Thank you to The Combine! We entered the Valentine's Day contest and won a $75 gift certificate. We decided to use it to celebrate John's birthday. We were greeted with two complementary glasses of wine that were excellent. We ordered the Tuesday special Surf and Turf. It was the best meal out that we have had in a long time. Every bite was full of mouthwatering goodness. The Steak and sauce were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. The potatoes and grilled vegetables were an experience in itself. Our favorite were the golden beets and parsnips. After the meal we ordered Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was the best we have ever had. Every spoonful of this heavenly dessert was a perfect ending to our spetacular dining experience. Our hostess was very attentive. The surroundings and decor made you feel like you were at home. Thanks again for this most enjoyable experrience.
We sprung for the chef's table tonight. We got to sit in the kitchen while the chefs created our various courses as well as others'. We were encouraged to engage conversation and ask question. All in all, probably the best meal I've ever had. Unbelievable staff, exquisite local ingredients, everything made in house right down to the ketchup. Fresh, smart, delicious. Would recommend this to anyone!

Our family came in on Friday, March 2 to celebrate a birthday. The service was outstanding. Our server went above and beyond for us and the food was incredible as well. Can't wait to come back soon.

Great night out. Food was Amazing! Our male server from Winnipeg was funny, kind and quick with whatever we needed. He has really beautiful hair (wonder if he uses wen) lol. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Best food in Norfolk!

We celebrated our 42nd anniversary tonight and we were very impressed with the food and the service. Our waiter was knowledgeable as well as entertaining. He made our first visit memorable. We will return. Our friends were right to encourage us to try this restaurant.
I am a former cook who travels for work and get sick of eating in restaurants. I come through Simcoe 2 nights a month, and always choose to eat at The Combine. Their menu is varied and every item has its own character. The level of care that goes into sourcing (and creating!) quality ingredients is exceptional. The decor and ambience are bolstered by a social and knowledgable service staff. I don't often rate restaurants I eat at, but I can't say enough good things about The Combine.
There wasn't a damned thing to say against it. Stellar service, EXCELLENT food, reasonable prices, scrumptious cocktails, and even exceptional music in the washroom!�

Amazing! Forget the Keg, the steak here was the BEST I every had anywhere! I've never had such a great steak. Did I mention the steak here? The service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive and made us feel like we were a guest in his own home. They served good size portions and we left there stuffed. Love the ambiance of the restaurant. I can't wait to return.

If I had to describe the vibe at the Combine restaurant to you in one sentence I would say “they make you feel right at home!” From the moment I walked up to the front door of the restaurant I felt like I was being invited inside someone’s home for lunch, and well… actually I kinda was.
Excellent dinner. Menu has very different options. Excellent drink selection. Great place to go with a group. Be sure to make reservations.

Ok so this is one of my top restaurant to visit in Ontario. We had a quick stop in for lunch and I remember each bite like it was yesterday! It's a great story about a local chef who returned home and opened an amazing restaurant focussed on sourcing its ingredients locally.
The result is food awesomeness and I highly recommend a stop at the Combine for lunch and dinner if you are in the Simcoe, Norfolk area!
Had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and made made us feel very welcome.
It's nice to have a restaurant that serves fresh, local, and artisan dishes. Being able to celebrate all that Norfolk offers in a relaxed, homey, yet classy atmosphere is amazing.
The food was fantastic and the protions were are perfect. Not too big and not too small - you will leave satisfied. The drink menu was able to highlight local craft breweries and wineries. We had a bottle of Burning Kiln -Strip Room and loved it.
There was relaxing dinner music playing theought the restaurant but it wasn't overbearing.
The menu changes every few weeks to showcase what is in season locally. We love the idea and will be back soon to see what is new.

Finally got a chance to come to the Combine. I’ve been wanting to visit for almost acouple years now!!
And it was everything I’d hoped it would be! Ambience was lovely, beautiful grounds and landscaping. We were seated in the tent, so nice to have a proper tent instead of just an umbrella. The menu was phenomenal and it was hard choosing which options to go with.
I love that The food is all fresh and local. The flavours and ingredients are well thought out and pair together beautifully.
Cocktail list is very impressive and drinks are beautifully presented.
We had a lovely evening and ended up taking friends back afew weeks later. The menu had changed and everything was once again fantastic!!
The house is and old Victorian home with a lot of the originally architecture preserved. It is absolutely gorgeous…can’t wait to eat inside!
Bathrooms are spacious, up to date and very clean.
We will be returning often for sure!!
Just moved to town. Love this place. Every meal I have had has been so impressive. Can’t wait to use the patio and enjoy a meal there as well.
Excellent atmosphere in this large old home in Simcoe with oak trim. Great appetizers followed up with entrées that tasted as good as they looked!!! Our server was awesome and she showed that she enjoyed her job. I had a great steak and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. Suggest to call for reservations
We've been waiting to come here for years when we were in the area and we finally made it out. The restaurant is great. We made a reservation ahead of time and sat on the patio. The server was super friendly and made some excellent suggestions.
She was very attentive as well.
We had the corn dog bites to start which was a great dish and the mustard was a great compliment. For dinner we had the coconut curry braised beef and the buttermilk chicken dishes. We loved both of them. Lastly for dessert we both opted to try the spiced Chocolate torte which if you still have room for dessert you have to try. We wanted to buy a whole dish of that to bring home with us.
Overall excellent service, amazing food and great ambiance. We would definitely come back and we'll tell all our friends. Thanks for having us.
First time at The Combine, it was a great experience! The waiter that served us had an interesting and unique personality, also was very knowledgeable of the menu.
Had the chicken breast and Norfolk ABC pizza, both were excellent and tasteful. Did not have to wait long, would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had an amazing date night at the Combine! There's plenty of parking, it feels intimate and cozy, and if course the food was divine.
They had a great beer menu for the hubby, great non alcoholic beverages for my pregnant self, and the portion sizes were so much larger than we thought they would be.
We look forward to making this a frequent visit, given the menu changes every few weeks!
