The food and customer service is just fantastic! I went there for the first time because of a friend’s recommendation, and I feel it was the best decision. It’s not like the basic poutine at all. I tried the butter chicken-less cauliflower poutine, and it had the crispy cauliflower fritters that I was craving for so long, along with different sauces that took it to a whole other level. The serving quantity, as well as the quality, are value for money. I don’t go out for eating a lot but whenever I do, I need something that pleases my taste buds and the food here is absolutely worth it.

Smokes Poutines are a must have when you travel! It is just delicious....good staff! I'd recommend to go for a medium size as soon as it is a big portion. Traditional Poutine is good enough (with gravy and Quebec cheese curd). Freshly made fries!!!! If you are picky, so there are many many other options...variety galore based on lots of topping choices. It is definitely good for take out.

Ordered two different poutines and both were bland. The fries, and gravy were both devoid of any flavour, the cheese curds were the only thing I'd give a passing grade, wont be going back there. Too expensive for something even McDonalds can throw together better.

Small portions!!! When I ordered the "wow" size I was expecting a good portion. It was only half way full!!! I understand they have to limit the toppings, but the rest is just potatoes...fill it up!!! For over $20 I expected much more. Won't be returning here.

Poutine is always better in a little mom-and-pop joint in Quebec! But this is really good poutine and it's nation-wide. And the "squeaky" cheese curd is right on. Plus, the variety will please most anyone.

My first time into smokes and I’ll never go back, it was the most disgusting food I’ve ever had. I pretty much paid 40 bucks to sit and drink our water we had because we could stomach the taste of poutines.

So good!!! Anytime we get a night away from the kids, we always get Smoke's the day after as our recovery food and it always hits the spot! My only complaint is that there are too many options to choose from!!! lol

My son and daughter in law took me here for the first time last year, needless to say I fell in love with this place. He order the cheeseburger poutine ( think that what it is called). We did share it the first time because he didn't know if it was my thing. I love poutine. It was sooooo good the next couple times we went I had my own. DELICIOUS..... when we go to St John's first place we head for our poutine fix is here. Highly recommend this place to anyone in or visiting St John's.
