Nice atmosphere, the waitress was so incredibly nice. She recommended the tuna tartare and it did not disappoint, so delicious! The portion was perfect for me but might be a bit smaller for others. Also got the Berries Moctail and that was good. I will be returning before I leave, can’t wait to come back and try something else!
Edit: Came back and tried the tuna taco, DELICIOUS. They’re small so I got multiple.

Excellent experience! All the staff was super friendly and the food was incredible. Excellent oysters, tuna sashimi was to die for, Brussel sprouts were so flavourful, tuna taco was delicious! The fish meal I've been craving!

Great cocktails and great food. A small menu and I think a couple more options would help round it out. The crispy fish tacos were a favourite amongst our group. Cauliflower share plate was also very good. If you have oysters, there was a spicy pear purée offered that was delicious if you like some heat. The only dessert option was a sticky toffee pudding, which was a bit on the dry side. The atmosphere is very cool and old comes out as it’s ready, not all at once, which adds to the relaxed, shared meal feel of this place.

Had a delicious dinner and a wonderful experience overall here. Many shareable items/tapas style with a great selection of individual tacos. Loved the Kobe beef taco and the brussel sprouts (special mention for the Korean fried cauliflower)!! The oysters were fresh and the scallop aguachile was great. Staff were quite hospitable and friendly (make a reso)! Would recommend!

We loved the tacos- pulled pork and crispy fish! The scallops sharing plate was mediocre and odd but the tuna poke was great. I really loved the ambiance- a unique club vibe for dining. More fun than your typical dinner- a definite recommend!

Great experience. The server, Willow, was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu. They were a blast to have conversation with and they helped me pick great drinks. The tacos were so tasty and it included a huge portion of fish enough to fill you up.

A must stop while visiting St. John’s, tonight’s forecasted snow storm couldn’t keep us away. Excellent staff, Ian was our exceptional server and we have never been disappointed with our annual visit….we always recommend Adelaide to our friends.

Had high expectations and they were hit through the roof. First, the best dirty martini I’ve had in St. John’s and the oysters were to die for, super nice and briny. The shucker is very good at what they do because all of them were perfect, and the accompanying sauces you get are very tasty. For food I got the jerk chicken sandwich and tacos, both were phenomenal. Service was great too! The only issue I had, and this is gonna be different for everyone but the music was too loud I thought, I couldn’t really hear our server at times or my date and the server also had issue understanding us. The playlist was great tho, really good songs!

My favourite spot in St. John's by a mile. I was here for a week for work and tried all of the popular restaurants but the food and atmosphere here can't be beat. The Oyster selection was top tier with hot sauce, vinaigrette and seafood sauce made in house. The cocktail list is impressive and tasty and the mussels and tacos were great. 10/10 would recommend!!

Crazy good food, never tasted such tasty seafood tapas. Drinks are awesome too, especially the "El Camino". Quality service. Only downside I can think of is the music, it's very loud and doesn't fit the place in my opinion.

The oysters and food were amazing here but the first time we came here they had run out of oysters! But when they did have oysters it was one of the best restaurants in St John’s!

Phenomenal oysters and tapas with an equally fantastic cocktail menu. The atmosphere is great but the highlight is the staff. They make the bar and the entire room feel as if you're having a night in with friends. Truly an experience to have when visiting St. johns. However being this popular means having to get your name on a list and wait for a table. But it's well worth it!

Overall a fun experience. Came here on a Monday night and it was so lively.
The food was absolutely delicious. The oysters are a must. They give you a loud shout out if you’re a oyster virgin. The fish taco is to die for!!! It is a must. The carnita taco was yummy as well. The crispy broccoli was okay, a little too much batter for my liking. And the dumplings were so good!
The service could have been better. The bartenders were focused on a select group of people all night and felt like they were ignoring others.
I recommend coming here for drinks and a bite. You won’t be bored!

Lively and fun atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Decent selection on the menu. It was pretty boisterous on the Friday evening I was there. The Crispy Sambal Squid was excellent. The highlight was the dozen fresh oysters.
Great place to go for a good time & good food. A bit on the noisy side if you’re looking for a quiet intimate meal.
Highly recommend.
