Review Browns Socialhouse - Saskatoon

I have an excellent meal here. I had the Southwest Rice bowl and it was delicious. I wish I could make something like this at home! Then to top things off I had the Warm Double Chocolate Brownie for dessert. It was quite delicious, but also large. I would have preferred to juat have half of it, but I was solo so had to eat it all! Would definitely come back here again.

Great service and atmosphere. The food came quickly. Only complaint is my noodle bowl was very oily, but everything was good overall!

I have gone here twice both times to celebrate! I had a burger the first time and it was really good one of my friends absolutely loves the fish and chips. Now the second time I had the dragon roll. Now I love sushi, but it was so disappointing, it did not taste good at all, but I ate it anyways. It was too expensive for a bad experience. Another point if you want a quiet dinner, don't eat here. It is way to loud in there!

Great food, great service. Had some crispy chicken ramen, which was absolutely delicious. Even though the fried chicken came in a soup, it was still crispy and juicy when it was time to eat it. The soup and noodles were perfect. Well balanced with the saltiness of the egg, sweetness of the corn and the touch of spice from the soup. The service was decently quick, and all the servers were extremely friendly. The restaurant is a tad loud if you want to have a good conversation with your friends across the table, but I guess that’s just part of the atmosphere of the restaurant.

I’ve been to this place several times whether it be for takeout, dine in or skip the dishes and I’ve always had a wonderful experience! Even if something went wrong with the order(which is bound to happen every once in a while in food service) the staff was courteous and kind and helped figure it out as quickly and kindly as possible. The food is delicious, atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is delightful.

We had a LOVELY takeout meal of fish and chips. As always the meal was first rate. The fish was just perfect. The fries and gravy were very enjoyable. Our go-to meal once a month for a real treat!

Went here for supper and the food and service was amazing! It took a little longer for our food to get to us, because they were double checking it since I had a peanut allergy, but for the inconvenience our server gave us a free dessert!

Not recommended for someone with Celiac Disease. They list cross contaminated items as gluten friendly on their menu, so you can't trust it at all. They admitted this to me. They didn't know what the ingredients were in A LOT of their menu items and kept recommending unsafe items. A restaurant that doesn't even know the ingredients they are cooking and serving to people..... that's pathetic. The waitress was great, she cared and did her best. I let her know how much I appreciated her. The management team is at fault. They need to better educate themselves. After 30 minutes of having to get them to check ingredients and finding out most of their items had wheat in them I ended up eating a salad. Even that was a battle because they didn't know salad dressing often contains gluten. The manager even said "I think the dressings are safe, is that good enough? or do you want me to read the ingredients on the box?" Obviously read it pal! I don't really feel like being brutally Ill simply because you are lazy and don't care. Only reason why I stayed is because I had plans after and wouldn't have had time to go somewhere else. I do not like being a bother, and hate eating out because of places like this.

First time being here and they treated us like gold. Wow great service and a great waitress we have too. I recommend this SocialHouse for everyone. Thank You to the staff you were kind and great and fun.

Food tasted good, fries and and gravy were cold and Soggy.(skim already settled on the gravy) Fish burger was Cold and soggy. But chicken burger was hot so timing is clearly off. Server barely came past the table and I had to go up to find her to ask for the bill. For $100 on lunch I’m quite disappointed. Considering the place was empty.

Great service! Sunny beautiful patio. Happy friendly waitress. Yummy food. Excellent sangria!

My friend Mary Anne joined me at Brown's at Lawson Heights for a fabulous lunch. The food and the service was great. We were talking lots and remembering our childhoods because we met in grade 4 in High Bluff Manitoba! The staff at Brown's Social House made us feel relaxed...not rushed. The brownie would feed a family of 4 but every bite was a caramel, chocolate, ice cream, walnut explosion and worth the calories. Mary Anne's soup, salad, and bread combo looked good but my dynamite roll was served soy free to avoid my allergy and I loved every bite! We will be back! Thank you to Brown's Social House at Lawson Heights Mall! ��

Service this evening was definitely subpar for Brown's. 2hrs for a simple 2 person service. Seated by 6:15 Finally finished by 8:15. Gluten free pizza order was screwed up to boot. Not impressed!!

Amazing food and even more amazing service. Our daughter brought her stuffed penguin in and they set him up with a booster seat, (paper) fish and a little glass of water. Thank you sooooo much!!!!

You will for sure enjoy your experience at browns you are well looked after by all the staff and management food is great it's a very busy and popular place

Lunch on Father's Day was great. Food was hot and tasted great, but the kitchen was slow, and they had run out of gravy! Our server was attentive and apologetic, so that made up for it.

Happy people working at this location. I ordered the steak sandwich. I received my steak which was slightly overdone. A new steak was prepared and it was great I had ordered Medium. The fries are great and you gotta order a side of gravy. I also had the lemonade which was tart like it should be. As I left, I was handed a gift of $5.00 off my next visit their. Which was a nice jesture.

Awesome burger tonight! Followed with key lime pie. So delicious and great service. Highly recommend.

We visited on Fathers day, kitchen service were too slow were waiting for our food for almost an hour, though the restaurant was not that full at 9:00 pm, hopefully on our next visit they will improve on how to serve the food on a minimal time frame

It our first time checking out the new location and it was great!! Our server was awesome and the good was great!! Patio drinks again soon at this location!

My husband and I have been a few times. The food and drinks have always been so tasty and our service the last time was above and beyond great!

So my kid and I went for supper. We were ignored and treated terribly until I got upset. Had to get our own drinks.....the server visited with her friends while we sat there waiting for her to take our drink orders.... and after the manager told her to get to work she came by and introduced her self then went back to visiting with her friends it took 25 mins to get our own drinks from the bar....it wasn't until after he said something to her that everyone was overly friendly trying to make up for their oversight. The only thing was to give us free dessert for their slightly rude service. Here's your tip acknowledge your customer and appreciate every person that walks through your door... because I know for a fact just based on this service I won't be coming back
