Lighthouse Pub

Great Pub Grub with a Million Dollar View. We spent a day on Saturna and fell in love with the island. We had lunch at the pub and came by later for appetizers. The food was surprisingly good, even excellent in the context of pub grub.

Our party of 3 had a burger and a couple of different fish burgers. The fish was especially good, fresh and not over cooked. Nice attention to detail in the seasonings and sides. Everything was very fresh which came as a bit of a surprise in such a remote location.

There is abundant deck seating and a spectacular view. There is no smoking inside or on the deck which was greatly appreciated. Service was casual but very friendly and suitably attentive.

The draft beer was also worth noting. They have a half dozen craft brews from a brewery on Vancouver Island. I tried the stout which was terrific. A surprising offering in such a location.
