The decor is absolutely adorable and for a small place they maximized the space very well. The staff here are extremely friendly. The food is exceptionally delicious like the best tummy warming Korean halmeoni made food.
Always delicious quality food and great service! This is one of my favorite places to eat in or take out. The menu has awesome choices that never seem to disappoint.
Super great food! We got take out but the tempura was 10/10 super big size with light and crispy batter that was perfectly fried. We also got the sushi platter which was fantastic with a large range of different rolls! The staff were also super lovely and there wasn’t a long wait for food. Definitely recommend for an easy dinner.
Bento box always perfect! Sushi light and delicate. Sauce on salad and chicken delicious. Peanut sauce on rice a perfect accompaniment. Wished we lived closer.
We’ve dined here twice, once we sat inside and the service and food were great. The next time the restaurant was full so we got bento boxes to go for lunch and sat on the seawall overlooking the ocean. The food was wonderful and we had everything we needed packed in our bag by the restaurant. This is definitely one of our favourite places to eat in Sydney.
This Gem is a great spot, friendly and efficient service at the table. The food is excellent - quality, unpretentious, frankly inexpensive. Shhhh.
I love it that it’s open all day, and you’re never out of place there with friends or chilling and dining solo.

Hit the spot after a long touristy day. Good prices and delicious. Tuna poke bowl was great - lots of fresh fish, avocado and rice. I had hot pot bibimbap and it was also good.
Wow! Excellent food and service. Very simple looking restaurant, not fancy at all, but everything I ate was to die for. We left full and happy, our expectations absolutely exceeded. Between two us we shared chicken teriyaki bowl, spicy tofu soup, and veggie tempura udon. All excellent and we were stuffed, and we are big eaters. Also, as an added bonus the bill only came to 33$ including tax, which is less than a meal out usually costs us in the Sidney area (we didn't have any drinks). Highly recommend, we will be visiting again very soon!
I often doubt small, cheap sushi restaurants in small town strip malls. This is certainly the exception! J Kitchen Korean & Japanese offers fairly good and varied sushi at incredible prices. I highly recommend this restaurant!
A little gem in Sidney that provides some reasonably authentic food that breaks from the norm. Never had a bad meal here, so much of it is delicious.
The food was fresh and delicious - service was excellent. Big portions too. Good value for the price.
