Love this place ..def best thai place round. You get good amount of food for the price! Besides food being excellent, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.
Absolutely amazing all around my only complaint is no white Zinfandel by the glass. Please fix that and you will be a 6 star!!! Staff is attentive and awesome food is out of this world. Yummy!
Went there for a birthday dinner (12 people) a few days ago. Service was efficient and friendly, food was fantastic (as always, I have been there dozens of times over the years) and the prices were very reasonable. Spicy Thai has been among my favourite restaurants and a "go to" place for over 10 years now. Do not let the neighbourhood or exterior influence you. The inside was recently renovated and it is very nice. They will also make almost any dish neutral (no spice), so you do not have to leave anyone out. I order my dishes neutral and they are still very flavorful, just not hot.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant around! I eat here at least once a week, always fresh flavors, friendly staff, fast service. I have never, not once been disappointed, chefs are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Do not let the neighbourhood scare you off.... Spicy Thai is definitely the diamond in the neighbourhood.

Best jasmine rice in the region!!! I know rice is the basic in dishes but not everywhere knows how to make it well. This is hands down the best thai restuarant in st. Catharines.
We have dined here twice and have been so pleased. The Thai food served is delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is charming. Lettuce wraps have become our new favourite appetizer! And to top it off the staff are pleasant and accommodating. Can't wait to return!

I was excited to eat here. Parking was the only issue but the old bingo hall across the street took care of that! The food and the ambiance was incredible and was reasonable but lunch menus are more on the economical side.
I'd definitely enjoy going there on a monthly basis <3

My colleague and I were looking for a place to eat for dinner. We stumbled to Spicy Thai by chance and we were glad it happened. The food was just phenomenal. We ordered the basil shrimp and tofu cashew entree. We also tried a chip appetizer, which was on the house. What was great was the spice level. We wanted the meals to be extra spicy and they certainly did just that. This place is a definite big hit.

We went for lunch. The place is nice and cozy. Host/server was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and for a change, the spice level was good. The homemade chili oil was spicy and added good flavor. Highly recommend this place and we will come back again when we are on this side.
Such great Thai food! Some of the most authentic I’ve ever had. The Tuesday special is also such a great deal!

This is a hidden gem!! When we went there it was not crowded at all.
We tried Calamari and fried dumplings for appetizer, Bangkok style pad thai and a duck curry with rice for the main dish. They are really big dishes. AMAZING food!!!

The best service we have had in YEARS! We were there for dinner on December 11, 2021 and I can’t express how lovely the staff at Spicy Thai are. Absolutely incredible, warm, kind people. And the food is amazing. Great for celiacs as they have lots of gluten free items to choose from that are sooooo delicious. We travelled 2 hours to get here and we will go back again and again. I could not recommend this place enough. 11/10.
We visited The Spicy Thai in St. Catherine's on Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the Pad Thai and the Spicy beef. We asked that the Spicy beef be mild and we found it was spicy enough but not overly so. The service was fantastic. Our server was attentive and helpful. I would definitely go to the Spicy Thai when we are in St. Catherine's again.
