So good, if you like seafood, come here. I keep forgetting about this place but I’ll definitely be back again. Can say enough, it has all mu favourite dishes.

Haven't been here for a while but went today and was impressed. Besides their buffet the AYCE sushi, drinks, etc. Are now ordered through an iPad which was cool and would definitely decrease misunderstandings when ordering. New staff too, where did the Asians go 😊 our hostess had an Australian accent and was very nice.
In my opinion, one of the best sushi places in Saskatoon. I don't really try their Chinese food. I have tried many different sushi places, and I don't think you can get any better sushi than here.
Been going here for years! Love the staff and most times love the food. Although some of their sushi has gotten a bit *light* on the fish in some of their dishes. But they always roll out the red carpet for us!
Great place for lunch. Food was great! Service was great! Loved ordering from the iPad. Very convenient and fast. I will definitely go back.
I haven't had the buffet yet, but have stopped in a few times to get some sushi for take out. The sushi combos are a pretty good value. The rolls are big and you get a good serving of miso soup, a salad, and pop. The sushi is usually good quality, but I sometimes find the rice is a bit mushy and the rolls fall apart easily. Service is ok. The restaurant itself looks quite nice and clean. Will definitely like to try the buffet soon.
I enjoy sushi and fried food, this place offers both. With a family this is great, you can order off the menu and share the fresh sushi rolls and in the mean time have some of the best ginger beef ive experienced. Great variety and good concept of two things in one.

Favourite sushi place by far!. Love this place!! Super friendly staff and professional looking, the menu is very clear, the buffet is labeled very clear. Which is all very helpful, as I am a vegetarian. It looks so nice in there too and they don't make you feel uncomfortable when you've been sitting in there for a while. They're on top of everything (orders, bringing menus back, water). Always super impressed by this place, I don't see how they would have such a low rating, to me they're worth a 90%!! Kind of appalled actually that other sushi places that are much worse then here have a higher rating.
Mediocre. I've had much better sushi in Saskatoon, but it is still tasty. The service wasn't great. When you have a larger party ordering multiple items it would be nice to know what is being delivered, etc. We often found ourselves eating the rolls not knowing exactly what anything was. We eventually started asking as they brought more items out and we would maybe get a little mumble out of them. And like most people on here have said, the service is by no means fast. I didn't really participate in the buffet, but the salad bar was pretty pathetic. The other buffet didn't look too inviting, either, but my friends seemed to enjoy it.
The All You Can Eat is a decent price and you most definitely can eat a lot of food which we did. I enjoyed all but one of the items we ordered. I would suggest other sushi places in Saskatoon before eating here, but I wouldn't completely avoid it either.
Ignore the haters. I love it when people go to an AYCE buffet and get mad when they don't get fine dining. This restaurant is exactly what you're looking for when you choose a buffet. My kids eat a ridiculous amount and I can choose healthy items off the sushi menu, everyone leaves happy. Someone who says 'if you want real sushi go to sushiro' is full of it. For one; when you choose to go to sushiro you're willingly spending more for a fine dining experience. Also, I grew up on the coast where there are many examples of 'real sushi'. Sushiro is Japanese inspired fine dining. Go for sushi, is traditional a la carte. It's alright, try it.
Went there for lunch a few days back. I am no sushi expert, but what we had I really enjoyed! The place was clean and the people friendly. I am not even sure what else I would look for.

Love it!. Go for Sushi is my favorite place to "go for sushi" teehee. Love the buffet so even if someone you go with doesn't like sushi they can still enjoy good food. Service has always been good for us, they do sometimes forget a dish but by that time we're usually so full we don't mind anyways haha.
My only issue would be that they change their menu so often. Never know what to order since they switch it from the menu, to the buffet, and back to the menu again. I'm sure by the time I go back it will switch again!
Better pricing for lunch menu and really good food great variety and I buffet bar to go to in addition to the sushi of the menu
Good Variety. I like this restaurant. It is an all you can eat sushi restaurant, that features a buffet that includes chinese, japanese, salad, and dessert items. You order the items off the sushi menu (may I recommend their eel), then while you wait make your way to the buffet (seriously try the sesame balls).
Their sushi is fantastic and I'd definitely go back. I'd also recommend the restaurant to couples/families with picky eaters or children. There is enough non-sushi food to satisfy everyone.
Love the buffet and the sushi. Great place to take people for there first sushi experience. Service is good but sometimes hard to understand. Never charged for leftovers so that's always nice ! 5/5
The food is quite good and whatever you don't eat is super cheap to bring home. They charged me $4 extra to bring 16 rolls home
Amazing sushi. The buffet isnt the greatest, but all the made to order stuff is amazing, make sure to go before 330pm cuz thats when the price goes up from $15 to $25 per person
Mmm. Although it's expensive, I suggest going at lunch when the price is cheaper. You can order as much as you like and if they forget anything the staff is helpful and will remind the chefs of your order.
LUNCH and DINNER. Not being a Sushi fanatic myself, we decided to give it a try and went for a later dinner and it was decent but not exeptional. They did say they were closing early that eveing due to the weather ( this is Saskatchewan folks). So we went back and tried lunch on Monday and this time I was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was very good and the sushi ( she order thankfully) was pretty good as well and the staff although busy were attentive enough to refill the drinks. I would recommend that if You have the options, to try for the lunch if for no other reason being that it was more than $20.00 less for the two of us to have a meal than the dinner was. I had asked and she told me that we basically had the same thing both times, so if You want to save a few pesos, try the lunch. Overall, pretty sure we will be going back
Great place for a student. THIS PLACE IS GREAT, now dont get me wrong i am not a sushie fanatic but its so DAMN GOOD. whenever we go its for lunch, its cheap, its so filling, and you get so much choice. if u dont want sushie go for the buffet, if you dont want the buffet and you have had enough sushie get something deep fried off the menu. altho i have but one complaint, everytime i go i they never offer me something to drink and when they do they very rarly come back for a refill. this is good for someone who doesnt take there sushie to seriously.
Love it!. I am not at all a sushi expert, but I loved this place! I went here with about 10 other co-workers for lunch one day. The buffet was great, and all the sushi was good too. I enjoyed anything that was spicy tuna, including the hand roll.. We never did get the eel dish we ordered unfortunately but everything else we ordered came within a reasonable amount of time. My fav was the "yummy roll" I believe is what they were called? I highly recommend them!
Meh. Terrible service everytime. Quality of food is probably my least favorite of all the AYCE sushi places in toon. But, I still manage to show up here to stuff my face on occaison. It will do in a pinch if youre craving sushi.

Loving this place!. I have been to Go For Sushi at least a half a dozen times in the last 4-5 months and I have not been disappointed yet. The buffet has always been hot, fresh & very tasty. The Japanese chicken is a particular favorite along with the mango & coconut jello squares. The sushi is excellent, the rice ball is often on the small side for the size of the fish bit, but who can complain about that? It is usually the opposite with places cheaping out with a tiny fish bit on a huge ball of rice! The fish has been beautifully fresh every visit. My son especially enjoys the wine soaked tuna. The Maki rolls are where Go For Sushi really shines for me. The Spicy Salmon is amazing, the Yummy Roll is an absolute delight and a good roll to order if you have brought newbies with you. The Spider Rolls are fantastic. The dessert selection is excellent for a buffet even without the hard ice cream bar! The negative reviews really surprise me for this place, Go For Sushi has never disappointed me and I am pretty darn hard to please!

I love this place! Awesome sushi and wonton soup, not a huge fan of the buffet but I just stick to he sushi. Service is awesome in peak times. Went once at 2:30 and there was only one server working. We've asked to get cucumber or avocado to different rolls and they did it. Never disappointed been here 6 or 7 times
