I always love this place since the first time I went. The ambience, the service is amazing, food is always fresh and the best Asian taste in the region and many other places in Canada. Their prices definitely are great and worth every pennie you spend here . Great to go solo , with family ,a date or friends trust me you will love this place too . Thank you to Asian Legend for always giving me and my family the best service , very much appreciated.

Took our Mom here for Mothers Day late brunch and ordered a few entrees to share with the family. Service and food was great! And the seasoning was perfect. I’d come back again to try out the other dishes.

We drove around looking for something to eat and decided to try this place and we were glad we did. We loved the sweet and sour chicken dish and overall all of the food was delicious! The service was also great, never felt neglected or rushed. I would definitely come back! I would recommend you order one or two main dishes at a time as we ordered three and it was enough to feed a family of 5. Also the pork buns were delicious!

Very underrated Chinese restaurant here! Don't be put off because it's a chain, it is absolutely delicious and the setting is beautiful. We ordered the half duck and the house fried noodle special. Service was very pleasant and the food was reasonably priced for what you get. I will definitely return !

My very favorite place for Asian Food in both Saint Catharine’s and in Toronto. Service is always quick and pleasant in each location.

Asian legend is a nice restaurant offers Chinese foods. You should have reservations for this restaurant although it isn't usually particularly busy. The food there is great and it comes quickly.

My family goes here quite often, and we don't often deviate from the menu. Here and there we try something new. All the items we've tried were fantastic. The flavor is good, nothing too greasy. Spice levels are approachable. Mindy is one of the regular servers there - she always remembers us, (even after the first time), and always remembers our dishes. "No, that's not the one you had last time, you ordered xx.." She's always bubbly and smiling and very friend. All the staff are very good there, but Mindy makes our experience good every time.. Restaurant is very clean and the food is always prepared as expected. Never have had a poor meal there. Would recommend Asian Legend to anyone looking for a good meal...

Went here for dinner on the 25th. We had to wait for more than 30 mins. Manager (Tom) that night was super rude. Saying that we should have reserved. When i said we tried but was told they don't take reservations for tonight, he reasoned that every table is already reserved when i called. Then a group of 8 came after us and was given a table even without a reservation. When i complained because we were ahead of them by at least 20 minutes he reasoned back "did you see me take them'?? I said but are you not the manager and what's the point if putting us on the que list if nobody follows it anyway. It's sad because I don't see Brian here a lot and i used to go here almost weekly with my family but not recently. This manager needs to be retrained if not fired. Our server is the saving grace. She is super nice and did her best to make up for the shortcomings. The food is still superb but the experience that night is horrible.

Terrible!!!!

When we walked in no one said hello and we waited for 10 minutes and no one sat us down. Once we were at our table no one gave us tea and we had to ask for it. than we waited almost half an hour for our food to come. THEY ARE NOT EVEN BUSY!!!!!!! dont know why it took so long for our food to come and there were so many cooks in the kitchen too. Once our food came it was good, but when we paid the bill and walked out no one said thank you . We left our left over food at the table because we forgot it but no one remind us about our left over food when we were leaving the restaurant. I called the restaurant if our food was still there and they said they throw it out already... we only left the restaurant for like 10 minutes and they throw our food out already WOW!!!!! IF I WERE YOU GUYS I WOULD ONLY ORDER TAKEOUT THERE , DON BOTHER TO EAT IN BECAUSE YOU WON'T GET SERVE AS QUICKLY AND WILL GET HORRIBLE SERVICE ....WE will only be taking out from now on

I've been a customer for quite a long time. From the day they opened till this February. They used to have amazing customer service and spectacular food. But idk why it all changed at the end of 2013. It was a huge disappointment for me since I always go there. They add up the tip to bill automatically, it's ok you could've at least told your customers. Some of us didn't know so they paid tips again. It was 25 or 30% tips in total.

A joke. Terrible. Tastes like frozen chinese you can make at home. Terrible service. Lots of wait staff walking around doing nothing. food was cold as well.. NEVER again.

Been here quite a few times. The food is OK, not spectacular but you get a lot considering you're paying a lot for Chinese food. Service is not great. We had a god awful recent experience that we will never go again. We ordered General Tao chicken and it came back soft and lukewarm. Our server forgot about our table when we were the only ones there. Waited over an hour to see our waiter from when we got our food. We ended up walking up and asking for our bill. We could have walked out and they wouldn't have noticed. Much better food quality and prices elsewhere. Would not recommend.

0/2. Twice ordered takeout. First time for pickup. Ordered at 4:35 and was told 25 min for pickup. After sitting there for 40 min I got my food.
Second time was delivery. Late on a Sunday. Was told an hour for delivery. After an hour and ten we called. Was told food was ready just wanting for delivery driver to come. We drove down and picked it up.
So, not only is their service bad but the food is not very good as well.
Have tried a bunch if things and nothing stands out. It's just bland boring food.
Better places around IMO.

Tried three dishes - Fish maw soup, xiao loong bao and Peking duck. The first course of duck alone carried the meal - although it is quite difficult to mess up "lee Kum kee" hoi son sauce, scallions, rice flour pancakes and duck. The soup tasted as if the cook dumped a shaker of white pepper into the pot. Second course of the duck (lettuce wraps) was heavily sauced and pan fried with corn starch. It came with six pieces of lettuce - enough for two. Unfortunately there were three of us so we we forced to ration the leaves. Soup buns were okay - wrapper was not too thick. Flavour-wise they were nothing to write home about.

The decor was much too modern and the bathrooms too clean for a genuine quality Chinese restaurant. Tea lacked the inclusion of typical jasmine or oolong tea leaves suggesting that it had been bulk steeped and dispensed just like a cup of Tim hortons tea.

I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who has experienced real Chinese food (especially the good stuff found in the West Coast or Markham)

Two stars. One for the food, one for the staff (they DID have Mainland accents)

WCRC (west coast restaurant connoisseur)

Horrible Service. Decided to visit after a friend told us that he had a good experience there and loved the soup. We ordered 2 separated orders on the piece of paper left of the table. One soup arrived after quite a bit of a wait. The other soup 30 minutes later had not arrived. When asking the waitress we requested cancelling the soup and moving out to our entree. She said if it was ready she couldn't cancel it. Why wouldn't both types of soup come together? She said it was ready and it clearly had just been served when she went back there because it was steaming hot. Not wanting to argue we asked for it to go. Then had to ask when our food was coming. Another 10 minutes later our food came. Then had to proceed to track down someone to fill our water once. The food was good so we may return for take out but the service definitely turned me off the place. Especially since the waitress never apologized even after we were super polite.

Great decor and pretty good food. A little oily though. Service is decent as well. Prices are okay if you spilt it with a big group. I would go back again.

Tough Call. I had a Friday evening recently where my wife was working late, our son was sleeping at a friend's, which only left me and my daughter. She is adventurous when it comes to food, for a 6 year old and knows what she likes. I asked her what she wanted for supper and she shouted "Chinese". To sum it up quickly, the food that we ordered, tofu and pork in a spicy sauce, a fried noodle with shrimp and chicken and a fried rice with shrimp and pork were very good. We also ordered Dim Sum, pan fried chicken and pork dumplings. I enjoyed them both as well. The menu is likely one of the most extensive Chinese restaurant menus in the area. The menu does not have Canadian type Chinese items such as Chicken Balls or Fried Egg Rolls, so the food is a little more authentic. The service they need to work on. Our dim sum took almost 25 minutes to arrive. Our water glasses sat empty and tracking someone down was difficult. At the time I was there, they did not have a liquor license yet, but were expecting one. Overall, I would say the Chinese food here is a little more Chinese than Chinese Canadian, the quality and the flavours were nothing I left there saying was the absolute best. As I said, tough call.

This used to be our go to Peking Duck place in Richmond Hill however we believe the quality has dipped a bit there and decided to go elsewhere for Peking Duck. I still like the restaurant though! To keep a chinese franchise this good is something quite difficult to do as all restaurant chains would seem to differ, however they are quite consistent throughout!
