Absolutely fabulous! Like the new menu structure. The wine pairing was amazing. Update: menu has changed again. Always makes it fresh. If you're going to do the tasting menu, go all in and do the full 7 course. The 5 course tends to be a bit sparse. The 3 course now has much better variety then in t
Amazing. Pretty expensive. We had the 5 course tasting menu + wine pairing. Worth the price. Highlight of our trip. Special thanks to the sommelier she did an amazing job. Local and high quality food.
Excellent service as always! Seated immediately, has a beautiful window view. Offered drinks by waiter extremely fast. Explained the specialty items clearly. Was given bread to start which seemed very fresh. Meals came out fast on hot plates which helped keep the meal warm while eating. Delicious fl
Had an amazing meal here! Came here because Anthony Bourdain dined here during his last trip to Canada. It is the nicest restaurant I’ve seen in St John’s. I did the 7 course menu because I wanted to try everything they had to offer. The portions were small, which I didn’t mind because I don’t eat
I don’t believe there’s anything quite like it other than in Montreal - perhaps! This is fine dining at its best in Canada. Attention is paid down to the last and finest detail. You won’t find better quality, taste and presentation anywhere. Their building is indicative of what you may expect. When
This is a fantastic place to have a meal prepared by one of the greatest chefs in Canada, the famous Jeremy Charles. The menu is a tasting menu, so your selection is limited to one of three set menus... But there is plenty of flexibility within those menus, and as someone that doesn't enjoy seafood,
The service and food were spectacular, hence the reason this place is one of the top restaruants in Newfoundland. Yes the price might be a little high for some, but well worth it. Not a place to come to if you're looking for a burger or wings.
I had the three course dinner as opposed to the five or seven. I also had a wine pairing with each course. Each course was rich and satisfactory. From the flavored butter with the table bread to the vegetarian stuffed pasta, to cod and desert. Top restaurant of my year for sure. Well done Raymond's!
excellent service, lovey food. enjoyed our 7 course wine pairing... except for the pork... fell very flat
Had a wonderful dining experience here on vacation. Dining room is spacious, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive--not at all stiff/stuffy the way waitstaff can be at other similar fine dining establishments. Tasting menu was reasonably-priced (for the se
A high end dining experience, the food was fantastic and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. If you are in St. John's and looking for a unique east cost dining experience this should be the top of your list.
Came in as one and sat at the bar. Had the seven course with wine pairings. Memorable and worth the price. Great job Raymond’s!!
Great service and food. We did the five course dinner with wine pairing. Expensive, but worth it.
Fantastic five course meal. Great attentive service. I can see why this restaurant made Canada's Top 100 list!
First time there and it was an amazing experience. The ambiance and food were great! Highly recommend the 3 course dinner and wine pairing.
This place was incredible. Now I see why they were ranked Canada best fine dining restaurant in Canada in 2017!
This is a super fancy high end dining! I had a 3 course meal and my beau opted for a 7 course meal. We don't like alcohol, so didn't have any wine. It is more of an experience than anything else.. Our waitress was extremely courteous! Mind boggling how she remembered the long menus by heart :-) The
Service is perfect. Food is delicate, full of different textures and beautifully presented.
A high end restaurant with a reasonable food and decent wine list. Great service and ambience. The only drawback is that we booked a table for 9 pm and we only managed to get the table 25 minutes later. Reception tried to alleviate our dissatisfaction by offering us a glass of sparkling wine. It
