The sweet and sour chicken with fried rice was delicious! Very friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend! Very good bubble tea with many flavors.

Excellent family run small Chinese resto. We only ordered the Wor Won Ton soup, which was AMAZING AMAZING! I very highly recommend this one! Full of bbq pork, tons of vegetables, seafood, and won tons. The broth is delicious, better than many of the reviews I’ve done for comparable restos on the mainland. Very good number of won tons are given, so no worries there. Actually we were completely stuffed with just one bowl each, it is big (portion size is excellent). Very fast and nice service, and appears very popular with the locals, there was lots of customers in and out. Definitely a great place to go when in Sooke for won tons! We will need to try more dishes at some point!

Great little gem out in Sooke BC, if you're in the mood for some classic Chinese food 😋 this is the place to go. Food was hot fresh and tasted exactly as I would have hoped. We called ahead on our way home from Langford. I highly recommend this place for a quick easy meal.

These folks SLAY!!! They know how to make a meeaaaaaan Chinese dinner. Eat at happy village and you’ll feel like a winner! I was fed for WEEKS! I was stranded in the wilderness for 13 nights, 15 days and survived SOLEY off the contents of my happy village order. I owe them my life Bless up, Kyle

I had Beef and Broccoli with chowmein, my husband had szechuan Beef, everything was really very good. Big portion, quick and nice service. Great Chinese restaurant.

Mmmmm Amazing ginger beef! Best I found in a while.. lots of real minced ginger ..I often ask for extra sauce :-) A little pricey , but great portion size and worth it😀

I took my son here tonight for dinner for the first time and the food was so good! We had the honey garlic chicken and the pork with chow mein. Yummy! The chicken was crunchy on the outside and then soft on the inside with a perfect flavor and the chow mein was really good as well. The portions are big so We both ended up with leftovers. The staff there are also really kind and attentive. We will 100% be back. My son even said he could eat that honey garlic pork and chow mein every day for the rest of his life 😂

We enjoyed it! We got it delivered to the sooke flats campground in 45 mins, fast and friendly service as mentioned in other reviews. The vegetables were nice and crispy and the noodles were thick. We got the dinner for 2 and was not disappointed. I love Chinese food and always make a point to find a place to order from haha. We are visiting from langford and will definitely make a point to get more when we are in the area again!

Popular with the locals. They had a high chair for my 8 month old. They have a local beer on tap served in a chilled mug. ShawOpen Wi-Fi available. They accept credit cards.

Excellent! Generous portions. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Staff are very attentive and lovely people. Clean. Good variety on the menu. Lots of seating. Convenient location (great for people watching too lol) Unfortunately not the best parking (out of their control) but there is overflow parking into the next lot by the pharmacy just a few more steps away. They do dine in, take out and delivery. Highly recommend :)

My first time here and was pleasantly impressed. I had the prawn, scallop, snow peas with a steamed rice. Also had a wonton soup as a starter. Was very tasty and fresh. Definitely will come back. Restaurant was clean and very comforting music in the background. Was a great place to eat and distress!

Been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant for a while and finally found it! Extremely fast service, both times we got takeout it took less than 10 minutes to make. Good portions and delicious. Been craving it for weeks since our first visit. Definitely recommend.

Poor quality food at inflated prices. I liked the Stone Pipe, but since moving here from Victoria we've missed really good Chinese food, so thought the change in the restaurant might fill that void. We just had takeout, and the beef & tomato fried rice had NO rice! The sweet and sour lean pork was unremarkable, the vegetables were a big disappointment - cabbage, cauliflower & carrots. Chow mein was tasteless and the foo yong was just scrambled eggs with a bit of filling. Overall, it was an overpriced, poor quality meal. You can get better Chinese food at Quality Foods in Langford for half the price.

Expensive for what the food is the food is very salty with no flavour the waiters have no training. They say three people at a small table with no room for our food. We had to ask for plates to eat off of and serving spoons to dish out our food. I won’t go back for a while. Chow-main was so salty and crunchy. I hope there will be improvement

Great service, and fresh food! Typical Chinese, and served us a lot of food for the price. I don’t think it is overpriced at all, and everything we had was delicious! So glad we have a great Chinese restaurant in Sooke! We definitely needed something like this....Thank you for changing the menu to Chinese food. We are lucky to have this in our small town.

Lots of mixed reviews on here, but looks like they may have been having growing pains at the beginning. Finally got in to give it a try and I am super impressed! The amount of food in the lunch combo is great, the honey garlic pork is TO DIE FOR. We are enjoying every bite and will absolutely be back. Only suggestion would be to have coke instead of Pepsi �

Hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Super expensive for terrible food prepared with the cheapest ingredients, and charged at high prices. Will never eat here again.

So far everything that I have tried is delicious. No processed meats, and fresh veggies. Chow mein is crispy that’s an acquired taste and I like it. Try the wor won ton soup, The broth is amazing. Staff are young, friendly and eager. Give them a chance. Prices are higher but considering size of portions and fresh food. I will be back.

I read the mixed reviews, my wife and I tried with a take out. She is very particular with her ginger beef, it was good! The food we had was really good too, S&S pork, chicken fried rice, honey garlic pork. Loved it! Will definitely eat again.

Wasnt sure what to expect and boy was I impressed. Wife and I finally made it in to give it atry. Absolutely loved it. Generous portions, very tasty food. Was not left with that gross greasy yukky full freling, rather a nice clean fill. Still walked out with leftovers to go. Well worth ever penny spent and highly reccommend. Our waiter was ammazing and friendly without being in our face. His presence was subtle, yet was very attentive to our needs. P.S. The coffee was great as well. Too many restaurants fail in that department but Happy Village passed!

It was good the first time I went. And individual meals were amazing. Went the next week. No more individual meals. Chow Mein was burnt. Won't go back until they put the individual meals back on the menu.
