We had a fantastic meal here. Server was very friendly and helpful. He also gave us complimentary sodas and second batch of garlic naan. The goat basmati rice was so good; not dry, very flavourful, quality meat. My partner had a beef curry dish which was also delicious. We both enjoyed the mint yogurt sauce that accompanied the meals. Will definitely be back.
The buffet was great. It was clean and hot. I like that it felt like the food was kept fresh. It was tasty without being overpoweringly spiced. It has the best spice level. I like ordering off the menu better because then I don't have to share with others. Portions are generous.
This is the Best Indian restaurant in Saskatoon. Staff is really friendly and great customer service. Food is really delicious.I would recommend this place to everyone.
I had tried so many restaurants in saskatoon, but this one is the best , food is delicious, really nice service. I am going to the place since 3 years, I will recommend this restaurant to everyone.
From the time i discovered this place till now, the food, the service, the music has been the same; the BEST.
I have been coming here for more than 2 years now. I either get samosa chaat or chicken briyani every time i go (because they are my favorite). Except for the Sunday breakfast special. The bread is fried in oil but its so soft and crispy.
One thing i noticed, no matter what time of the day i went I always saw the same server. Except for the time when there was a younger girl who was i believe was being trained(?) Now she was slower than a turtle.
I have had the buffet as well, delicious. It taste even better if you go at the starting time when its the most fresh. If you after its been open for 2 hours, the food gets a bit over cooked, still tastes good though. I have ordered off of the menu as well, The server gives you at least 5~10 mins alone to look over the menu and decide. She will come over to ask you if your ready to order and if your not she gives you 5 more mins. When I was ready to order I just had to give her my attention or call on her and she would walk over to my table to take the order, or I would end up calling her over to help me decide LOL. So now I have tried almost everything from the menu and I love it all.
I've seen the server go from cheerful happy to a bad mood because of some customer trying to get discounts from her or trying to have their way with the groupon coupons. You can say I have been there at all times of the day.
I can't speak for everyone here, since everyone has their own unique taste. Instead of reading here one should always have a first hand experience. What if you end up liking the same food the other didn't like. I say this to everyone though. So don't mind me LOL.
Anyways I always get the best experience here, I can't wait to bring my husband here one day. I hope its soon though. I miss him already.
I have been coming here for a few years and it has always been excellent. I always get the buffet so that might have something to do with it but honestly, I eat until the food feels like its just below my eyeballs. The butter chicken is excellent as are the chicken wings, kheer, gulab jaman, pakora, and other dishes that I can't remember the names of. Oh, and the naan! Mmmmm. Service has either been good or great. I always recommend Mogul Divaan to everyone.
Pretty good food. Worth the price:) so far the best Pakistani food in town..👍
Love the chicken biryani and goat curry:) portion size is also good:)
Great food. The goat korma and chicken biryani are worth trying. I have had sheekh kebabs across Asia and the beef sheekh kabab here is by far the closest to the authentic ethnic restaurants back in Asia. I would definitely recommend this place to all fellow foodies.
Awesome food. I love coming here every week . the food is awesome real home made cooking and taste fresh everytime! certainly the best in town among other indian/pakistani restaurants. always a great experience, the server is always helpful in guiding you through the menu and helping you choose new items, i look forward to my next visit!
Packs a punch!. Went to this place first because we got a groupon. We liked the unique and authentic food (I am not from Pakistan, so I cannot say from experience, but it certainly doesn't taste "North-Americanized" to me).
At our second visit I was having trouble chosing between a couple of things and the server recommended the BBQ chicken karahi. Delicious! I get it every time now. When it first came out, I thought it didn't look like much (portion-wise), but I always end up taking some home. It is so flavorful and by the time I having it along with my naan, I have always took some home. BTW - the naan is always hot and fresh with just enough crisp to it - very good.
Pretty much everything I've tried has been very spicy. It is also not very "typical" food, so if you are not an adventurous eater, you might have trouble finding something. But defnitely a nice treat - espescially if you are looking for something different and enjoy international food.
Yummy!!!!. Its fourth time i order from there and every time food was excellent. tried roti, butter chicken, samosa in mint souce, Dum Pukht Chicken and more. Heaven in mouth! spicy flavourful, good size portion for little money. keep up the good job.
Delicious. Absolutely wonderful, food was great and filled with flavor also the waitress was very helpful in suggesting what items to get and showed us the restaurant specialties, like teh Dum pukht, lahori chanay and the mogul karahi. i went with two of my frinds and we were all very pleased and full at the end of our meal, will definitely come back
Good food. Went to Mogul Divaan twice and tried different items from the menu, but didn't try the buffet.
Compared to other Indian and Pakistani restaurants in Saskatoon this one is the best, but I can't say that it is the best that I've ever tried.
Tried Mogul Karahi which was delicious, but extremely hot despite clearly asking for mild. Qeema nan was a little dry and under-seasoned and with not much meat. Tandoori Chicken Tikka Boti was OK, but again not the best that I've ever tasted.
I liked the taste of Chicken Tikka Karahi but would have loved if it was a little more for that price. Boneless Chicken Biryani was delicious but a bit too spicy too. Also it is being served without any sauce, salad or anything to the side.
Overall I can say that the food was OK, but not the best. Unfortunately, for Saskatoon this is the best we can get, so I will keep going there when I crave Indian food until a better alternative is there.
Wonderful, reasonably priced buffet. Butter chicken and pakora are delicious and food on the buffet is always brought out in small batches and kept at a nice temperature. Staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a small, busy restaurant so best to go with a party of 4 or less to insure seating. One of my favourites!
Been there 3 times and consistently good food as had buffet. Flavour was complex and balanced. Chicken wings were large, loved the lamb dish. Rest meat dishes just as good, wife loved butter chicken. Naan bread fresh, the deserts were a great finish. The custard desert, rice desert and these syrupy balls was enjoyed. Wish I would of tried it long ago.
Saskatoon's hidden gem!. I call it a hidden gem because twice we went past it and missed it! The sign is really small and in black but the food was well worth it. Once we entered, we could tell it was a popular joint from the crowded atmosphere. I ordered the chiken biriyani with yoghurt sauce (a.k.a. raita) and my hubby ordered the tandoori roti and mixed veggie. It was delicious and albeit a bit spicy even for us brown folk. There was another guest sitting across us who was just driving through and stopped by every time he was in Saskatoon!
I would definitely recommend this place to others! Very economical too.
So much flavour. We ordered take out and were very pleased. I don't know what it is about naan bread...I can't get enough. My girlfriend doesn't usually stray too far from butter chicken and she was a bit overwhelmed by the powerful flavours. I had the Dum Pukht and it was excellent. The fellow that greeted us when we arrived to pick up our order was very pleasant. We will be back to try the buffet some day.
Our meal was amazing. Service was great. Very authentic tasting.
The best restaurant ever! I really love their chicken biryani! Moving to Calgary n I will always miss my favourite food!
Really like. This place is awesome. The decor is not the greatest but the food and the service are great. It is a good thing that it is not closer to my place or I would be eating here every day.
I love it! Was shocked to read the other reviews... this is my fav place to eat hands down. Yes its spicey but thats what kind of food it is. Amazing and so tasty
2 words: Mogul Karahi. First off, Mogul divaan makes the best and cheapest chicken biryani in town at $6.99. As a biryani enthusiast, I've tried them all. This one stands above. I actually remember the waiter saying: "I want you to eat only our biryani". Serious confidence.
The buffet always has veg and meat options, and continually carries a favourite of mine: pulao. Its a rice dish stewed with meat, stock and spices. aside from that you will usually find channa, dal, beef korma, and other dishes,.
If you go the menu route, go straight for the Mogul Karahi. They slightly tandoor chicken pieces and then cook them in an unreal gravy. the Kofta (meatball) curry is also very good, as are the chapli kebabs.
Evening Meal. Went there one thursday evening with three colleagues for dinner. The place is a little unprepossessing and doesn't look too nice.
The restaurant does a buffet and a menu option. We ordered off the menu. Food was good, better than expected and I would definitely return. The Chapli kebab and the Gajjar Halwa were best for me although we all enjoyed the food. Naan bread was excellent.
All four of us would go back. Note the restaurant is halal and doesn't serve alcohol.
Great service, great food! Best Pakistani restaurant in town hands down!
Mouthgasm. My first experience with Mogul Divaan was tonight. My new favorite restaurant in Saskatoon for sure! Me and my friend had the buffet... absolutely amazing. Everything. Every single dish was was delicious. The wings really stood out for me... well, the seasoning on them at least. It was unlike any flavor I've ever tasted (and I've worked in a number of restaurants). It made me die a little inside thinking of the bland, imaginative deep fried crap that is western food. I will be back, and next time with more friends.
Great Food, Great service.. Went there last night with few friends...as soon as we walked in it smelled so delicious and made us quite hungry...host was very polite and helpful in picking out our dishes even though it was Friday night and restaurant was quite busy...Vegi samosa chaat was unbelievably good just like how it was back home (India)...make sure everybody tries their Dumpukht curry its very good nicly spiced, they got the best naans in the city soft and hot right out of Tandoor ..well over all we had a great time and will definitely be recommending this place to all friends and family :) we will definitely be back...
Great food, Authentic Recipes. I usually shy away from anything on 22nd street, but I stopped in on a winters day one afternoon not wanting to drive downtown and I was amazed. You can tell the owners take real pride in their business and the food is some of the best Indian food in the city. I love the buffet, everyone should have it at least once.
The interior is kept very clean and the prices are cheap cheap cheap!
Have been back many times since and will continue to go there.
This restaurant is AMAZING. the service was excellent and the man who served us suggested great dishes. The naan is the best I've ever tasted, since it's made in a traditional clay oven in the restaurant. My boyfriend and I shared two dishes including two types of naan bread one(one was stuffed and to die for), chai tea and rice. The paneer was fresh and the curry was homemade with delicious chunks of spices in it. Mogul Divaan us by far the best Pakistani/Indian restaurant in the city, as well as being the most authentic and flavourful. We will most definitely be back! Yum!!!!
Always my favorite. Whether for a quick supper break or dine-out with friends, mogul divaan is always on top of my list, except on mondays when they're closed, lol! All the food they serve tastes really great, my stomach is normally sensitive but I never had any trouble with anything I ate from mogul. And the staff are so nice, friendly, decent, and professional.....truly an Asian traits!
Not the greatest Indian food I've had, the chicken had lots of grissel and tough to chew, spicy bite is way better
GREAT lunch buffet. Great variety, delicious food - well seasoned for my poor white taste buds, but not dumbed-down too far to be tasty. Includes loads of items, including dessert. Better than the Taj, for sure.
The best east Indian food I have ever had the privilege to eat. Service, far and above expectations. This is East Indian home cooking!!!

Very Delicious. I had the pleasure of eating lunch at this fine place and was not disappointed. I originally was going to get the buffet but then opted to order off the menu since the buffet items were the usual butter chicken etc. items that you see everywhere. I asked for some advice on the menu from the server since I not too familiar with the dishes. I agreed with his suggestions and ordered the beef stuffed naan bread and a curry (cannot recall which one now) that came with you choice or roti, naan or rice. I chose the rice and waited for my meal while reading the Metro and Globe and Mail, which they have plenty of copies of and I though that was awesome.
My naan came first followed quickly by my main dish. The flavour of the stuffed naan is incredible and I highly recommend it, its something that you must try and I insist you do. The main curry dish was excellent as well and so was the basmati rice, which had a wonderful taste and light fluffy texture. i would say it was one of the best basmati rice dishes I have ever eaten, hands down. The spice of the curry was excellent, not too spicy and many layers of flavour that kissed your taste buds.
My meal was around $16 and well worth it. While paying my bill I complemented the food and the reason for my choice of ordering off the menu rather than the buffet. The guy told me that the buffet is excellent and I should try it. Apparently it is also very nicely seasoned and something that I should try. I will definitely be back for more and perhaps this time give the buffet a try.
This place was the BEST EVER!!! I have been all over the world and sampled their versions of Pakistani cuisine. I spoke with the owner a bit, he says he uses his mothers recipes and not some commercialized version. The spice of the food speaks for itself. Truly authentic. I can't stop raving about how darn good it was!
So flavorful!. Buffet had many very flavorful and spicy items! My sister thought some items were too "spicy" (hot) but I thought there was a good balance. I enjoyed every item in the buffet - such a great way to try a variety of the menu. Evening dinner buffet is Tuesday-Sunday from 4:30pm to 9pm which are great hours. Staff was very friendly.
Great Options for Veg & Gluten-Free. I had heard that this place was really good but was nervous to try it since we haven't really found a decent place in Saskatoon so far for our favorite Indian/Pakistani dishes. This place was really great though. I called ahead of time to inquire about food allergies and accommodating vegetarian diets and they were confident they could handle it. And handle it they did!
Our friend without special dietary requirements had the buffet and he enjoyed the variety.
Between my husband and I we ordered the appetizer veg pakora and they were the best I've had in this city so far. They weren't greasy or too heavily battered. So, so, so good. I could have eaten just pakora all night.
For the meal we shared aloo gobi (potato and cauliflower), bharta (roasted eggplant), and bhindi (okra). The flavors were great and each dish tasted different - not like some places where it all tastes the same. It was all so good I can't quite decide which of the three was my favorite.
This looks to be a family-run restaurant and it was packed when we arrived at 7pm and stayed consistently busy the entire time we were there. It's not a huge restaurant either. I noticed other comments here on Urbanspoon about the poor service and I have to agree that the service wasn't that great. The woman server was all over the place and seemed a bit overwhelmed. Nobody forgot about us or forgot part of our order but twice during our time there we saw two different tables have to ask for things they ordered which she had forgotten about. Primarily drinks, etc. But we received everything we ordered in a fairly timely manner, though it did take them forever to take our order in the first place.
I value good service but I will deal with a bit of slow service for what I consider the best Indian food I've tried so far in Saskatoon. I'll just plan ahead to spend a bit more time to accommodate the slower service.
Great food here. I like to order off the menu, as opposed to the buffet (which isn't bad, either).
The service is generally pretty good.
There's something odd about the place that I can't quite put my finger on, though.
I was always on the fence when it came to Indian food until I came here. Now I see the light
Response to user "Shunch". Last time I ate here I had the exact same experience. I ordered the buffet and after finishing my first plate I was completely stuffed-- so much so that I couldn't even go back for a second plate.
And when I say "stuffed," it is an under-statement. I was in pain.
I love the taste of the food, but not the MSG.
Great curry needs beer. other than that, i dig.
WOW. From the moment I walk in and smell the wonderful aroma, I am hooked. The buffet is consistantly excellent. If you dont like spice, go elsewhere as they do not dumb it down. This is authentic cuisine. The butter chicken is top knotch.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Saskatoon.
Liked it but not coming back probably,lol.... My guest and I had the buffet...I liked the fact most the items had that home-made type of taste and feel to them, that was a big positive...BUT, that is where it stops I think....
The service is not good, we had to seat our own asses after 5 minutes of stupidly standing there lol...(I hate places like this, at the least put a sign up stating one way or the other)...We ordered pepsi's and they never came, I noticed later that a guy just went up to the cooler and grabbed 2 ,lol, i think he had been there before, so I am not sure if you just grab the drinks...The server which was part owner/wife/or family, i would say needs some communication skills with her tables ,lol....In all fairness we did receive 3 pitchers, lol, yes 3 pitchers of water which was all needed...
The lamb and mixed vegetables/potatoes where so spicy that they were almost inedible., and i like spicy, apparently, not as much as i thought,lol..My friend and I drank 3 pitchers of water for 2 plates of food ..The butter Chicken sauce was good, lol but they never put chicken in it the whole time we were there and it was pretty busy...That was a BIG issue with my guest and I, as well as there are not alot of dishes to choose from, and that is a big one...I grabbed 1/4 of a grilled Naan and beat my friend to it as it was the last 1/4 piece of Naan left as well, lol, items were in no hurry to be restocked, BIG FAIL there...
I thought the price should have been a little lower on the buffet(Think 18-20 per) so all in all it was a decent meal but i do not think i will be going back for the buffet...
I still enjoy this style of food, so i had to like it for at least the establishment trying, and it is Saskatoon after all, Once a mighty per capita quality restaurant City...
The best rice pudding in town!!. I love this place!! Great naan bread, delicious butter chicken, yummy gulab ( the doughnut holes covered in syrup) and the best rice pudding I've ever had. This is my number one pakistani/east Indian cuisine place to go to!! Go for the buffet!
Great Little Gem with tons of potential. Went for the first time on Thursday night. Had the Buffet. Lamb very gamey. Butter chicken different flavour but nice - I dont consider condiments part of the 21 items for buffett. We ordered a veg samosa and meat. Both nice and very fresh. When going again - Which we will - I would order straight off the menu. The tandori chicken looked and smelled amazing. There chai tea is fantastic by the way.
Buffet is the most expensive of any Indian/Pakistan eatery in 'toon at 15 bux (Asian taste and spicy bite being the others) Good food especially the spicy butter chicken but spicy bite is still my favorite
2nd time was even better!. Brought a family member here because I was craving spiced and spicy food. We ordered from the menu instead of doing the buffet again, and I can happily say that I had the most enjoyable taste experiences I can recall. We ordered lamb Dum Puhkt, Saag Paneer, and Bharta, with the Tandoori Naan. Dessert was Masala Chai (best I have tasted in this city), Golub Jamaan, and Gaajar Halwa.
The curries were so flavourful and complex, with interestingly varied spices (I love the fennel). I had chosen the Saag Paneer based on another reviewer here, and I was not disappointed. Delicious! The naan was amazing... light and crispy and warm. The Masala was delightful (why is it SO hard to find a decent spicy chai in Saskatoon?!), and the sweetness of the desserts was the perfect balance to the spiciness and heat of the meal.
The wait for the curries was about 25-30min, but we were informed of this when we ordered. The music was not too loud, and it wasn't overly screechy or jangly.
I highly recommend this place; it is now my go-to for spicy food.
I do like it but wish the butter chicken was more mild! Most of the buffet dishes are spiced medium and up in my opinion. Wish there were mild alternatives
Very pleased indeed!. We have been to Mogul Divaan twice now and have been very pleased indeed with both visits! The first we hit the buffet to try a sampling of the menu. We were extremely happy with the quality of all the dishes and totally enamored with the butter chicken especially! All the dishes were fresh, hot & brought out in small frequent quantities. The second visit we took friends there for a birthday celebration. The service was beyond our expectations! The food was excellent, the butter chicken seemed even better than the first time! They treated us like kings but billed us like a commoner! Very affordable & reasonable! We will be regulars at this restaurant going forward and strongly recommend it to any one looking for great food & fabulous service at a very reasonable price!
Absolutely Delicious. Well no amount of words could describe the quality of food served at Mogul Divaan. The place overall is very receptive and it makes you come back to it every time your stomach craves for food. I have tried all the other Indian-Pakistani places but Mogul Divaan where my hunger for a tasty-delicious food is satisfied. Being an Indian I know the taste of our food and by all means I can say Mogul Divaan's food serves you to your heart's content. Kudos!!!!!
A good choice.. We have had the best luck here ordering off the menu rather than the buffet. Otherwise they have a largish selection of delish curries, and the service is usually very good. Just wish it were in a better area of town.
Amazing. Being an Indian and experiencing such a high quality indian/pakistani cuisine away from home is a delight in itself. Having food there gives you feel like home experience, This place offers delicious variety of food with compassionate customer service, been there several times and can't resist myself going there again and again. Difficult to mention which dish is better than other, every dish that i have tasted so far is simply amazing , such a delicious cousine with so low cost in canada is hard to imagine. Consistenacy in the food at this place is what i am amazed off, everytime you walk in food is as delicious as it was previous time. keep rocking guys , you guys are doing good job .

Dad likes it I prefer elsewhere!. I think the food here is good but personally myself i'd rather go to another indian pakistani restaurant!! im not a fan of the location either. The food is decent and ill eat there from time to time. My dad absolutely loves the food. He always wants us to go there but i always try to convince him we should go somewhere else for pakistani!
p.s. Gabriella - youre absolutely rude! And iChang i enjoy reading your reviews they are always helpful and honest!
Amazing buffet. This was our second visit there and we loved the food. It is less greasy and very tasty. Very good competitor to other East Indian and Pakistani restaurants in town.
My, the buffet was delicious!. I came in for dinner buffet, and boy was it delicious! I wish I had been coming here a lot sooner! I have to warn you though, food here are quite spicy! It's not a problem for me as I love spicy food, so the spicier, the better! I started the buffet with beef pulao (spiced rice), and then a bit of butter chicken (also spicy), and beef kofta curry. There's also naan bread which I usually dip in curry. There's lamb curry, and chicken wings that has a hint of tandoori flavour. In the vegetable section, there's veggie pakora and aloo kabab, which is like a deep fried potato patty. For dessert there's gulab jamun, and rice pudding, both are quite sweet, a good finish after all of those spicy food.
Yummy samosas!. We're contemplating another trip to Saskatoon just so we can get some more of these samosas! The veg samosas obviously really stood out for us but otherwise the food was good but not memorable. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back the next time we're in Saskatoon.
Wonderful Restaurant!. My husband and I discovered Mogul Divaan about six months ago and return to it when possible. We live about 90 minutes away - but think its worth the trip into Saskatoon for this experience. I find the waiter/owner will take the time to explain the dishes and has a wonderful fun personality. My husband loves the Dum Puckt, and I love anythinng with Lamb. The prices are very reasonable, and we wish this restaurant every success!
This is the real thing. Having been disappointed with most of the cuisine that Saskatoon has to offer, it was with low expectations that I tried Mogul Divaan. My sister and I, both Indian food fundis, opted to eat a la carte rather than from the buffet.
We sampled the:
-veg samosas (a bit on the oily side and the pastry was more akin to a pie than an authentic samosa, but still good - I am used to tiny Gujarati samosas instead of these large North Indian type ones),
-chana chaat (spectacular - just the right blend of spices, flavours and textures),
-daal and rice (yum, and I loved the taste of the fresh green chillies they chopped into it since we requested it spicy),
-signature Lahori chanay (a bit mild for my tastes but flavourful),
-aloo palak (again, quite oily and the spinach would have been better either blended thoroughly or not at all - it didn't do well in the half mushed state it was served)
-tawa roti (as close to home taste as I have tasted at a restaurant)
-aloo naan (pleasant)
We each had seconds and still had lots to take home.
All in all, it was a lovely experience - vast array of vegetarian dishes, well flavoured meals and very good value for money. I am definitely going back again and again to try every vegetarian dish they have on the menu and the buffet.
I was very impresses with Mogul Divaan. Food was authentic and not over Canadian-ized. Saag was actual mustard leaves, not spinach (too often used as a cop-out by Indian restaurants). Daal was fantastic, some of the best I've ever had. Masala Chai was fantastically rich, with deep notes of cardamom and cinnamon. Service was great, helpful and attentive without being over bearing. Decor was simple, but warm, and above all else, clean. I will go back, again and again, and I highly recommend Mogul Divaan to everyone!
Delicious food. Very reasonable prices. Very good service. All in all a great dining experience.
GREAT!. By far it is the best Pakistan/Indian Food in Saskatoon.
Super Pakistani/Indian Food and Drink. This small eatery in a west-side strip-mall is well worth the drive from anywhere in the city. The buffet has great variety and was being refilled constantly while we were there. Every dish was wonderfully flavorful, although some were a bit on the spicy side for me (but then again I'm a wuss.) I don't know the Pakistani name for the rice pudding they serve topped with deep fried syrupy dough balls, but I couldn't help myself from going back for seconds and was sorely tempted to go back for thirds. Service by the guy who appeared to be the owner was great, as was the decor and the ethnic music playing quietly in the background. The only thing to note is that this restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, being halal. Closed Mondays.
Great Authentic Food. Mogul Divaan has become my favorite North Indian food place. It's a longish drive for me to get there, but I'm there at least once a week. It is rare to find authentic North Indian (more precisely Lahori) dishes on the menus of Indian restaurants in Saskatoon, or even in other cities in Canada. Mogul Divaan is an exception. They have the best naans in town. To be frank, I don't know how they can offer the variety of things that they do. I'm vegetarian, and even I find enough variety to keep me wanting to go back week after week. My favorites are the eggplant bharta (with naan), channa dal (with naan), pakora karrii (with rice), samosa, chai. Their okra dish is good too, but I like my own recipe better. Sometimes I've just gone for samosa and chai. For meat eaters, I would recommend conversion to vegetarianism... just kidding ... it depends on your taste, but if I were still into eating meat, I'd try chicken or lamb karhaii (with naan) [I've recommended it to friends who have really liked it].
Here's the key to having a great experience at Mogul Divaan: don't order what you have ordered at Indian restaurants in the past; many of those dishes -- at least in my opinion -- have been fabricated for timid North American / European palates. Try different things. Don't order just one dish. You can never have a balanced meal ordering just one dish at an Indian restaurant anyway. It's fairly inexpensive, so I usually order more, and take the leftovers home -- with some extra naans (they heat up nicely in a toaster oven). Don't be shy. If you don't understand what something is supposed to be like, ask. I'm sure they'll do their best to explain; and their explanations will only improve with time.
Once again this place doesn't let me down. We were there right at 5 and we must have walked in not 2 minutes after they put everything out for the buffet. For the price the buffet is the best way to go, and today everything was just that much better. We will be back again and again. So Good!!!
Great alternative! 10/10 !. We moved here a few years ago from a more 'culturally diverse' city and missed going out for indian food. tonight we had the lamb currie and asked for it spicy. We also had different kinds of roti (bread) and chai (tea).
everything was amazing! spicy but not too spicy, our host was friendly and accomodating, music was a good volume and interesting (so happy it wasn't the radio playing)
i really hope some people who have never had this kind of food give it a try, especially if you're like us and bored of hamburgers and chicken with potatoes again and again
10/10 !
Very good!. Very much comparable to Spicy Bite.
The Host was very good in explaining 'how' the meal was to be consumed and suggested different ways of eating.
My favourite dish has always been Butter Chicken, and with theirs, it has a hint of spicy and just perfect for me. I tried out their buffet as well, and they have a nice selection to choose from, and I enjoyed all of them.
It helps that it's close by to where I live, so if I have cravings, its only a quick drive away!
