Went for a drive to St. Alberta and came across this gem. Probably the best pizza I’ve had! It was served hot, loaded with cheese, tasty sauce, and a crust that Goldilocks would call “just right”! Not too thin that it became soggy and limp. Nor was it so thick that you felt you were eating a loaf of bread! This will be the pizza that I will use to compare all others that I eat when I don’t return here for another pie!
This is the best pizza in St. Albert. They have a wide variety and gluten free crust as well. The staff is very friendly and quick to get the orders up. I suggest ordering to pick up. Salads are great too. When you pick up they give you a free slush or water.
I love their super donairs. Great price for awesome food. I've always ordered in the restaurant for take out and they are always very quick and efficient while keeping up with the quality of their food.
The pizza is top notch, and the service is generally very fast, so long as they are not swamped with orders. When they are swamped, you can see lots of chefs working hard in the back getting orders ready! It is very obvious why this is a local favourite just from watching them work.
I have recently tried several of their recipe pizzas, including John's Delight, Buccini Deluxe, and the donair pizza, and they were all great. Since the donair pizza was so good, I tried the donair itself, and no surprise, it was fantastic! Get it loaded and enjoy.
(Bonus: We love that they give us a slurpee with our order of 2 medium pizzas.)
Food is amazing! You have to try the donair pizza it is so yummy. Good price for two mediums and wings. I keep coming back because of how good they are!
I work close by so myself and my coworkers usually order pizza here and have it delivered to our work place. Pizza here is good, but I think a bit over priced. We usually all pitch in and buy the pizza, which is not a bad deal. Not sure if I will order pizza here for myself, but when we do order from work, I am always in for ordering here.
Nitzas #1. Just a quick reply to John Laureano comment, first of all i have been ordering from Nitza's Pizza St Albert for years and years and now you can say they have reached perfection! From my experience , the management at Nitza's does not tolerate any mistakes, from my understanding and experience, Nitzas customers are their number 1 priority and maybe the reason to why the manager asked for the wings back is to make a point to the new employee and not have it happen again; and as to what you mentioned about whats going to be done to the wings, I am sure that the food that has been sitting out for a while is going to be thrown out just like any other place would , DUHH! My point to this is appreciate the service you are recieving at Nitzas because you will not get the same service with their amazing food anywhere else!
I'm really impressed with Nitza's pizza! First time ordering. .. delivery was fast and friendly; food was hot and delicious; quality ingredients. I will now only order my pizza from Nitza's!
Went there for an early dinner with our son. They were so friendly and nice. The food was really really good. We will definitely be going back!!!!

Amazing Pizza & Customer Service!. I was very well impressed by the hospitality I recieved while having my first pizza at Nitza's! It was one of the very best I've tried and the employee's were very kind. Nitza's was also VERY clean which is a super plus! Definitely recommend to anyone anytime of day! Donair pizza was amazing!!

I wrote a review last year about Nitzas sub par donairs and I stand by it. With that said, I tried their pizza recently and have to say they have a great donair pizza. Odd I know, how does the same place excel at donair pizza but fall short with a donair. I have no clue how that happens but their donair pizza is one of the best I've had in the area. I also tried their Tropicana pizza which was chicken, pineapple, onions, garlic and asiago - it sounded good on paper but taste wise was just "meh". I'll definitely come back for the donair pizza but could do without the Tropicana.

What A Shame. Always in search of a good donair place I had high hopes for Nitza's. I generally order the largest donair size a place offers as I can eat a lot and love a good donair loaded with meat. Nitza's only offered a regular and a super donair size so I ordered one super loaded. Nitza's only offers the traditional cheese, onion and tomato toppings which is usually a good sign as this means the generous helping of tasty donair meat will be front and center. Boy was I wrong! When they called my name I went to pick up my donair which was in a brown paper bag and it literally felt as though they had put in some napkins and forgot to put the donair in!? It had to be the lightest donair I've ever encountered which was unsettling given that it was their largest size. When I got home and opened up what looked like what most places call a regular/small sized donair I saw what I had expected to see (unfortunately) - a very pathetic few strips of donair meat. What a huge disappointment! What little meat there was seemed like it hadn't been cooked enough and the sauce was average at best but overall I still couldn't get over how underwhelming the portion was and that I paid almost a full $10 for it!?! I should have taken a hint when I saw all the "Best of St Albert" certificates on the wall were for pizza's not donairs. What a shame.
Great Pizza!. Ordered a large donair pizza and a large chicken ranch. Absolutely fantastic pizza. The toppings, the crust, the portion and the price are unbeatable in St Albert. Why go anywhere else?
Heard about nitzas from so many people...so thought id give it a try! And let me tell u i will go no where else but NITZAS!! Awesome awesome awesome ...love the food love the staff great job guys keep up the great work :)
An actually good donaire pizza. I've had my fair share of of good and bad pizza, and despite liking donairs, I've never liked the donair pizza.
After the rave reviews from a friend, I gave the strange creature of the donair pizza another try. It was great. The other pizza were good to, but it was clear where was the star of the show.
And I'm always glad to see another independent resto make good food in the area.
Great pizza and fast delivery. Their pizzas and meatballs are delicious. Delivery is super fast. We love this place.
Our fast food fix!. Being new to St Albert, this place has quickly become our late night staple! Always fresh ingredients and friendly delivery service, I would never consider ordering pizza elsewhere at 1 am!

Decent find - glad I didn't go to Cajun House. I actually came here as a backup... lol. Glad I did! The pizza is so fresh here and the service is so friendly. They even sell slushies here! This is not a sit-down restaurant like Royal Pizza. I mean, there is an option to sit down but it's meant for people who are waiting for their pizza to be cooked. There are drivers folding pizza boxes while they are waiting to deliver pizzas. It becomes very loud very fast so just come in get your pizza and enjoy it somewhere else ASAP.
I'm not sure if I liked my donair pizza with that sweet donair sauce all over it but my friend likes it. I liked his pepperoni, bacon, and italian sausage pizza much more. This is a great place that deserves to exist. Please support them and not that PIzza 73 and Famoso crap. Thanks.

Consistently good food, but consistently late deliveries. Its good if you have time to wait an extra 30-60mins for delivery. Better off picking up, but if you're leaving the house for pizza you may as well go to Capital pizza for a superior tasting pizza (who doesn't deliver).

Definitly a Buy. I'd go here again in a heartbeat! Fast service, good fries and really good pizza! Only problem was one time the pizza was undercooked, but for everyother time i went it was very good!
Great food!!. Very yummy food. The donairs are great but would be perfect if they added shredded lettuce to them. My kids love their fries dipped into a side of donair sauce.

Been going here since I was a kid. Love their donairs and donair pizza. They're great members of the community and are heavily involved with schools and sports teams in St Albert. Peter and staff are quiet. But friendly
Hawiian Pizza is the best!. My wife doesn't like Pizza in general but she'll say yes to Nitza's Hawiian pizza :)
I lika da sauce. I've been a long-time patron of Nitza's, back when it was still called A-1 pizza and donair. Sam always remembers me and what I like to order. I really like how they slice their donair meat nice and thin, makes for a much better donair experience. Their donair sauce is always nice and thick n' sweet. Just the way I like it! As an added bonus, they always have cute, friendly girls working behind the counter so it's always a pleasure to go in and order.
Great food and by far some of the nest customer service you'll get. My boyfriend and I called to order pizza one night and they were all ready closed. Theme owner made our pizza, waited for us to come pick it up, opened the doors for us, and wouldn't even accept a tip for his service. He did of all with a big smile!!!
Omg this I sthe best pizza I have ever tasted I love it especially the cheese with donair sause pizza even the capicoli piZza is really good every time I go up there they give me a free slush I love it everyone is so friendly except one lady

Nitza's has the best pizza in St. Albert. Our family has frequented this place for years. They have a great crust and do not scrimp on the toppings. They also offer some unique varietys. Check out the back of the St. Albert phone book you will find a menu there PS they often offer a free slurped when you pick up your order.
