The Gypsy Tea Room - St. John's - Photo album

Spent our anniversary dinner at the Gypsy Tea Room. We've been here previously, but have decided to leave a review as we have a consistent experience at this establishment. Service was excellent. We were checked on frequently, our glasses were never empty, and we were given updates on the arrival o
We had our wedding here and it was everything we wanted! Doug and his staff went above and beyond. They were so accommodating, the environment was so relaxing. He calmed my nerves before the wedding and during (bride). The food was amazing, everybody loved it. The venue was a really good price and i
This restaurant/bar is a nice and fancy place for an evening meal in St. John's. We went in around 21:20 local time and were seated at a table. There was a main menu and a lounge menu, as well as a drink menu. We shared some large nachos and duck wings, which were both superbly cooked. I've never ha

Ate lunch here with our 2 children ages 5 and 7. We ordered soup, poutine and Brie. Everyone enjoyed everything. Our service was very friendly and we really enjoyed our experience here.
The food was unbelievably delicious!! Basically anything that we ordered was great! Staff were super friendly and professional! Loved it!
Beautiful wedding venue with great cocktails. Only negative thing I could note is the business name being a racial slur, which has kept me from going there for years until I attended wedding there. Hopefully they rename it someday soon to be less offensive. Other than the name, great spot. Beautiful
The food was amazing and fresh! The service led by Ashley and helped by Matt and Olivia was also terrific. We had a great time and I would highly recommend you book this for any event or just for a night out in Halifax for great service and food! Loved it and what a great first experience in St John
I am visiting Newfoundland and visited the Gypsy Tea Room. Beautiful restaurant and food, but the real star of the experience was our server Ursula. She went beyond and above and really showed us true Newfoundland Hospitality. We will be back just for her! She had amazing recommendations of the menu
