Excellent vegan and tofu options. I have eaten here a few times now and I have to tell you it's the best Asian food in the city! Check out photos of the mapo and spring rolls (it comes with two) because the portions are huge. The prices are very reasonable and most important the food is fantastic. Very friendly service. It's a shame that the big corporate restaurant is packed while this place is empty. It would be nice if we'd also support our local authentic original family restaurants that serve awesome food like this place. If you're going to try a restaurant, let it be this one as you won't be disappointed. April 5th 2019. January I just ate at this new place last night, wow what an excellent meal! The food is authentic Chinese-style, and this may not be the place for you, if you're a fan of Mandarin buffet or a common Chinese restaurant. They have some great vegan options, I would highly recommend this place for vegans and non-vegans. The place looks great, (it does not look like a Chinese style restaurant), clean and the server was very friendly and accommodating. We had the spicy pepper tofu which is fried tofu food then sauteed with some peppers and onions (very tasty); garlic eggplant (there's four other options of styles you can have for this); and Manchurian tofu (it was extremely spicy, which is what I love, but you can ask for more mild), and this may have been my favorite. I have to say it was sad to see the place empty on a Saturday night, while your typical Chinese restaurant across the street is packed, what a shame as this food is homemade and tastes fantastic. The portions were large and we ordered three dishes along with three small bowls of rice, and tea (too much food as we had to take some home) and the bill came to about $36+ taxes.

Ordered Mama’s Fried Vermicelli with chicken and shrimp, along with Honey Garlic Wings (6 ct.). My girlfriend ordered the Chili Beef Chow Mein, which she enjoyed. The food tasted delicious and fresh! The wings were my favorite!!! Everyone there was very inviting and the bathrooms were clean! I will definitely check this place out again.

This is a good place to have your break and relax inside after your meal. The food served was tasty and sumptuous and got ready soon after your order. The place is neat and the wash room is also clean. The service is good and the person who serves is courteous and all people connected are helpful. There is a display of materials and souvenirs on the wall which are very good. We have tasted Asian preparations in many countries from my childhood and the preparation at XO Kitchen has captivated me and my family.

Received a pamphlet in the mail for this place and the menu looked pretty good so we thought we'd give it a try. The restaurant is a little hidden but its decorated nicely. Our server Anna was a total sweetheart, very nice girl, she told us all about the menu and answered all our questions. She also told us everything is made in house and from scratch - It shows!!! We started with egg rolls and the tofu in chili oil. The tofu was amazing, the flavour of the sauce was unreal. We then had the chicken curry and two orders of boiled fish in chili oil with rice. Everything was fantastic, perfectly spiced and moist fish with lots of veggies. Food and service were top notch! Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!!

Delicious. Great portions and awesome staff. My order was Vegetable Egg Foo and Sweet and Sour pork. Blown away. The Egg Foo Young was fresh, and stacked full of veggies. HUGE portion. The price is right and they have a solid menu. Give XO a try, you won't leave hungry! Also, Thank you to the staff who went beyond to ask me how my day was and made some great small talk. Now thats good service.

They just open about 7 weeks, awesome place, great designs. The food here is fantastic, a lot of dishes they have you won’t find them anywhere else in St Catharines. Few of my favorite dish here are Crispy beef (little spicy), Manchurian Chicken (very spicy), Chili Chicken (very spicy), Curry dishes, Stewed Chicken with Three cup sauces En Casserole, Deep Fried Chicken, Few of the tofu dishes too and vermicelli noodles. If you haven’t been here I definitely recommend to try them out or else you are missing out on the good stuff, the real Chinese food!

Great little Chinese place tucked away in the SkyZone plaza. We've ordered take out and we've dined in and we've been satisfied with the food and service in both scenarios. We requested the basic take out menu when we dined in which offered more traditional "North American- Chinese take-out" offerings (egg rolls, chicken balls, chow mein, chicken fried rice, etc). The food was really good and the presentation when we ordered in was quite nice. Would recommend!

Really good! Was out that way to meet someone for a Kijiji pickup and saw this place in the same plaza so decided to try it. We had the lunch menu general Tao chicken, chilli fish, and shrimp with chow mein noodles, all of it was good. The place is nice and clean and the service was good too. Will be going back again for sure.

Very friendly and welcoming! My children love coming here, and we always feel welcomed. Mapo tofu, veggie dishes, soups and rice dishes are our family favourites here. Cute decor and friendly people! 💜

Nicely renovated and new decor. The menu has lots if choices and reasonably priced. Easy to find and lots of parking. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. This place should be packed as it seems to be still gaining some publicity in the city.
