I went in ordered a double bacon burger and Cajun fries. Asked for my own toppings, and just waited until it was ready. Less than 10 minutes later it was. Burger was amazing and tasty. Cajun fries were nice and spicy. I'm definitely coming back
Decent burgers and lots of topping options. The burgers are big. It's usually busy so I always make sure I've got a little bit of time in case there's a line up. I do think it's unfortunate they do everything peanut oil so it's not allergy friendly.
Five Guys is an example of a place that reminds me of things I can make at home, but somehow better. Very tasty burgers and a more than generous amount of fries. People working there are always happy and patient while you decide on your unlimited amount of toppings. This is a place people will always review lower than it deserves just because it's a chain. Only issue is price which seems a couple dollars too high considering what you get.
Definitely a really good burger prepared quickly enough to qualify as fast food, but a full point off for being extremely overpriced. The burger and ingredient quality is comparable to some place like Fuddruckers - it's way better than something handed to you out of a drive-thru window - but you will pay for it. I do like Five Guys for the fact that it truly understands what it is: It does one thing and does it well.
Really tasty burger food but definitely over priced. Just because something is popular doesn't mean you should charge more for something. They'd likely get more business with slightly lower prices. Not a fan of the atmosphere. The place just seemed dirty and uncomfortable.
This restaurant surprised me. I would definitely go back. The beef was a very good quality. The vegetables tasted like they were cut fresh today and didn't come prepared in a bag. The staff were also very patient and helpful. Warning, the regular fries are massive. One order of regular fries could easily feed two people.
Pretty Good Burger. Tonight was my first time to Five Guys. It's a different experience in that you have to know what toppings you want on your burger when you order and that there is a tip option when you pay for your food before you receive it and have to pick it up at the counter yourself. Having said that, one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Pricey though.
Best burgers in Saskatoon. Visited for the first time last month, and boy, am I glad they came into town! Delicious burgers, flavourful and moist. So good. Will be back!
The food is really good. For the most part the service has been really friendly any time I've gone there. My last visit however, the person at the till became very angry when we stood and looked at the menu for two minutes to decide what we wanted before ordering. There was no one else in there so we weren't holding up a line or anything so I don't know why he was so frustrated with us. Other than that one experience, I really do like this place. And maybe they could get some peanut control happening. There was peanut shells everywhere in there last time I was there.
Best burgers in the city! You can't beat the taste or quality. Oh and if it's just for one person, get the "little" fries (Cajun style of course) as their little order is larger than anyone else's large order!
Five guys burgers are so awesome and yummy!! My boyfriend and I use to love going to fudds, five guys is waaay better. The bugers are so juicy and delicious :) one complaint is I don't like the mess of peanut shells all over the floor. It seems odd and kind of gross.
Okay. Love the peanuts everywhere, don't go if you have a nut allergy of course.
Food doesn't hold well though, so eat it fast while you are there.
Great meal fast service considering how busy they are. Only complaint need more seating.
Wonderful.. I don't understand people who don't like this: it's wonderful. Yes, the burgers are massive -- the 'small' ones are a normal size and the 'regular' ones are immense. They're juicy and sloppy, but then I don't like FuddRs burgers, as I find them much too dry. And the fries are very very good. Yes, you can probably BBQ better burgers at home -- that's the best kind of burger if you're good at it -- but this is the tastiest commercial burger I've ever had.
Also -- it's best to take them home, since the place is usually crowded and the ambiance is very fast food. But any flaws are subsumed by the totally wonderful burgers.
Just what we needed in Saskatoon! Nobody makes a burger like the USA, glad they gave a franchise here, I love it!

Food is amazing!! And the staff work so hard to get you through quick!! Impressive
So delicious and simple. The burgers are delicious, I love the fried onions I've had both the plain and Cajun fries and they are both delicious. Their fries are the perfect level of done-ness. I don't understand how anybody could complain. I've never had a bad meal or experience there.
Loved the burger. One of the best. Great service. I did not care for the fries though as they got a little cold sitting there for a while, before the burger was done.
Made to order before your eyes, nothing not to like. I am surprised to hear that people had cold fries, as the staff are constantly cooking the fries to be ready with your burger. Delicious, fresh ingredients, and the foil keeps it hot until I get it home.
The only thing I can't stand is eating peanuts and dropping the shells on the floor - I feel guilty making an intentional mess that someone making minimum wage has to clean up.
Fantastic burger. Just like you would make at home but with no clean up or dishes. Awesome
Have been three times now. Consistently good. Fries do have a nutty taste because of the peanut oil. Great alternative to a fuddruckers burger if you're looking for something a bit different
I went "All the way" with Five Guys and loved it!!! That there was a tasty burger!
Tasty. I was a bit shocked at the price, and how busy the place was mid afternoon, i also didnt see anywhere on the menu that the burgers came as a double, $15 for a double cheeseburger, regular fries and large drink, the fries were huge, woulda just split an order if i had known, and the burger was a double and huge and messy and delicious, it reminds me of in n out burger, but we dont have those here so five guys will havta do, my advice is dont bother with fries the burgers more then enough, and if you do, split a regular or large with someone
A lot of hype about this place before it opened up. Seems viral marketing pays off. Well the burgers are pretty good! They'd be better with real cheddar instead of platic cheese though. Also free peanuts for takesies is cool. And the music they play is awesome! If it's a radio station I wanna know which one.
Best burger in Saskatoon.. This is easily the best burger in all of Saskatoon, I feel great having 5 guys inside me.
Worth the 20 min awkward wait. Husband compared his reg. bacon cheeseburger to a burger at Gordon Ramsay STK and said it was better! Very fresh toppings. Seemed a bit pricy.. It's not really fast food since its made to order. Seems like another grill guy would have sped things up.
Great burger! Tip to the wise park on the street and walk..it is worth it! Mano's will have you towed

Yummy. Best cheeseburger I've ever eaten!
Funny Math. I went there today for my 2nd time at this location. The food was delicious but their math is a bit weird. Cheese costs $1.00 and bacon costs $.80 so guess how much cheese and bacon together costs......that's right, $2.00!
DO NOT EVEN ENTER THE DOOR IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS!!!! Bags of peanut stacked as you wait in line, boxes of peanut oil stacked by the wall, and cracked peanut shells all over the ground.....which make the place look really dirty ! Other than that the food is great! fries are a little too salty still, but it is a new location and I am sure they will get the hang of it!
Great burger and fries. Great fresh cut fries, way more than we could eat and the burgers were great. I love the fresh made patty style burger they serve and the toppings were perfect with one exception, the mushrooms. If they switch to fresh mushrooms to fry up, I'd be happy. Just a warning, their jalapeños are much hotter than I expected from a jalapeño. I will be back for sure.
Fresh but not Fast. The place was busy, even at 4pm, I guess everyone is still trying out the new burger joint in Saskatoon. Parking lot was real small and full, I had to park on the street. When I entered, I was greeted by loud music and a short line. My order went quick and smoothly. The prices are higher than what you would typically expect for a fast food joint. Hamburger $6.99, little hamburger $4.99, Cheeseburger $7.99, little Cheeseburger $5.99, regular fries $3.99, little fries, $2.99, reg. drink $2.39 with free refills (prices are quoted as of June 2013). They also serve hotdogs and sandwiches starting at $3.99. There's even a vegetarian sandwich option. I wouldn't call it fast food, since I waited 6 minutes before my burger was ready. They do however have peanuts while you wait and the floor seemed to be littered with shells.
I found the portions quite large, the size of the little hamburger is what I would equate to being a regular size burger at any other fast food restaurant. The fries were more on the soft side, I ordered the cajun style little fries and the portion was abundant for one person but quite unique in flavour. The burger tasted fresh and the pickles had a wonderful crunch. The bun was real soft and the meat was juicy but not really seasoned. My burger was not really salty, perhaps it was the condiments I had selected. You can choose as many toppings/condiments as you want from their list at no additional charge.
For me, the burgers were okay, nothing out of the world. I would commend the freshness. My favourite is still In N Out Burger when I go to the U.S. I guess the competition in Saskatoon would be Fuddruckers if you compare quality and price. I really enjoy the "pumpy cheese" as my sister and I have called it over the years at Fuddruckers, but it's nice to have some new and fresh options in Saskatoon.
Burgers above average but fries way too salty
Ordered the "hamburger" "all the way" which is two patties loaded with, mayo, ketchup, grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce n mushrooms =6.99
Wouldn't order this on a date night unless you are prepared to show a slobbery side :)
The regular fries were large enough to satisfy two adults and a 6 yr old.
Only downside, music was a bit too loud but my guess a way to get customers in n out.
Meal was delicious burgers were one of the best I've had in S'toon.
Ate at the Regina west location wasn't impressed. This was more up to the typical standards of five guys n fries (Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Scottsdale AZ)
Good burger. Bacon cheeseburger all the way with bbq sauce. Good greasy burger with slight taste of peanuts - the menus says they use peanut oil so the mushrooms and onions probably are fried in it as well. Fries were tasty. As others mentioned, the bun is squished. Is it better tasting that Fudds or Jerry's - yes. Is it the best burger in town. No, Park Burger at Park Cafe and Weczeria's W Burger holds that crown, but a good tasty burger. Will go back.
Worth the wait!. We were a little intimidated by the lineup, but it went quick. The free peanuts in line were a nice bonus, and we were able to get a table despite how busy it was. The fries were great and the burgers were fantastic. One order of large fries was plenty for both of us. I'm guessing that the burgers may be best if eaten immediately rather than brought home for take out. They were quite juicy. Well worth the wait. We will be back.
Finally this place opened in Saskatoon. This is exactly what was needed, the best burger you can have for less than 10 bucks. Opening day had a huge line up showing how popular this franchise is.
