It's a nice older building that has been converted to an ice cream shop. The two young ladies took our order, one had a mask the other didn't. We ordered a blueberry frozen yogurt with a waffle cone. We sat outside under the shade of the trees outside cause there is no sitting inside for now...

Great ice cream, almost anything possible is made in house which is super cool. Great staff- can see a lot of new hires and how well management is working with them to handle those crazy nights. Love how supportive they are with the pride ice cream and Ukrainian flag all on display!

Great place with dairy-free ice cream options that are delicious. Giving an average rating because when I go to order the just fruit ice cream and a certain employee is working the machine is either broken or shut off for some reason. Starting to seem like this employee just doesn’t want to use the machine. Awesome ice cream when other people are working!

Every visit here is filled with happiness. I am visiting this place twice every week from last 5 years (in springs and summers). Amazing selection of flavors, quality of ice cream is awesome and staff is friendly. I would suggest to try Pistachio, Banana Fudge, Strawberry, Cookie Dough and Orange. Keep up the good work team Homestead.

The person serving me didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Had to repeat my order, didn’t even understand what type of dish I was asking for, and ended up giving me the wrong kind (blueberry or Saskatoon berry topping instead of sour cherry). The ratio of topping to ice cream was way off. Plus I’ve heard from multiple former employees that the management is toxic. Looks like this is the last time I will patronize this establishment. Really too bad, because the ice cream, itself, is good!

The hard ice cream is good here but what keeps us coming back is the rotating soft serve flavors. It was disappointing over the winter months that there was nothing in the regards to try like a creme egg flavour or something.

My first visit, was a little unprepared. So many choices, felt very rushed. A bit pricey, 5.50 for a cup and a half of ice cream. It was good, but I'll give it a pass next time. Cute patio for gathering.

Easily the best ice cream I've had in my life. I bought a jar (yes, ice cream in a jar!) of Homestead's pistachio ice cream at a grocery store in Saskatoon originally thinking it was just a new brand I've never heard of. When I arrived home and had a taste I was blown away by how sweet, savory, and smooth the ice cream was. I enjoyed it so much that I went back later that night and bought every other flavor the store had to offer!
I was only visiting Saskatoon briefly for a work trip, so I was disappointed to find that when I came back home the same chain of grocery stores didn't sell Homestead ice cream! Next time I find myself in Saskatoon I'll definitely be stockpiling some coolers to take home.
If you're ever in town I highly recommend stopping by and trying these guys out, I'm confident a sample would be enough to get you hooked!

This ice cream really puts you on another level. I love every flavor i tried and keep trying more. This is earth shifting ice cream. by far the best in the province. Friendly staff and ownership who are involved in everyday of the business that care about their customers. Elevating rich, sweet, and creamy small batch goodness. Love keeping this at home on nights after work during times of reflection. Keep up the great work!

My family and I ordered double cones that were very small and had no ice cream in the actual cone, just perched on top. The staff was rude when we questioned the small amount of ice cream and we were responded to with eye rolls and snarky comments. My mom later found a hair in the cone and complained to the manager. The manager was ruder than his employees and said, “the costumer is not always right.” Spend your money elsewhere!

Great place. Bit of a line up and hard to pick the icecream flavors while people stood in front of the coolers. Could be a bit more organized that way but other than that it's worth it. Really loved the icecream.

Ice cream was tasty but how are you an ice cream parlour with tonnes of families visiting and no change table in either of your washrooms? I'm not changing my daughter on the floor so we won't be back anytime soon. Disappointing.

I love the frozen yogurt (I can’t have ice cream so I look forward to this every summer!) but I waited in line for 20 minutes, only to be told the frozen yogurt machine was broken. I understand that machines break, but it would be courteous to put up a sign so people don’t waste their time waiting in line.
