Review Hibachi Beef Noodles - St. Catharines

A hidden gem in St. Catharines! We had the Brisket noodle soup and house special, it was the perfect temperature, noodles were cooked perfectly, beef was tender, and the broth was so flavorful. The service was pretty quick too. Will definitely be coming back!

Found this place based on all the great reviews and it didn't disappoint. We got the green onion pancakes and the beef brisket ramen for takeout. Great portion sizes and very yummy food!

Awesome beef noodle! Much better than the ones found in GTA in my opinion. Due to staff shortage dine-in experience is like eating at a fast food restaurant but the food quality is unmatched.

A real hidden gem For all you ramen fans This is worth a try If you like authentic Taiwanese style food you will not be disappointed The service is fast and no frill It's basically self service and food is in generous portion but served in recycle ale plastic containers whereby you can take out or bring home whatever you can't finish when you dine in It's a simple layout but the taste of the food! The only thing that I find confusing was the name HIBACHI which doesn't relate to the real identity of this gem Not to mention the picture of the bull's head which makes me think that it was a Vietnamese pho noodle joint In a way it's a good thing because it's not fully discovered yet I guess Regardless give it a try Yes the beef brisket ramen is my fav so far Well I'm going back for moreĀ”!!!

Frequent customer of this delicious restaurant. Friendly local business with super-friendly wait staff. They can speak Mandarin and basic-Cantonese. Excellent prices with huge portions. Kitchen is very fast and your food comes at the perfect temperature. Wide variety of soup-base and stir-fry dishes. You will leave full. The beef broth itself will keep you coming back. Complimentary bottomless hot green tea. Simple but fitting interior design with clean individual washrooms stalls to provide good privacy. Free Onsite Parking. Bus stops in front of strip mall. No WiFi.

The best noodles I've had in the city. I'm no expert on noodle dishes but I tried this place out of curiosity and I am definitely coming back. I ordered C8. Beef brisket with sliced noodles and God damn do they give you a lot. I got halfway through before I couldn't eat anymore (even though I really wanted to eat more). I definitely would reccomend this place.

All the reviews on google for this place are accurate. It might throw new people off because it is not clear that there is no table service. If you aren't used to this style of restaurant it can be awkward and frustrating. You need to go to the front and grab an menu, then ring the bell when you're ready for your order. The food is extremely good, fresh and reasonably priced. It is very authentic, definitely not an American-chinese style restaurant. The beer brisket soup was amazing, wife had it. I'm a little more adventurous and had the tripe stirfry. It was amazing. We enjoyed our meal so much we ordered 2 more meals and 2 more apps to go. The (owner?) Even suggested one item wasn't recommended for take away, and suggested something that traveled better. Definitely will go again.

I honestly wish I could give a higher rating as this restaurant has the best selection of appetizers and not to mention the main courses. This place is without a doubt the best Chinese food spot in all of southern Ontario none of these Toronto restaurants even come close to the quality as well as fairness in prices. Thank you for the great service.

THE Chinese food!. Prior to coming to Hibachi Cafe for the first time my perception of Chinese food was obviously crooked by usual Chinese restaurant that basically only offer three flavours: spicy, sweet and corn starch. At Hibachi I experienced very interesting new flavours and I was delighted to explore authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu is great, lots to choose from and the friendly staff has always patiently explained to me what is what, if I asked. Everything I've tried so far was delicious a interesting. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. This is my new favorite place to eat in town.

Uneven. I was happy to see a new Asian restaurant open in the North end. The place is clean and friendly, and the menu extensive. I initially ordered the hot and sour soup which is very good, with generous amounts of tofu, sprouts and other ingredients, the broth also tasty - would have like chicken, but otherwise not bad at all. I tried other dishes, and nothing really stood out. Rather bland. Haven't tried the sushi - but will someday. The last time I ordered soup to go, it had obviously been heated in a burned container. The taste of burnt food ruined the otherwise very good soup. I haven't gone back since, but wish them all the best.

This used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant around, but they changed their menu a while ago and the fantastic choices of food are just gone now. They have very limited choices (mainly beef ramen soup), especially if you're vegetarian. It's frustrating and sad that they changed an awesome menu and made it into a below average one. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in the mood for beef ramen soup.

-----22 Feb, 2014-----

It's definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the city (and I tried many). The environment is so warm, the owners are very friendly, and the food is delicious! I feel lucky to have this place close to my apartment.

Hidden Gem. This place is truly a hidden gem for the city. The wait staff were so friendly, and the food was simply amazing. Can't wait to go back

A step up from the average strip mall restaurant. The decor is quite nice, the food is excellent and good value and the staff - who I believe are the owners - are friendly. I'm working my way through there extensive menu and have not been disappointed.

Not Perfect But Great. Did takeout from here. General Tso's chicken, chicken fried rice, egg roll and miso soup The Miso soup was a little weak but still pretty good. The eggroll was good. nothing amazing but tasted good. But the Genereal Tso's and chicken fried rice was amazing. Seriously amazing. Best I think I have ever had. The service was a little chaotic but only took 10-15. I recommend this place for sure.
