Great Vietnamese, had the peanut soup and vegetarian salad rolls, all the flavors where perfect.Best in town, definitely recommend for Spruce Grove. Large portions too.
This place is great. They have a huge menu and everything I've tried is so good. Large portions too. Faves are the salad rolls and various vermicelli bowls. Very good value for the dollar. Basic cafe decor but very clean.
*sigh* Why no delivery? At our age it's hard to get around. Still we do the whole pick-up thing a few times every quarter, as the food is always well above acceptable.
Simply put: One of the best places to eat in Spruce Grove.
Just discovered this gem!
The young chow fried rice and the szechuan beef is incredible! The best!
Very good customer service.
Haven't ate in yet always get take out and have not been disappointed yet. Fast and great service.
Great food. Excellent servic.... Great food. Excellent and very friendly service. Large portions. What more can you ask for? One of the best Asian places around. We will be back as soon as possible!
We usually end up at a different Vietnamese restaurant that is closer to home but always enjoy Thang Long. The specials are always great but the classic Pho and vermicelli standbys are solid choices too.
I will only order Asian food from thang long. The food is delicious, the waitress we normally get is a peach, and I never leave feeling gross or greasy. Nothing better than their wonton soup, coconut rice, or vermicelli bowls. Just so good and reasonably priced. You won't regret eating here :)
Perfect. We have been going here since this restaurant opened and have experienced consistent great food. I wont have spring rolls anywhere else but I have to order them when we eat here. We also LOVE their Pad Thai, which is made authentically and has always been perfectly prepared. Just be prepared for spice! Although they are wonderful about putting less spice in for those with a more sensitive palate, spice is normal for most the food. Other favorites here are the "sizzling coconut chicken grill," "Mango Salad," Vietnamese chicken wings, Thai red curry beef, coconut rice, and pineapple pork.
Thang Long, Spruce Grove. Fabulous food. Particularly love the Salad Rolls with Peanut Sauce (a full order is a take-out supper for me) and shanghai noodles which are not on the menu but are a frequent special. Ambience is nothing special and in fact the restaurant is a little plain (but very clean). But since I am going for the food....pretty is a pretty does.... ambience does not mean good food and the good food wins.
I love this place!. Excellent service, excellent prices and such good food.
The Pad Thai is fantastic, the stir fry very good ( though a little too much sauce ) and the seafood udon soup is ridiculously tasty!
This is the best Asian food in the grove! The ginger beef, mango prawns, and green onion cakes are a few of my favorite dishes. Never had a bad experience here!
Our Fav!. My Husband and I frequent this restaurant. It's always good!
Wonderful food!. I go there often with my Japanese wife and children. The food is always great, and the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.... one of Spruce Grove's best kept secrets.

First time trying this type of cuisine, was very impressed. Food arrived in less than 10 minutes and was delicious.
Best chicken pho I have ever had..
Thang Long is hands down the best restaraunt I have ever eaten at. My husband and I eat here usually once a week. I am very pleased with the large menu, as well as how many vegetarian options there are. The food is always so fresh and delicious. I am always impressed by the cleanliness of the restaraunt, as well as the politeness of the staff.
Fabulous meals. A lot of food for your dollar. Fantastic dishes.
Delicious fresh Vietnamese Food! Prompt polite service.
Love, love, love the hot & sour soup. Great service too.
Excellent Coconut Curry. The prices are a little high but the ingredients were very fresh. I had the coconut curry chicken and it was so good! It had just the right amount of spice to it (so many restaurants play it safe) and the flavor was truly delectable. Try their coconut rice and you will not be disappointed =)
I've lived I'm Spruce my whole life, I'm happy to have more choices and variety with this restaurant. I am a big fan of Thang Long and have brought many people there and recommended it every chance I get. I get ok service when I dine in. My only complaint is that they aren't open Monday's! So many times my friends and I crave the food and it seems to always be on a Monday! That's a really weird day to be closed, specially for a restaurant.

The food is great, good soup and noodlebowls. However the kitchen staff screaming at each other on new years eve was a little off-putting... Menu seems to be different every time we go in. A little pricy for certain dishes, it's no "Hoang Long" (Edmonton), but the best Vietnamese I've had in Spruce Grove so far.
Food was very good, our new favorite. Everything made fresh to order. Best Ginger beef we have had, will definitely be coming back to try more of the hundred plus menu items!
Our thang long email. Our email is thanglongrestaurant@hotmail.com please contact us if you have any suggestions OR concerns
thanks
New but experienced. This new addition to the Spruce Grove dining scene may be brand new, but the chef is well experienced in the cuisine from a similar restaurant in Edmonton.
We had a mixed Vietnamese rice bowl, which was delicious. Lemongrass beef, lemongrass chicken and a skewer of three large grilled shrimp lay on a bed of rice noodles, lettuce, cucumber, pickled carrots, all over rice, with an enchanting sauce on the side to dip in.
Considering that this was on September 27th, it's first day open, one could expect a few glitches, the biggest being they could only accept cash.
The owner told me that they have to wait six months before they can get a liquor license, so, for the time being it is tea, soft drinks or juice.
They cover a whole gamut of Asian food, from Vietnamese, to Thai, Chinese and Japanese.
Located in Grove Plaza in part of where the old Post Office used to be.
