Review Uncle Gino's Cafe - Sault Ste. Marie

That is not a regular dinner plate, it's a serving plate. The panzos are huge. Moderately priced, but good for 2 people. Get extra sauce(yes there is a charge), but you'll need it. Friendly takeout staff, lots of parking in back, and there is a back entrance.

Second best Italian I've ever had ( My moms #1 ) Awesome portion size great price all fresh ingredients. I'm so in love this place !!! Nice atmosphere laid back casual fireplace kick back try to finish your incredible meal have a drink just can't wait to come back. Homemade gnocchi for 15$ unreal!!! Real slices of bacon Love it

Uncle Gino's couldn't disappoint if they tried. An absolute must if you're in Sault Ste Marie. Actually, Algoma district. Hospitality: The front of house are some of the most attentive and friendliest people I've had the pleasure of dining with. In my many visits to this restaurant I've had nothing but lovely experiences with the service. The team from FOH to Kitchen are more than accommodating. Ambience: Being as Uncle Gino's has been around since I could remember it's a bit nostalgic for me but besides that it has a very nice ambience and provides comfortable dining. Great for families or business lunch/dinner. Definitely suitable for a birthday party with a mimosa bar. Eats: My family frequents Uncle Gino's for breakfast and it's selection is lovely. From your standard breakfast to their fluffy pancakes. Again.. mimosas. Their Italian food is amazing. Meatballs: Phenomenal, Arancini: To die for, Gnocchi : "Insert Drool Face", and their panzos are fit for a king(or queen..or family). Today's special was a braised beef panini(see picture)... The only issue I had was that I didn't have room for a second one! So delicious. Dont leave without their special peaches... I took them to go because it's tradition. Thanks for having me and can't wait to come back!!

This is our first time ordering from Uncle Gino's & we are extremely impressed! I haven't even finished eating but had to leave a review. The pizza is perfectly wings and the wings are saucy (just the way we like them) My husband and I will definitely be ordering again in the near future! Thank you for making our Sunday dinner - so delicious!!

Ordered panzo as take out, pretty good, little doughy but at least real bacon on the inside. Would order again, just recommend ordering extra sauce as they only give you a tiny container and with the extra dough, more dipping required!

Food is always amazing and the quality and presentation follow suit. Staff is always very polite and inviting. The owners are always hands-on with their business and the hard work they put in really shows in the quality of service and food! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience with authentic style Homemade cooked Italian dishes!!!

Been here for over an hour, got 2 coffee mugs w lipstick stains, asking for water was too much. Finally ordered, took 4 outta 5 orders. Waitress couldn't handle me I guess when asking for clean items. Had another waitress come for our order cause apparently the 1st one couldn't handle it. Yall need a manager to whip these girls in shape. Stay on top of yr games ladies, redtaurants are busy. Comes w the territory. 1 waitress was great w us. Other waitresses couldn't care less. Lemme know if u need a manager!

I've dined in and taken out here, 2 to 4 times per year for 20 years. Consistently good kitchen. A deluxe panzerotti take out feeds 2 handily, but leftovers are handy too.
