Came in for Muggy Monday and was not disappointed. Live music was great, staff were all friendly and fast and the selection of beer was great. The onion rings were A+ the pub was super busy for a Monday which was a lot of fun! Definitely a great spot on George Street that I'll come back to next time I am visiting!

Loved the #Shamoose promo they did with the St. John's Summer pedestrian mall events. Always a great atmosphere and good pours. Listened to two live performers who engaged the crowed and played at a talkable volume. Thoroughly enjoyed the Shamrock Koolaid and the P*rnStar cocktails.
Had their Blue cheese burger which was mouthwatering!

I have not been there in years but it is a nice place for an afternoon snack. It took a little longer to get our food than I would have liked but the food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean and bright and everything was nice. It was nice watching people go by and it was perfectly situated for our outing. I might drop in the next time I am nearby.

Sunday night was an excellent time at Shamrocks! Live music was energetic but not too loud, the food was tops and super fast. The staff friendly and prompt! An overall 5 out of 5, they earned every star!!

After attending another very friendly local pub yesterday we were totally excited to check this place out. We were however very disappointed. Very unfriendly staff especially what appeared to be the manager. Customer service is not high on their list. Maybe we were there at the wrong time of the day. Would not recommend.

We took our family who were home from the US, and they had a great time! Although we did not eat, we certainly drank, and managed to close the place down. The music was awesome and for a place that was full, our server was exceptional! Not once did we have to ask for drinks she was attentive, we will be back 👍👍

Food is great entertainment is awesome just wish it was a bit bigger and had coat check in the winter but in saying that it's been there so long would not what too take the look away from the place . Love it

Nice cozy place. We tried Moose Meat Burger 🍔 along with Greek Salad 🥗. The presentation was nice and good tasteful. The server was very helpful, efficient, and cheerful!
It was a very pleasant experience, and highly recommended to all!

Shamrock city has the best staff on the pub circle.. Friendly ready to accommodate whatever is needed to make it work . We have had many work functions here when the mainland crowd are in.. Get them screeched in .. Feed them and fill their souls with Irish music. For our functions its shamrock all the way. The music is outstanding.. Worth the night out

Shamrock is a nice place and not to big . Food is good . The fish n chip were good . Sometimes the waiting staff is slow to take your order. Could improve .

Very good food delicious calamari and fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly. A few mistakes with the orders and it was mid afternoon visit and not busy so service was so-so. For something purporting o be an authentic Irish Newfoundland Pub, no Sunday afternoon session, limited fare of traditional ales on tap and a bit of a sterile atmosphere did not help the ambiance. But overall a pleasant experience, and would return, but perhaps in the evening for the entertainment. Thanks..
