no apologies. Service in general was unfriendly and not great. The two stars come from the fact that, once heated, the seafood chowder was decent tasting. Not sure if my experience is a one off but I will certainly not be returning to Wedgwood Cafe.

I did not visit this place until a few years ago with my mother. During her time with cancer and chemotherapy, this was one of her favourite places to eat. Some of the soups and meals were absolutely wonderful for when she had challenges eating and they had so much flavour. I was often being sent there for snacks and meals.

Grilled cheese and the fries were good but the pulled pork was tough and dry. Forgot to bring our drinks but graciously didn't charge me for them. Should maybe check the washrooms more frequently to make sure they are fully stocked. Overall not a bad place for lunch.

Went there for lunch and it was mediocre. I ordered the sweet potato shepherds pie and it had a strange taste to it. The potatoes weren't nice and crusty like you'd get on a shepherds pie that was baked in the oven, they were soggy and mashed with no crust. The meat was really chunky and not much flavour. And the vinaigrette was really thick and sour and had a look and consistency like gravy. I don't like to give bad reviews but I wasn't happy with the meal. My bf got the burger and fries and his was good, but even his was sour tasting. Maybe they were heavy handed on the Worcestershire sauce.

The best food I've eaten in weeks! I had the Monte Cristo with Turkey Vegetable Soup. It was delicious. The coffee and service was also spot on. I will definitely come back again!

I meant to make this review sooner but haven't had a chance. We ordered for the office last Friday and it was awesome. They forgot one meal when we picked it up but they were super helpful in replacing the meal and delivered it with a beautiful strawberry spinach salad and some desserts to make up for the mistake. Means so much when an establishment goes out of their way to make you happy. Everyone pretty well had turkey bacon avocado sandwiches and they were amazing. I can't wait to try some of the new healthy options I see on their menu. Love this place.

So slow. Used to love going there. Second last time we were there waited forever for our food to come out and it was lukewarm to say the least. Last time we went there we left after waiting over 1/2 hour for our food to come out. Will not eat there again.

First off this place is great, but there are a few caveats that are worth knowing. The main one being the hours are a bit strange. They are basically only open for lunch (even though their website says dinner some nights). Secondly as per previous posts the decor is not going to blow your socks off, I think they shop at the same furniture stores as cafeterias or doctors offices. But the benefits far outweigh anything negative about this place. The food is great. Anywhere that I can get a perfectly poached egg on a Benny with bacon and ham on it (didn't even have to ask!) on top of a croissant is a great place. On top of that the coffee is good and the friendly servers are always coming to top up your mug before it's empty. Even if it does open a bit late no big deal as I like my weekend breakfast that way. What I look for is great food and great service and Wedgewood Cafe delivers on these fronts.

Wedding guest. I recently went to a wedding there a few weeks ago! The food was processed similar food from Costco or dominion. There were 45 seats and 80 quest. Had to stand for 2 + hours. Ate my meal standing up. ( What i could eat) The waitresses served finger foods, but only provided this to the seated quest! The service was awful! The atmosphere was that of a cheap diner ! Will not recommend this place or ever eat there!

Decent food, weird decor. This cafe-restaurant is in a plaza. Once inside the decor and atmosphere might lead you to expect a showroom for vinyl tile or bathroom fixtures. But no, it's a restaurant. Get past the weird atmosphere and you'll find the waitstaff courteous and the menu inviting. The food presentation is well above what you would find in most plazas.

Wholesome and delightful meals, nicely presented. Friendly service. The best meatloaf and lamb guiness stew! Lovely choice of side vegetables. Easy parking.
